"It doesn't show that it is now a spear.....that's unusual, even though we made a spear out of it. Maybe we have to do something else to use it....." Kyle started thinking loudly again, Maria and Max looked at each other and shrugged their shoulder.
"Hey...don't worry, It doesn't show it but why do we care until it can help us" Max said while patting Kyle's shoulder. Kyle slapped his hand off his shoulder.
"Shut up, Dumbhead, you don't know anything" Kyle said, he was pissed off.
Veins popped out of Max's head as he pounced on Kyle, they started fighting and bantering until Maria stopped them with an important topic.
"Fucking idiots, why fight with each other, LOOK!" Maria shouted at them and pointed at the space crack. The energy around it was flickering, The trio went on guard, Kyle having the dagger, Max the so called bone spear and Maria, the rusted bat.
Five minutes passed and suddenly, a skinny brown leg came out of the space crack, than came the whole goblin. It saw the trio and started screaming like the previous goblin to alert the others. With him came 4 more goblins. They all looked at the trio until all their eyes got glued on Maria, drool started coming out of their mouth, they started sadistically laughing as if very happy from the sudden circumstances.
Maria shivered from their gazes but not scared, she actually wanted to kill them with all her heart this time. Max's face was the most interesting one, red blood shot eyes, gritting of teeth, he looked bat shit crazy.
"Hey, calm down a litt..." Kyle was just going to console him but was late as Max gave a war cry and went running towards the goblins. Kyle facepalmed and with Maria started running behind Max.
The goblins took a step back looking at Max but after looking at each other again, they realized again that they were the one's with greater number.
Max reached near a goblin and thrusted his spear at the goblin's eye, instinctively, the goblin stepped back, dodging the attack. But Max wasn't done as he used the rear of the bone spear and thrusted it in it's stomach. The goblin spat a mouthful of saliva at the ground.
Max didn't give him time as he used the spear head to stab it in the heart. The goblin shreaked in pain, Max retracted the spear and looked at the goblin slowly dying in front of him.
All this happened in a matter of seconds, surprising both the sides. Kyle smirked while Maria literally had hearts shaped in her eyes. The goblins feared of what happened, they didn't feel remorse for losing a comrade of the same species rather had the thought to flee but couldn't because the greed and lust inside them wanted the beauty beside the two humans. They lost their rationality and just started fighting with the trio.
Maria swiftly dodged the dagger of the goblins gathering their attention while Kyle used the dagger to put small cuts and even slit the throat of one of them.
After some time he got many notifications simultaneously satisfying him.

"Only 10 EXP left before level up. What about you..?" Kyle asked Maria and Max.
"I need 20 EXP more to level up" Maria said excitedly, the thrill she got by fighting these goblins really liven up her mood.
"I leveled up to 2, I got 20 EXP from the previous goblin that I killed on my own. And leveled up from others" Max said with a mild smile.
"Woah, then what changed in the status..?"
"Nothin much, I got 3 WP points and placed 2 of them in strength and the last on intelligence making them 19 and 11 respectively." Max said while fiddling with his system.
"19 point in strength..?!" Kyle said with his jaw wide open.
"My strength is 12, and the lowest intelligence at 13" Maria said while clinging to Max. She giggled while looking at Kyle as she got the gist of why Kyle was shocked by their strength.
'I'm fucking weak' Kyle thought with a dejected look. He quickly changed the topic by starting to take the red cores.
In the end, Kyle got 1 and both of them 2 each as Kyle had more cores than them, He didn't have any problem with it too.
This time, they didn't make any mistake and quickly dug a pit to put all the corpses in it. Before that, Kyle took 4 more goblin legs with Max's help to make more of them.
Like this hours passed till Joey came with his group. Beside them were Elina and her group.
"What took you so long?, we just killed all the goblins of the day' Kyle asked Joey and Elina.
"Bruh, you don't know much as you are here for a of of time, but Gale's group has made havoc in the whole university, we had to take care of some his lackeys before coming here. We can't go back too." Joey said with a concerned look.
"What's that?" Elina asked Max as an opportunity to change the topic. Max told them everything that happened till now, The goblin's attitude, Kyle making weapons and so on.
"So if we can't go back to the university, why don't we make a shelter here near the space crack..?" Kyle asked everyone. He saw everyone's face one by one and found no objection.
It was time to make their own Safe house.
