A way out

"FUCK!"

"Why is he not dying!"

"Dumbass, it's the last boss, of course it will be good, JUST KEEP FIGHTING!"

Max and Joey were having the fight with enjoyment. It was the first time in a while that a monster gave them a hard time.

All of them were equally supporting each other, with Rose healing people now and then, the only limitation she had was that she could only heal someone with physical contact.

Maria was doing pretty well, teleporting again and again annoying the hell out of the level 7 hobgoblin. She even used spatial distortion one time but alas it didn't kill it and gave slightly mild wounds.

Richard was just as an assassin looking for the right time to use his backstab skill. Andrew kept shooting the teeth of vengeance, but it was not able to penetrate the skin due to the level difference. The one that actually went inside was weirdly not doing much damage.

The hobgoblin had an extra skill named regeneration, it was not strong but the regeneration was just not making it die. The fight kept on going on with everyone giving their all.

Meanwhile, Kyle was making more tooth of vengeance and sold about a hundred of them in the shop making 2 red stones each.

"See, I told you I don't need to fight in order to level up. I am level 6 before anyone else right now." Kyle said with a snicker.

[ Congratulation for making a Tooth of vengeance]

"Hm…I didn't get EXP in making them now." Kyle frowned at the discovery.

"Well…it must have something to do with your leveling up."

"Hm…doesn't matter, I will just keep selling it"

Kyle extracted all the good material from the hobgoblin corpses and stored it in his inventory.

"I have 150 red cores, might as well buy the material."

He looked for some average materials for practice.

Bronze Ingot

Normal grade

Non-elemental

Rank 1

Pure bronze which can be used to make various products or by-products. It can be found on any planet in abundance.

10 red core per kg

Furnace

Normal grade

Rank 1

A regular furnace made from a special type of clay can be used to melt normal metals and can withstand super high temperatures. Cannot be used for elemental ores.

30 red cores.

He bought the stuff quickly making them materialize in his inventory. He bought the ingots out, they looked pretty good.

"Wow, did I remind you about this stuff" Elena said looking at the ingots all fascinated

"Yeah, I had to do it one day or another."

"But, now that I have bought it, I know I have to melt this stuff…nut where to but after melting?"

Elena and Katherine were silent as they had no idea how to help in the matter. Kyle thought a while and then went to try something.

He went on plain ground, with a dagger, and made a drawing of the sword. The sword looked normal with a handle and an averagely long blade. He being satisfied with the first drawing started taking out dirt from the stencil and stopped when felt like the correct measurements. Both the girls looked at him with curiosity.

He materialized the furnace which was about half his height. Then put some wood inside it, he bought a metallic pot which said it wont melt in such normal situations.

After putting the ingots in the pot which also went inside the furnace, he put the wood on fire.

"What are you doing?"

"I am melting the bronze to make a sword."

"But…. don't they make like the metal glowing hot and then hammer it to make it."

"I don't have the material for it, I can't just put all my core in an experiment. Oh…I have to buy a holder for the pot" He once again went busy with his work, the girls looked at him all diligent and excited and couldn't help but chuckle.

2 hours later, he saw the bronze all melted and glowing. It had become golden in the pot. Kyle took it out with the holder and without waiting spilled all of it slowly in the stencil. Black smoke came out instantly making them cough. Some sizzling sound for a while till they saw the outcome.

A bronze sword looking shape was in the stencil. It was slipped here and there making it

It was very hot so Kyle couldn't pick it up. He used the holder to pick it up. The bronze had taken the shape of a sword but there

"Uhh…is it even usable?"

"No, I saw this technique in our previous world but alas it can't happen without proper tools. I might just have to hammer the ore when heated for the time being. But lets just go give them some help now"

Kyle said putting all the stuff back in the inventory. They went ahead and saw the level 7 on its knees and everyone around panting heavily.

"Didn't you kill it till now? It's been 3 hours" Kyle shouted, everyone, glared at him while huffing.

Max went to it with staggering feet and went for the final blow.

[Floor 2 cleared; awards being calculated…]

[ Calculation successful 100 red cores to every participant]

[ Special awards for the most damage doers]

A portal opened on the wall showing a forest on the other side. Everyone's eyes shone as they saw the next floor.

"Finally!" Kyle said as he sprinted and went inside the portal.

"Urggh…. that bastard!" Max said as he mustered the left us strength and went inside too.
