Chapter 10: Gaming Dream

I made it to the 15th floor usually a General is here and ready to fight anyone entering their domain. But there she is practicing her skills on the training dolls. She is bored to death and even I am bored as well. That's why we leave some times and just explore the world. I looked around and just felt confused as being in this castle for so long has left my body all sore. I looked at the General and seeing how strong she is. I just couldn't hold my grin.

"Those poor doors are all you have in here and all you can do is destroy them" I spoke gently 

"What else can I do? You are the Boss in this tower and you are gone for the day as no player has entered" She basically whined out

"Its true sir but know we must follow the rules of the game but if the Game Master finds out you have been sneaking out we are all in deep trouble" I heard Serina speak

I looked to the side and there she walked towards us "What's that suppose to mean?"

"That is correct; But what can I do if nobody passes the 10th Floor" I tell her as I made the cloak vanish

"Yes I know; But a few players had entered and were able to get to the 13thr floor... There was no General in the 10th floor She announces gently

"Oh yeah Kenneth was off today but where was his substitute?" I asked as I looked around

"We actually don't know we never saw him we are curious about something; What would happen to us if we get killed in this game?" Pele asked worriedly

"I actually don't know; Nobody now's who's an NPC or an actual player so I am assuming in a void until the hero kills the Final Boss" I explained lightly as I gave my back to them

"What if you get killed?" I hear Serina asked worriedly

"From what the Game Master left me; A fifty fifty chance of Game Over if a certain player defeats me but it never says if I get killed" I say smiling and I looked at them "Its been so long since I have eaten actual food and I do wish I could eat the food in the NPC land but being a Boss I am unable to pass their barrier"

"There is a way but we'd have to capture a human with the Chef Skill" Pele say's warmly

"So in a way you are Final Boss but what if the Incorrect Player kills you does he show up or do we do a Do over" Serina asked curiously 

"My lord if its human food you wish I can go get it for you" Aeria appears out of the shadows 

I know with all my heart Aeria is an NPC as she keeps popping up from the Shadows and something green is on top of her head. While the rest do not have it. I have seen players but their icons above their heads are Orange. Red if a player has killed another. Gold if a player is a Hero. Black if it's a chosen player from the Game Master to be the Final Boss being myself and him but he will change his color to Orange and only Black when he is using his Giant Shadow form whenever he goes to announce Events to get special items. I am with a Grey Icon as but once I am defeated a third time as I have three health bars. 

I am to revive and seven health bars will pop up and I will transform unlocking my Final Boss form. I looked at myself as I have scales around my body. A tail. I don't even know what's my Final Boss form so I am assuming a Giant Salamander as my tail looks reptilian. My eyes are yellow and my pupil is a slit. Like a cat's pupil or snake. My hair slightly long black as night as black mist appears from time to time. I have four horns. Two long ones on top of my head and two small ones on my forehead. The patches of scales around my skin are black. 

The Game Master seems he loves everything mythical and fantasy. Each Boss is a beast from mythical books and the popular type of myths. Vampire. Werewolf. Goblin. Minotaur. Centaur. Gnomes. Chimera. Basilisk. Cyclops. Lamina. But because I am the last I do not know what I am. I know the rest but I do not know myself. I know once the last General the Lamia is defeated my door pops up for them to fight me. 

The Game Master made a good and evil so the monsters the players eliminate to raise their level and random drops happen. But because we are stuck inside the game until someone defeats me or someone finds out who the actual boss is then my level keeps rising every two months. When we started I was at level fifty. But we have been stuck in this game for over three years know I am at level 900. As every two months my level would rise fifty until the level I am at know. 

"You know that the more you collect gold and diamonds you are basically rich right?" I commented to the Generals

"Yes..." They all say smiling

"The moment the game ends and you got lets say you have ten thousand gold coins; In real life you will receive a check of five thousand, Gold coins are worth half in real life, Ruby's well they stay the same that's why Ruby's are so hard to find in the game but for some reason the Game Master added that clause for Rubies when they are so hard to find in real life" I explained lightly

"Reasons why if a player or us die we go to level one?" Pele says confused

"That is correct; Right know players over 165 can hide their levels and can place all their gold in a safe lock for when they die and return to level one all their equipment and gold in the lock area is still there" I explain plainly as I remove the second cloak

"We all have that, But our maximum is five" Aeria says as she crosses her arms

"Are we having a reunion in 15th Floor?" Shade appears from the shadows

Kaiba had waltz in with Jane and Lexis. Alright Kaiba, Jane, Lexis, Aeria, Pele and Serina is here. Six Generals. Where is the rest? Its suppose to be ten generals. We are basically missing four. In flew Keela with Gerald in her claws. She slams Gerald on the floor and she lands beside Aeria with her arms crossed. Eight Generals.

Gerald looks at Keela "Please Keela; Its not what it seems"

"Shut up" Keela snaps at him

A tail grabs him by the throat and yanks him back "Your mine sweet flesh"

"Aaahhh! Someone save me!" Gerald screams out in fear

I sighed out and say "Welcome Gerald; Keela and Orchid..."

"Master!" the two females say as Gerald is about to pass out

"Release poor Gerald" I groaned out in annoyance

"Fine Master" Orchid complains a bit as she drops him

His body lands on the floor as he coughs. He hides behind Kaiba un mere seconds. I am completely surprised; Orchid has never gotten interested in a male before. Usually she takes players not other generals. I saw her slither towards Shade and all I can do right know is just rub my eyes annoyed.

I sighed out and just looked as I noticed Mikael come in through the door with Ping and Ken. We are completed but seems we are missing some subordinates I am not staying here any longer. I must go to the top to train for when he or she comes.

"I know we want to go home but we must train; Become stronger as if we do not do anything and we are NPC's we will get deleted in front of everyone who has memories of ya" I told them as I eliminated the human form

"Yes sir..." They all said in unison

"Tell the rest; If she passed Floor 12th then show her your powers!" I ordered as my voice deepened

They all cheered and on instinct my whole body turn black. The giant doors were opened and there stood a player. We took this reunion way to long. Some players were able to reach the 15th floor so quickly. I may be the 30th Boss but I am the last boss. I want to go home but only one can free us. I would say two but the Hero of this game is an idiot that all it wants is to collect all the bounties and use others for his sinister games.

Luckily there are no cheaters being that we cannot access the outside world correctly. I have heard players leaving their chats open to text with their families on the outside world. But that was the only time I have heard about it and I never tested it as nobody ever answered back. 

I saw Orchid's eyes glow when she saw the players. Three in total. They were males. I sighed out and I gave her the ok to have her fun. The rest of the generals vanished as I teleported myself to the top of the tower. I must train for him or her.

I looked at my whole battling room as it had fake bones. Blood. A few Shadows looming around in the darkness. I walked forward as my black form slowly disappeared. All I could do was look upwards with such curiosity. How can such a player be so smart and such strength than the hero of the story?

I will find out in the future. I must be strong I can't let the owner of this game see us trying to cheat our way out. This will never end if we do that. Luckily none of the Generals can disobey an order of mine as it is a curse implemented on them for being Generals so in a way it is good.

A hiss was heard and I noticed the flying feline by the window. No rider. Another appeared. It's mating season it seems. Both of these flying felines are male.

Will I be able to have a girlfriend?

A wife?

A family?

Will I ever leave this place?

Am I even real?

I slowly awaken from the weird dream and I just groaned out. I rubbed my eyes annoyed. My back is completely sore and that's when I noticed I was laying back against my office chair. A very uncomfortable position. The pile of papers spread out as I had complaints and repair bills for the shops that got burned down. The door to my office opened revealing Oliver. He looks tired as well. If he looks like that something happened and now it is our problem to deal with.

"Yes Olivier?" I asked as I moved the paperwork gently

"They are here Sir" he says tiredly

I sighed out a bit frustrated "Bring me coffee and let them in"

"Yes Sir" Oliver answers as he leaves the door open

In entered the Chief and my lawyer as the poor Chief looks terrified "So you have spoken to my lawyer calmly correct"

"Yes Sir; I see what the man has done" the Chief says as he looks down

"Alright so have we got into an understanding?" I asked him as I crossed my arms

"Yes Sir, I will make sure the most trusted Judge we have to have him prosecuted"

"Good; Now on to business, The party is three days and my lawyer brought a contract just to ensure the privacy of the guests arriving that day" I explained gently

"Yes Sir... We thought and read it before coming to you; But my worriedness with these men would they be in danger?" he asked worriedly

"No; It's to maintain secrecy when it involves something like CEO's drinking and to prevent reporters..." I explained "But at the same time if they try taking or bringing a minor into the party or try to take a very drunk woman to their home; You understand what I am implying correct"

His eyes lit up a bit and asked "Anything else?"

"Wolfsbane is not allowed I have two members who are deathly allergic and just for in case any tree nuts, peanuts and anything garlic I have dealt with many complaints by females trying to maintain their figure or allergies in check" I notified lying smoothly 

"I understand Sir" he says as we shake hands

My lawyer placed the contract on top of the table and Oliver finally walks in with my coffee. I sighed out and looked at my coffee. Kira still hasn't awoken. I am very worried about her. I sighed out. She passed out yesterday after the whole almost kidnapping situation. She is human so she is healing slowly. I looked at Oliver as he yawns slightly. He was on guard last night and here he is being a secretary. I should call on Amethyst. But I don't know if she is even in the States. I sighed out and just looked at my coffee once again.

"How is Kira?" I asked worriedly

"She is doing better but still hasn't awoken" Oliver tells me gently

The pack is sad and worried. Their future Luna got wounded. They are angry and wanting revenge but the Lycan King has ordered to step down. I held the coffee mug tightly as my lawyer with the Chief of Police left my Office as the tension in here was getting thick. 

I am still angry at the situation and I want to protect her but I can't be with her all day. She still hasn't found out about us and all I can do is keep everything hidden. 

I wish I could tell her about us but we have laws so I have to follow them.
