Calvin woke up at 7 in the morning. Normally he would just continue to sleep until 8 when he usually starts his day.

But once he woke up and remembered about Genesis, all his drowsiness and his plan to sleep goes down the drain and what replaced it is excitement to play the game.

Calvin stood up and removed the helmet from the socket since its fully charged but instead of playing the game right away, he did his morning routine first.

He wasn't the type to forget about important things just because he wants to play the game. Besides, breakfast is one of his favorite time of the day so how could he pass it?

Also, his body was itching to work out and since he also likes to do it even before he started playing the game then he'll happily do it.

Though the biggest reason is really because of his mom. If she finds out that he played the game before even eating, god knows how long he'll hear her scolding.

After doing his morning routine and working out for 20 minutes, Calvin walked downstairs and looked in surprise to what he saw.

"Ohh sis what's up? Why you're up so early today?" he asked curiously towards Marilyn who is sitting on the couch and on her phone.

"I fell asleep earlier than usual." Marilyn said simply.

"Ohh ok." Calvin responded without thinking much and said to Madelyne who's also sitting on the other couch reading a newspaper.

"Morning mom."

"Morning Cal." Madelyne greeted back with a smile before returning to reading.

Calvin headed towards the kitchen and per his normal breakfast brewed coffee and ate his breakfast while watching something on his phone.

After washing his plate, Calvin walked to the living room and sat besides Madelyne and chatted with his friends again.

They chatted about their experiences in the game and how fun it was. For the group of friends who didn't really have the same taste on games, they can all agree that Genesis is the most fun and interesting game that they have played.

Calvin got to know that 5 of them including him reached level 3 while Theo, Henric, and Leo reached 4 since they stayed played longer. They also got lucky and received some quests other than the starting quest and the mayor quest.

He also found out that all of them haven't yet chose a profession as they focused on leveling up first.

Calvin told them what he found out about the game, everything he learned and all the clues he heard from Narasha which surprised his friends. They didn't even stay for more than a second after that and immediately said that they'll test it out in the game.

He chuckled bitterly and looked towards his mom and sis. "Hey mom, sis."

They looked towards him curiously and asked at the same time.

Madelyne, "What is it Cal?"

Marilyn, "Yeah?"

Calvin replied, "You guys want to try Genesis too?"

Madelyne's eyebrows raised in surprise as she said, "That famous game that's all in the news?"

Before Calvin could say anything, Marilyn cut him off. "Yeah I was just about to tell you mom that I'm gonna buy the helmet later. A lot of my friends are talking about it so I also want to try it. But why do you ask Cal?"

Calvin said to his mom first, "Yeah mom that game." and then turned towards Marilyn. "Well wanna play together?"

Marilyn asked with confusion in her voice, "I thought players get random villages as their starting point though?"

"You can actually be in the same village with a friend if you know their unique id." Calvin said.

"Ohh thats possible? But why didn't you play with your friends then?"

"We wanted to go solo for a while before playing together. Besides, we didn't really have a good team comp."

At this time, Madelyne interjected, "Ok stop for a moment. Why are you asking me Cal if I want to play?"

Calvin shrugged, "I mean aren't you free mom? Since you mostly work from home, then why not play the game?"

"Well I am free but I don't really find fighting as fun. Besides, we'll have to spend some money to buy that helmet." Madelyne hesitated.

Marilyn cut off Calvin again, "Oh come on mom the helmet's very cheap you know. It only cost 400 dollars. Also Calvin's right mom. Aren't you bored these days? Why not try it out. Maybe you'll like it."

"Yeah mom just try it." Calvin added.

The siblings continued to try and convince their mother until she helplessly agreed which made the two smile in victory.

"When will we buy the helmets though?" Madelyne asked the two.

"How about later? I was already planning to buy one myself." Marilyn said.

"Let's go at 11 so we have time to clean the house and we can have our lunch outside too." Madelyne said to which the two nodded in agreement.

The three immediately started cleaning the house again. While at it, Marilyn said to Calvin.

"Hey Cal. Sorry but I won't be joining you in your village. My friend just invited me to her village so I'm gonna go with her."

Even though he was a bit disappointed, Calvin didn't show it and said. "Its ok sis. How about you mom? Do you have friends that plays the game?"

Madelyne smiled, "I'm going with you."

"You sure?" Calvin asked.

"Yup. I don't know if there is someone I know that plays the games and even if there is, I'll still play with you. Since I don't know much about games, you got to help me ok?" Madelyne said with a smile.

Calvin smiled and said, "Of course you can rely on me mom. I'll try my best to make it fun for you."

Marilyn grumbled as she saw the two smiling at each other. "Hey don't you guys leave me alone. Your not mad right? You'll still help me right Cal?"

"Of course not. And sure you can me ask anything since we can still be friends in the game. Just ask me anytime you want." Calvin chuckled in response.

"Hehe love you Cal!" Marilyn giggled and smiled as Calvin just shrugged it off with a smile.

Seeing her two children joking around made a sweet smile appear on Madelyne's face.
