Bai Kou sat by the window in the small resting lounge on the second floor, reading a book and pushing her hot tea away, tapping her fingertips on the table as she ordered Mr. Dong, "Bring me a cold one."
The always expressionless Mr. Dong said with a stern face, "I just switched to a cold drink."
"That last cup was too cold," Bai Kou said with no awareness that she was being troublesome, "Can't you use a thermometer? If you can't handle this simple task, I don't think you should be a butler anymore."
Mr. Dong walked away with the tea, his face still expressionless.
Bai Kou gave a cold glance at his retreating figure, then turned her head to the little girl squatting in the flowerbed in front, digging the soil with her head sticking up into the sky.
"You, wash your hands clean and cut me two flowers," she ordered.
