Jingzi saw Huaijin being so "polite" and did not find it strange.
She quickly bent over to return the greeting, and upon standing up, she reached up to adjust the Attendant Student's cap that had slipped down her forehead.
"The Teacher is here, but she is writing in the garden."
Huaijin nodded slightly, ready to set her things down and take her leave.
The Teacher had just become a first-class Confucian scholar a very long time ago, and had then become her "private tutor."
Having known each other for a long time, Huaijin knew that once the Teacher started writing in the garden, she was definitely becoming fascinated with calligraphy again. She would become engrossed and write all day long, not allowing others to disturb her and ceasing to meet with guests.
However, for someone as close as her, approaching in urgent matters wasn't too troublesome.
But considering Huaijin's respect for her Teacher, she wouldn't do so without a good reason.
