Chapter 47

Mr. Vincent and Amelia did not sleep all through the night, they have been waiting, calling and receiving calls hoping to get an information of where Cassandra is. Their world seems to be crumbling down to nothing. Their daughter is their joy and comfort. Amelia couldn't hold back her tears.

Morning came and there was still no sign of Cassandra or any information. Mr. Vincent thought of going out himself to look for his daughter, his princess, his joy. But where will he start from?

"Wife, I think I will go out and look for her while you stay back in case she comes back or someone has a clue of her whereabout." Mr. Vincent said and Amelia nodded. She couldn't even say a word as a result of her silent sobs.

Liam did not go to school that day, he joined his uncle to search for Cassandra. They used her picture to ask people around if they have seen her, but there seems to be no one that knows where she is.

"It's all my fault..." Liam murmured under his breath but his uncle heard him.

"Don't blame yourself for anything that is happening right now. Some things are just meant to happen. And sometimes, things happen for a reason." Mr. Leonard tried console.

"Guy... Liam is not in school today what's happening?" David asked James.

"I don't know. I thought he called you" James replied.

"He didn't... Maybe we should ask Gabriella" David suggested.

"Cassandra is also not in school" James said.

"Man could it be that those two crazy love birds skipped school today just to hangout and have fun?" David said thoughtfully and they both burst into a loud laughter.

"That's one reason why I don't want to fall in love" David said.

James: "..... "

"I mean take a look at yourself and Liam, you guys have finally run mad all because of this thing called love" David said as a matter of fact.

"You know what? I won't do anything for now. But when Liam is back... We will deal with you" James replied.

"Hey guys..." Gabriella and Jane said as they walked over to where David and James are.

"Hey...." James replied winking at Gabriella. Gosh this drama king of her's knows how to drive her insane.

"Why is Liam not in school today?" David asked. He has been trying so hard to avoid looking at Jane or even talking to her.

"Actually... Cassandra missing, so Liam and uncle Leonard are helping to look for her" Gabriella was so sad that it was obvious in her tune.

"Cassandra? Missing? When? Where? How?" David and James chorused. They couldn't believe their ears.

"She didn't get home yesterday after school" Gabriella replied.

"That's strange." David uttered thoughtfully.

"Why don't we help in the search?" Jane spoke and David found himself holding his breath for a minute. That voice... Damn what is this girl doing to him?

"I think that is a great idea" James replied.

"Yeah.... So we will meet after school" Gabriella said and everyone agreed.

"We have to go back to class now... See you later" Gabriella said and she and Jane turned to leave.

"So she won't give me a hug?" James grind and Gabriella rolled her eyes before coming back to hug him. Jane could only smile. If only she could be as happy as they are... David on the other hand couldn't help staring at Jane. That smile of her's is making him go knots.

"You like Jane, don't you?" James asked.

"What nonsense..." David replied.

"Stop denying it Dave... It's obvious that you will soon join our association of mad people in love" James said and laughed. David could only walk away. He just can't stand this drama king right now.

Cassandra twitched and her eyes flewed open. She could not make a move because she was tied to a chair, looking around, she discovered she is in a strange place a dark room that she does not how she managed to get there.
