Chapter 3

'Fuck' thought Maria as she threw the unconcious Phastos on the floor. It has been about 12 hours since their fight and she was already back at her hideout in Chicago.

'I should have Tsukiyomi'ed him the first chance I got. Now the whole world know my appearance' she thought, 'Rookie mistake, I shouldn't have underestimated my Uchiha genes. No wonder Madara is a battle-maniac.'

'I better get to Australia and get Thena before the Eternals gather around' thought Maria as she sighed. She opened Phastos' eye and started mind-fucking him before she starts her journey to Australia and also looked for the location of Thena and Gilgamesh which she luckily found, as Phastos sometimes checked all the eternals locations out of worry.

"Miss, you are back?" exclaimed Selvig who had just woken up.

"Yes, but I'm not staying for long" she responded, "When this one wakes up, tell him to create a way to cloak this place from the other Eternals"

"Yes miss" said Selvig who was still a little sleepy. Maria then went to have a shower before her trip to recruit another Eternal.

-A few hours later, on the helicarrier-

"So she disappeared even after we had locked down Chicago" Fury asked his agents

"Yes sir, we suspect she has a way to travel super fast" said one agent.

"It is entirely possible since she keeps on showing new tricks" said Tony who was rotating a pen between his fingers.

"And what in the name of Jesus are you doing here, Stark" asked Nick Fury after a sigh. His day couldn't get any better.

"I am just interested in this case" replied Stark as he stood up from the chair and walked towards Fury.

"So do you have anything new to add to the case, Mr 'genius' Stark" asked Fury who was desperate for information. He needed to retrieve the Tesseract otherwise the Board wasn't going to disappear from tailing his ass.

"Yes in fact. Since your agents are useless I'll tell you. She was last seen on camera entering the airport, a minute after her fight with the other unidentified Super" said Stark which caused Fury to raise a brow.

"I know, unbelievable that's what got me interested. How did she move that fast. Since she moved to the airport we can assume it's not a vehicle for obvious reasons, which is why I assumed It's a power of some sort" continued Stark as he walked to the chair again.

"So now we have to trace the planes that left that night and we might find a clue" suddenly realized Fury and looked to a nodding Tony Stark.

"Yeah, besides finding her due to some lucky encounter is probably your best choice" replied Stark as he at in the chair again, leaving the director of S.H.I.E.L.D in deep thought.

-2 and a half days later, somewhere in Australia-

"Why are all eternals so hard to find?" loudly said Maria as she walked towards the lady wearing white clothes sitting in front of a dried tree. There were a bones and stones all around the place giving the place a creepy vibe.

Thena who was busy enjoying the quiet didn't even bother looking at the intruder.

"What do you want from me, human?" asked Thena curiously. This was the first time in her old life a human had approached her, fully aware of what she was.

"To free you" replied Maria. This got a reaction out of Thena as she quickly turned her head to face Maria. Thena was slightly surprised when she looked into Maria's red eyes.

"Your kind might call what you have a sickness, but you and I know better don't we?" continued Maria as she slowly continued approaching Thena.

"And how would you know about my condition?" asked Thena, her eyes narrowed with suspicion.

"Those 'visions' are actually you memories. This planet wasn't the first you were sent to 'save'" responded Maria emphasizing the words visions and save. Thena's face fell into confusion for a second before she realized what Maria was hinting at.

"Wait..you mean all this time we were lied to and used?" asked Thena seriously. Her expression turned dark.

"Don't worry, I can release all your memories for you" said Maria who was now a few feet from Thena, "But nothing in this world is free"

"Who the hell are you?" asked a deep vice from behind Maria.

"What do you say, Thena?" asked Maria, completely ignoring Gilgamesh's question and presence.

'She knows Thena's name, meaning she possibly knows of our existence' thought Gilgamesh as he slowly approached the two women.

"Thena. What does this woman want?" continued Gilgamesh but his question was again not answered as Thena was deep in thought and had not heard him. This left Gilgamesh to worry even more considering what happens when Thena 'get angry'.

"Don't worry. She's deciding to betray the Eternals or not" said Maria, answering on Thena's behalf. This question made Gilgamesh stop his slow approach and take a defensive stance.

"Who are you?" he questioned seriously as his hands started getting covered in golden lines.

Maria turned away from Thena and faced Gilgamesh with her sharingan spinning wildly in anticipation.

"Hey Thena, I'm going to fight this guy while you decide" said Maria with a smile on her face.

Seeing the enemy not answering, Gilgamesh dashed towards Maria ready to knock her out for questioning. Before his punch could reach, Maria burst into a murder of crows before reforming a few meters behind Gilgamesh.

"Yeah, I'm not going to clash with a person with super strength" said Maria startling Gilgamesh as he quickly looked behind him to find Maria weaving some hand signs.

'Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!' mentally shouted Maria as she spew out a large fireball with a diameter of about 5 meters towards Gilgamesh.

*BOOM*

The fireball exploded upon contact with Gilgamesh's block leaving Gilgamesh's clothes slightly charred but his body unscathed.

'Well it seems the Mangekyou is the only thing I have that can lethally harm these Beings' thought Maria she scanned the damage she had caused on Gilgamesh.

"All that build up for this, I'm very disappointed" said Gilgamesh trying to anger Maria.

"Unfortunately for you that was a test" replied Maria as she activated her Mangekyou, "your beat done starts now"

'She suddenly feels way more dangerous. Is it because of the change in her eyes?' thought Gilgamesh as he was observing his opponent.

"You're very lucky this isn't a serious fight or else you would be dead by now" said Maria who noticed Gilgamesh staring into her eyes. A large red rib cage with long skeletal red arms suddenly appeared around her emitting heavy pressure that fell on Gilgamesh and before Gilgamesh could even blink, a big red skeletal fist was swiftly falling upon him.

By pure instinct, Gilgamesh threw a super powered jab at the Susanoo's fist.

*Bang*

The collision of the two fists caused the winds to start moving aound the two of them.

-Thena's POV-

Thena who was watching the fight was very surprised by the power of the unknown woman who had approached her. She had thought that the fight would be very short with Gilgamesh swiftly knocking out the woman in their first clash, but to her surprise the woman disappeared only to appear behind Gilgamesh and could somehow breath fire. Obviously the fire wouldn't hurt Gilgamesh but every thing that happened afterward was shocking. Just after the fist clash, the other arm of the skeleton surrounding the woman quickly slapped the unsuspecting Gilgamesh into her favorite tree with enough force to easily smash through the trunk.

Gilgamesh quickly stood up and charged at the woman to surprise her with the quick counter attack but was met with another fist. This time he didn't counter it as he was caught off guard and was pound into the ground. Another fist fell upon Gilgamesh before he could even stand up and for the next few seconds tens of giant punches fell upon her friend leaving him a bloody pulp.

Gilgamesh slowly stood up despite being given a good beat down.

"Look who turned out to be a disappointment" said the woman as a giant blade formed in the bony hand of the giant surrounding her, "Time to end this"

Seeing this Thena knew she had to intervene before Gilgamesh died. He had taken care of her for hundreds of years and she had known him for thousands more.

"Wait, I'll come with you if you spare him" said Thena as he walked between Gilgamesh and the woman.
