Chapter 46..

a rainbow like a light shined on the leader who get up with great difficulty, his breathing was haggard as he looked at me with fear in his eyes

The previous intent to kill me was all but gone, the peanut gallery was terrified, though that didn't stop them from mobilizing in a formation to protect their leader.

The leader stood up, the gash on his body was already back to normal, and the only indication that he was attacked was a slight red hue on his chest.

I had used quite a bit of my power in that attack, all this time I was feeling like the dungeon wasn't a challenge to me, as I was able to blitz past all the obstacles it threw at me.

But maybe now I will get to feel what the dungeon truly had in store for me

"Archers! attack him with arrows, those with spears, keep him occupied, Mages, bombard him with magic attacks" the leader yelled as he charged toward me.

Unlike the last time, I didn't have the element of surprise as he was wary of me changing weapons, so I took out what I was most comfortable with, A sword and a shield

Using my aura, I coated the weapons and shield with it and drastically increased the durability and attack power.

Each of my attacks was laced with a small amount of Aura, Thankfully none of these guys had any instant type of magic as I don't wanna be drowned by various spells.

I knew that the biggest danger to me at the moment was the mages, two of them as they stood at the far back, chanting a spell that might be the only attack that will effect me.

And the other thing was the level 4 who was currently charging at me.

We traded a few moves before I pushed him back and followed up by releasing aura flash.

'Weaken. Last Stand'

I activated the skills as suddenly the level four adventurer widened his eyes, although he knew it was too late to think about retreating as he took on another strike and flew for a good five meters before he stabilized himself.

"Cheh! you seem to be a really promising adventurer,unfortunately we are kn the opposite paths now, so I must kill you" he said to me

The my body was filed with power as I looked at the adventurer as he took out a fairly powerful magic core from his back pack and smacked it into a socket inside his axe.

The next moment , a copious amount of energy was released and the sword became covered in scorching flames

"Now you are done for...kid,I will be sure to strip your body of every valuable you have, hahaha!"

'Although the flames are dangerous, but I can take them without being burned to death,I should kill him as fast as I can and deal with the mages'

Letting an experienced guy like this alive will be a big mistake on my part, who knows what kind of shenanigans he can come up with if I give him time.

I took out a pair of cylinders from my storage and threw them at the man, it seems like he recognizes them.

They were bombs, smoke bombs to be exact, and some of the best magical tools that I came to love as I can still see my enemies because of my evolved sense skill

"Everyone, be careful, he is using smokes,don't get caught in friendly fire" he yelled

I watched as he took a stance and swung his axe in an arc getting rid of a large amount of the smoke I had sent out

'Doesnt matter, my purpose is fulfilled ' I thought as I watched the throwing knives in my hands ,glowing with a bright white light as I threw them at the mages.

"Before anyone could react, the knives cut through the air and released a sharp whistling sound, embedding themselves into the heads kf the two mages as they didn't even know they died.

The interruption of the spell cause and ignis feetus covering the place in a small explosion, sending the archers and several melee fighters flying.

I didn't waste any time and ran towards the disoriented weaker members, though the level four already saw that coming and intercepted me as the flames tried to lick at me.

I retreated backwards as I released another slash at the man ,who in turn used the axe in his hands to block my attacks,

I noticed his aura that was a light red was starting to churn in on itself and becoming dark red as time went on.

He was also able to block my attack rather easily,

'Maybe it's the berserker skill' I thought as I took stance.

Putting away my previous weapon and taking out two short daggers as I decided to use his own strength against him

" You...will pay for THIS!" He launched himself at me,the axe glowing in a red light
