So I didn't need to dirty my hands.
"Welcome dear customers, how may I help you?" a sweet voice sounded as I entered the building.
"Hmm, I am looking to sell the bodies of a few demon beasts," I told the young girl as she beamed up.
"Alright, let me guide you," she said as I followed her to one of the rooms, I half expected some kind of young master to pop up and start a meaning less trouble with me, but I guess that wasn't happening, it is better that I don't talk about it unless I raise some kind of flag.
It's been some time but from what I know, the body of a demon spirit is a treasure trove as its whole body and its blood can be used to make different types of inscriptions, alchemy pills and obviously its demon crystal can also be used to make incriptions and arrays.
Demon spirit can be used by a demon spiritualist to assimilate the said demon beast and use its powers.
"Alright sir, feel free to take out the demons beasts, our experts here will make sure that the goods are authentic and we will come to a point regarding the price."
I raised an eyebrow at that, what did she mean by checking if it's authentic, it's a freakin beast, I am pretty sure no one can copy that.
I decided not to mull over it and directly took out half the spoils for now, not counting the gold and black gold rank beasts I had.
"T-this!" the woman stuttered as she saw the constant heaps of demons being brought out.
"Is there a problem?" I asked.
"NO sir!, um, I need to go and inform our branch manager, I hope the senior forgives me," the girl didn't wait any long and left hurriedly as the previously shocked expert began checking the beasts.
"Hmm, these beasts don't have their demon crystals," he said as he started checking the goods.
"I have them kept separately, I am willing to see if I get a good enough price," I answered.
"Senior will have to talk to the manager regarding that," the old man said as he got back to checking the beasts.
"T-this!"
"What's the problem?" I asked again, a little irritated,
"These beasts...they don't have any injuries, most of them seem to have just died on their own accord" he said as he looked at me weirdly
I then realized what he was talking about, he was just checking those beasts that were lower than me in power, so they had been killed by my skills alone, unlike the others that I had to kill using my strength.
As I waited for a while, the young girl returned as she led me to another room, it was a room that was adorned with various ornaments and beautifully decorated.
I went ahead and sat on a sofa as the young girl told me that the branch manager will shortly be with me.
I nodded as she left after offering me some sort of beverage which I graciously accepted, not like poison is going to work on me, although the abnormal immunity is a skill with no level.
I enjoyed the drink as I realized it had a subtle but powerful calming effect, as I did so, time passed quickly before the one who Is supposed to be the manager came in.
"Greetings dear Friend! I am Yao Lao, branch manager of this Huyan Merchant shop, I hope I can help you and ..." the man started yapping on as I just nodded along.
I knew he didn't mean me any harm so I let him be, as I did so, I gathered the Info I had. The glory city is run by three powerful families and twelve noble families, below them are various commoner families.
"So sir, we have checked all the goods and considering that all the beasts are in mint condition, we are willing to give twenty five percent extra, more if sir will be willing to sell us the demon crystals," the man requested as he gave me a parchment that had the info of all the beast I had given them, I nodded.
The total amount I was going to get was astronomical, it's a good thing I came prepared and didn't expose my identity, I don't want to be on the lookout everytime I want to relax.
The guy was also smart enough not to question my identity.
I nodded at him as I brought out a simple ring, it had enough space and contained all the demon crystal of those beasts I had given to him.
After checking the contents I was given another parchment.
I had now gained a substantial amount.
