Concerned

Eileen had been invited to play whist with some other ederly ladies on the ferry. They would probably play until the wee hours of the morning. Ari was tired and declined, she would at least have the privacy of the bedroom to herself.

For a little while to unwind from the traumatic events. That happened earlier that day. What she hadn't counted on was Marino escorting her to her bedroom. Outside it had started to rain heavily.

Normally storms didn't bother her so much but she still felt overwhelmed and her brain felt like mush at the second wave of the rumbling sounds of thunder she closed her eyes tightly. She knew that Marino was watching her actions keenly and it unnerved her that he said nothing.

Marino was concerned about her and if he saw her losing her marbles it would just worry him more and she didn't need his pity. She shouldn't think of her mother right now, she shouldn't!
