Who am I?

"A small girl was running towards a cave while her mother was busy doing chores in her home. The girl stopped near the mouth of the cave and looked at the cave. There was nothing there, except pitch darkness and solemnity. The girl was looking at the cave silently as a voice ringed in her head, "Come inside. Know your identity. I'm your friend, don't be afraid of me." The girl slowly walked towards the cave as a hand came from the cave and pulled her inside."

Alice Cooper suddenly fell from her bed and hit her head on the floor mat. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the floor. She slowly raised up and walked towards the bathroom still half asleep and yawning. She took her toothbrush and put some paste on it and wet the bristles with water and started brushing. Her eyes fell on the mirror and she saw her nose was a little red as her nose took most of the impact of her recent fall. She rubbed it and then walked towards her bed, scratching her head gently. She took a long yawn and then opened the cupboard and took out her uniform. It was the first day of school opening after the summer vacation and she was eager to reconnect with her friends. She took her phone from the charging and turned it on. She tied her hair in a bun and then took out her clothes and put it in the bucket.

She unlocked her phone and saw various overly exciting messages popping up on the screen. She dialed a number and then went inside the bathroom and drenched herself into the tub. The other end received the call and said, "Hey, Alice. Good morning." Alice said, "Good morning, Trisha. I hope you are ready for the first day of school." Trisha said, "I really wanted to come, but Jack is currently holding me in his arms and I don't want to leave his arms till tomorrow." Alice asked, "Jack?" Trisha replied, "My new boyfriend." Alice asked, "What happened with Ryder?" Trisha replied, "He doesn't know about it and he shouldn't know about it anyway. Promise me, you won't tell him." Alice smiled, "Did I ever backstabbed you?" Trisha said, "Thanks and if mom asks about me. Tell her that I'm still with you." Alice disconnected the call and sighed, "Let's listen from the another girl in my life." She dialed a number, but it didn't connect. Alice put her phone aside and immersed herself in the tub and then quickly hopped out and quickly wore her uniform and ran downstairs.

On seeing Alice, her mother Rachel cried, "Sit down on the table and eat your breakfast." Alice wanted to deny, but her empty stomach didn't let her. She sat on the table and started eating her food, as her step father, Ethan asked, "Do you want a lift to your college?" Alice smiled, "No, you must be in a hurry. I don't want to disturb you." Ethan said softly, "Okay. But, be quick. Your class will start in half an hour." Alice looked at the clock and quickly thrusted the bread in her mouth and ran towards the door. Rachel came near the table and said, "Give her some time. She is still trying to overcome from the fact that her father is no more. She will eventually adjust with the reality and one call you father." Ethan sighed, "It's been almost three years since Marcus died and she still thinks that I'm responsible for his death." Rachel patted his shoulder and said, "She is still a child. I will talk with her and will make her understand."

Ethan gave a smile and said, "Okay, darling. I'm already a little late for the trip. I will meet you after a week." He kissed Rachel and went away. Rachel looked at him and then went inside the kitchen. Alice's father, Marcus and Ethan used to work together in a laboratory researching on the ancient history of the world and discovering new facts about it. Marcus was senior to Ethan and was the head of the project on which they were assigned to study the ancient tribes of the world. All was going well, when suddenly a storm arrived and Marcus got lost in the storm and his body was found weeks later near a cave. His whole body was pale with not a single drop of blood in it and some say that some strange creatures of the wild has made him their food. The project was declared dangerous and eventually banned. Ethan and the remaining team somehow managed to keep their jobs, with Ethan finally gaining his position back and marrying Rachel as a support to his old friend's family. Alice never took Ethan as her father and stayed aloof from Ethan whenever possible. Ethan never felt any grief as he himself has lost his father at a young age and he knows how the child psychology works. Rachel saw Ethan's honesty and love for her and she respected him for it.

Alice stopped near the gate of the college and took a long breath. She paid the cab driver and went inside the compound. The security guard said, "The class today is canceled due to majority of students demanding a day off today." Alice went inside the college and saw that most of the classes were empty and the sound of cheering was coming from the indoor stadium. Alice went towards the stadium and entered inside, where there were many people cheering the name "Rocky". Alice pushed her way ahead and saw that Rocky and Ryder were fighting each other like mad dogs. Rocky was the local bully here and also the boyfriend of Cindy Watwell, the daughter of business tycoon, Carter Watwell. She is that type of person who likes to show her might of wealth on others and expecting them to be her servants. Rocky was the same like her and like to brawl with anyone who doesn't lower their eyes on seeing him. Ryder and Rocky always fights on every small detail, especially when Rocky calling Trisha a 'whore'. Alice looked at Cindy who was not even looking at them fighting and was busy cutting her nails. As usual, Ryder fell on the ground unconscious and Rocky went away giving him a pity look. Eventually, the crowd dispersed and Alice went running towards Ryder and sprinkled some water on his face. Ryder slowly opened his eyes and looked at Alice and asked, "Where is Trisha?"

Alice smiled, "Don't worry about her. She is just enjoying a little longer vacation." Alice slowly helped Ryder to the stands and slowly wiped up the blood from his face and said, "You are quite weak than Rocky, who is a state level mixed martial arts champion. Then, why do you always fight with him?" Ryder said, "I don't feel any joy in getting thrashed by him, but he always calls my Trisha an unfaithful whore. I can withstand any insult, but can't hear one single ill word about her." Alice said, "Go home, Ryder. You need some rest." She patted his shoulder and went away. Everyone in the college knows about Trisha's nature and tries to warn Ryder about her, but Ryder never listens to anyone and always end up getting into a scuffle with that person. Alice always rebukes Trisha for cheating on such a nice guy to which Trisha casually says that it her age of fun and enjoyment and if Ryder is an emotional fool to believe in true love, it is not her fault.

Alice was walking through the hall when a girl came and hugged her from behind. Alice looked back and said, "So, you have finally got time to meet your childhood friend." Elena smiled, "Sincere apologies for not picking up your call earlier. I was busy trying to catch the bus to college. Anyway, how was your vacation?" Alice hugged her and said, "You were busy posting photos of your paternal house all summer and have literally forced me to like every photo of yours. So, you know how my vacation was." Elena smiled and said, "You are my best friend. Its your duty to like every photo of mine as soon as I post it. Anyway, what's the matter with Ryder?" Alice replied, "The same as always." Elena said angrily, "That bitch Trisha is ruining this poor soul's life. Why don't she leave him?"

Alice said, "Because she will find no one like Ryder ever again. But, why do you care about him so much?" Elena giggled, "Don't act unaware. You know the reason." Alice laughed, "You love Ryder, Ryder loves Trisha and Trisha is Trisha. What a dilemma and people say that everyone is equal in the eyes of God." Elena smiled, "Let it be. Let's get going." Alice and Elena went towards the canteen, where Cindy and her friends were sitting. On seeing Alice, Cindy said, "Hey, Alice. Go and bring noodles for me." Alice said, "Tell your bitches to serve you." Cindy rose and came near her and said, "Just because I don't say you something, you think that you are superior than me?" Alice said, "Just because I don't say you something, you think I'm inferior than you?" Elena pulled Alice away and said, "Don't get into a fight with her. It's a waste of time to argue with such morons." Alice gulped down her anger and said, "We are in some hurry today. We will serve you some other day." Alice was about to leave, when Cindy pulled her shirt and said, "You will serve me today and right now, you understand." Alice was about to say something, when the principal, Shelby Shepherd came inside and said, "Cindy Watwell, meet me in the office." Cindy looked at Alice and then stomped away. Alice and Elena slowly gathered their food and went outside the campus.

Alice said, "This Cindy is getting arrogant and cruel day by day." Elena said, "Of course, she will. Her father is running for the mayoral election and has the highest probability of winning." Alice looked at Elena and said, "We cannot let Cindy go like this. Today, Principal Shepherd saved the day, but what about the future? We have to show Cindy her place." Elena smiled, "Okay, my warrior princess. We will show Cindy whatever you want, but now please let me enjoy the time with you." Alice said, "I wish I could do that but I have to go home early as mom is going to her mother's house in Alabama and I have to stay in home for two weeks." Elena sighed, "I thought we could have fun as I had a day off." Alice said, "I think a little bit of delay won't hurt anyone." Elena and Alice went inside a cab and went towards the amusement park as the day slowly started to come to an end...
