The Second War of West: Part Two

Aliyah quickly ran upstairs and stopped near the entrance. She chanted some mantra and started to levitate. Gongamtei came from behind and caught her leg and started biting it with his teeth. Aliyah started kicking him on the face with her heavy shoes, but he kept grasping the leg tightly. Aliyah had no option but to thrust the spear in Ryder's shoulder and when his grip loosened, she hitted him on the head with the blunt end of the spear. Ryder fell and soon became a dot. Aliyah landed on the roof and saw that her shin was bleeding heavily. She teared a cloth from one of the dead soldiers clothes and wrapped it around the injured area. She then slowly but steadily walked inside the palace. She saw that all the soldiers there were lying dead and she saw that Vexana was standing there with blood all over her body. Aliyah smiled, "I didn't know that you are such a good fighter." Vexana smiled, "Once, we get from here safely, we will discuss over how it actually happened." Aliyah and Vexana ran towards the door and broke it.

Thousands of soldiers came running towards them and they tightly grasped their weapons and chopped their way through them. They ran towards the second floor and found orcs waiting for them with axes and swords. Aliyah said, "There are much more soldiers here than we expected before." Vexana said nervously, "Krymon must have sensed our plan and stationed a good amount of his soldiers here beforehand." The orcs were about to attack on them, when hundreds of green arrows came flying and punctured the orcs's throats. Aliyah and Vexana looked at the direction and saw a man with large ears and a green hood slowly walking towards them. He pulled his hood and Aliyah and Vexana smiled and hugged him, "Elgin." Elgin smiled, "Did you miss me girls? And weren't you were killed in the First War of West, Vexana?" Vexana said sadly, "Actually, I'm her daughter." Elgin asked, "Who is your father?" Vexana said, "I don't know." Elgin said grimly, "Whoever he was, he would have been proud of you today." Vexana gave a weak smile. Aliyah said annoyed, "We have a war to win, guys. Chop chop." Everyone ran towards the third floor and threw smoke balls on the floor and then slowly opened each door and looked for Elena and Trisha. But, they were nowhere to be found. They ran towards the fourth floor and saw that the soldiers there were already dead.

A familiar voice came from behind, "I hope you like my arrangements." They turned and saw Gongamtei there. His left arm was heavily damaged and half of his face was disfigured from the fall. He said angrily, "Enough of these childish scuffles. I will end your tales forever at once." He jumped and threw a punch at Aliyah and she fell on the ground and her nose and cheek broke.

Elgin jumped and caught him in a hold, but Gongamtei threw him away and caught Vexana and started to strangle her. Aliyah jumped and thrusted her spear in his chest, but Gongamtei pulled it out and slapped Aliyah. Elgin chanted a spell and two chains emerged from the ground and caught Gongamtei. Vexana fell on the ground and started gasping for air. Aliyah took her spear and thrusted it inside Ryder's head and splitted it into two parts. Gongamtei got thrown out of the body and tried to escape but, Aliyah thrusted a special dagger inside Gongamtei's left eye and made him one-eyed. Gongamtei punched her and managed to escape. Aliyah slowly kneeled on the floor and fell unconscious. Elgin ran towards her and slapped her slowly and said, "Wake up, Aliyah. The war is still not finished." Aliyah looked at Elgin and said weakly, "Find Elena and Trisha and take them to a safe place. They shouldn't suffer. They shouldn't suffe.." She fell unconscious again.

Elgin took Aliyah on his back and ran towards a safe place. After sometime, Aliyah regained consciousness and looked at them and asked, "Did we win the war?" Elgin said, "No. We still are fighting the war." Aliyah slowly rose and said, "I need to find Aliyah's friends." Elgin said angrily, "Krymon must have hidden them somewhere so that we cannot find them and Krymon has a leverage over us." Aliyah pulled herself out of Alice's body and Alice came to her senses. She looked at Elgin and asked, "We won the war so quickly?"

Elgin smiled, "No, we are still in the war. Krymon has hidden your friends somewhere and if we advance more, he will use your friends to blackmail us." Alice said grimly, "One thing that I have learned from Aliyah in these years is that we have to sacrifice something to achieve something. I cannot be selfish and think only about my friends when the future of all the elves are at stack. No. Even if Krymon kills my friends, I will not let him get away without getting punishment for his sins." Elgin and Aliyah looked at each other and smiled. Aliyah said, "I promise you Alice. I will save Elena and Trisha no matter what." Aliyah entered Alice's body and said loudly, "For the kingdom. For the elves. We have to kill Krymon and Tammy." They tightly grasped their swords and jumped on the orcs and started slicing all of them one by one. They quickly cleared the fifth, sixth and seventh floor and reached the eighth floor, where Tammy's mercenaries were patrolling.

Aliyah looked at Elgin and Vexana and said, "If we can kill all these mercenaries, half of the war will fall in our favor." Elgin and Vexana nodded in approval. They formed a shield around them and jumped on the mercenaries and started chopping each of them with their swords. The mercenaries retaliated and started attacking them. Elgin dodged and punched a soldier and then thrusted his dagger inside his throat. Aliyah looked at her left and then threw her spear in the chest of an incoming enemy. Vexana circled and produce a poisonous liquid around her and threw it on the mercenaries. The poison slowly dissolved and the mercenaries started to cough blood and then blasted. Aliyah and Elgin got covered with their blood and looked at Vexana, who gave a smile in return. Aliyah looked around and saw that most of the mercenaries were dead, but some of them managed to escape. Aliyah ran behind them and reached the last floor and saw Lysander and Tammy standing there with their army. Elena and Trisha were lying there with their hands tied and were crying loudly.

Krymon put his hand over Elena's face and said, "If you want to see this weak bitches survive another day, drop down your guard and surrender. You cannot win this war and fighting any longer is futile." Aliyah said angrily, "Cowards like you use weak and helpless people as your shield. If you were any man, then you would have fought valiantly and not request us to surrender." Krymon said angrily, "I'm not requesting you, Aliyah. I am serious. I will kill them." Aliyah said grimly, "Kill them if you dare." Krymon laughed and sliced Elena's face. Elena started screaming and Krymon laughed, "Have you changed your mind now?" Aliyah said, "No. Never." Krymon laughed and thrusted his sword through her cheek. Elena started to scream even more. Aliyah said grimly, "You will pay for it Tammy. Krymon is using you to fulfill his nefarious intentions and will kill you the same way he killed Sophia." Tammy asked, "Who told you that Sophia is dead? She is currently pregnant and at her mother house, Valeria City." Elgin said grimly, "Don't lie, Tammy. We know all the happenings that is happening inside the palace. Don't forget, my family is in the business of knowing enemies's secrets even before you were properly born."

Tammy smiled, "You are forgetting something, Elgin. I am the king. I know what is happening in the kingdom right now. You killed Maester Taylor and escaped from the prison, when that kind soul came to give you some bread and water when he learned about the harsh punishment given to you and that you were starving from many days. Your guest, Alice killed Maester Cornwall under Aliyah's possession. You also killed King Honorus when he refused to help you in your treacherous plans and the same thing happened with his son, Jamalus too. You all are criminals and you deserve to be hanged." Aliyah and Elgin looked at him and sighed. Aliyah said, "That orc has corrupted your brain, Tamalin. He has instigated hatred and misunderstandings for us in your mind. Many years, your this stupid and gullible nature killed your father, when you two brothers betrayed my father and opened the back door for the entry of the demons. Your father was a greedy man but a honorable man and he sacrificed his life trying to protect my father." Tammy said angrily, "That's the root of all these problems. You and your family has always been the royal material and we are just born to serve you. My father and his father served your father and grandfather and you wanted the same fate for me and Jammy. I also want to sit on the throne and fuck princesses and queens, not royal second level court ladies.

I always wanted to marry your sister, Camilla but that stupid woman loved a man like Frostbite, but denied my proposal with a laughing face. You always treated me as I'm your squire or servant, when you treated Elgin, an elf with royal dignity and respect. Your arrogant mother used to give us stale bread for she didn't want to waste the leftovers, when my father used to give her the most expensive and exclusive gifts on her birthdays. I haven't forgotten anything, Aliyah. Your fake and ostentatious attitude still pains me a lot." Aliyah said, "I am truly sorry if I had troubled you in the past. But, fate has rewarded you with the royal seat, a woman like Sophia and the love and admiration of the whole kingdom. Maybe that is your tribute, your gift from Mother Manaca."

Tammy said angrily, "To hell with such a gift. I got the kingdom when it was in all ruins and poverty. I was the king of paupers and sick elves. I had to sacrifice my own share of food to feed the people who kept asking for more as I feed them. I was a young and zealous man, but the royal affairs had made me boring and short-tempered. I still remember the day when Sophia's mother, Verona came to me with a bag full of gold coins and a cart full of flour and meat. I greeted her with my outmost delicacy and hospitality, but she didn't respected it and said, "If you want to save your kingdom, then you have to marry my daughter, Sophia." I was taken aback by the offer and asked her the reason for it. She said that years ago, my father saved Sophia's father's life in some accident and out of generosity, Sophia's father promised her daughter's hand to me.

After, Sophia's father's death, the whole wealth went to the treasury and now she has to marry me to claim it. I agreed, but after our marriage the whole wealth disappeared and Verona claimed that it was stolen. I could do anything to bring it back and now I had a poor nation, an empty treasury and a beautiful wife. Fortunately, you had annihilated the orcs and the demons left our kingdom, so I had a little silver lining in my problems. I made friends with powerful people with the same ambitions and these small alliances led my way to the Orc Valley, where Krymon joined hands with me. Like every alliance, our alliance had some terms and conditions and these started to get contradictory with the ideals and principles that our forefathers established centuries ago. Shinigano and Shuken are less literate and more primitive and that's why they slowly moved away from the kingdom and returned to their old lives. I never saw anyone as foreign and tried to keep my friends and enemies alike.

But, that's where all the problems started. My old friends didn't like my new friends and after you people came suddenly, the suppressed voices started to rise and the rest is history." Aliyah said grimly, "You were never a good man and definitely not a good king. Your selfish interests has only made things bad for you. Krymon is a bad person who has accumulated his wealth by tricking and killing innocent people. He just used you to fulfill what he thought was for him and not you. He sent Verona to you because he was blackmailing her at that time because her daughter, your beloved Sophia has an illicit relationship with Krymon." Tammy said angrily, "I don't believe you." Elgin said, "Ask your dear friend then." Tammy looked at Krymon who clearly denied it and said, "My relationship with Sophia was not illicit. We were lovers and I wanted to marry her, but her mother was a slut and tricked me into fucking her.

Sophia got to know of that night and broke all ties with me. I never wanted someone else to love her or come close to her, so I persuaded Verona to fix marriage between you and Sophia so that I can keep her under my watchful eyes. I never denied nor agreed my love out of respect for both of you." Elgin asked angrily, "Then, how is she pregnant with your children, Krymon?" Everyone, including Krymon asked, "What?".....
