Back To Be Normal

Elgin was sitting outside the operation hall on a chair and was waiting patiently for Sophia's delivery. He was both nervous and afraid to confront Sophia and deliver the sad news of the annihilation of her brother, husband and her kid's father. He looked at the red light turning off and the doctor came outside and looked at Elgin and asked, "Are you her husband?" Elgin smiled, "No. But, I'm a close relative of her. Her husband couldn't come today as he met an accident and died." The doctor asked, "Then who is going to pay my fees?" Elgin said grimly, "I will. But, I want to see her properly. I cannot trust a person who is not even a little empathetic." The doctor said grimly, "Go ahead. See her. I will be waiting at the corridor." Elgin went inside and saw Sophia was lying unconscious on the bed and two kids were lying in two parallel cradles. He looked at them and saw that one of them is green, but the other one is white with blue eyes like Tammy. They both have horns and scaly skin, but were cute as well. Elgin picked both of them and took them outside. The green guy was standing there and Elgin gave him the babies and said, "Send the green one to Orc Valley and the white one's fate will be decided by Aliyah." The green guy said grimly, "We should kill them. They are just newborn and their absence won't be missed."

Elgin slapped him and said, "Don't you have some shame. How can you even think of killing these innocent babies? Do as I say." The green guy silently went away. Elgin walked towards the outside and whistled. One elf came from behind the bush and gave him two elf babies in his arms. Elgin smiled, "See what games life plays with us. These poor babies lost their father in the Second War of West and lost their mother today. But, they are going to live the life of princes and the true children of Tammy will live the life of commoners." He walked towards Sophia's room and kept the babies in the cradles and kissed Sophia's forehead. He chanted a mantra and two talismans appeared in mid air. He tied them around the babies's necks and went outside. He walked towards the doctor and said, "Here is your fees." He took out a pouch of coins and gave it to him. The doctor asked, "Who is she? No commoner has given me such heavy amount for the operation." Elgin smiled, "Her husband was a rich merchant." The doctor smiled and went away. Elgin created a sphere ball around him and teleported to the palace.

Alice, Elena and Trisha were sitting adjacent to each other and eating their breakfast, when Aliyah entered the room with Hilda's chopped head. All of them spilled their food out of horror and Alice asked angrily, "What type of nonsense behavior is this?" Aliyah smiled, "I wanted to show you that this woman was a great warrior, a great administrator and most importantly, a great leader. But, her wrong decisions lead to her early death and I just want to explain to you that one must be quite wise in the decisions he or she takes or wants to take. And also, I kind of felt that I should show you my little achievement. I couldn't kill her then, but now I killed her. One head off from my hit list." Alice asked, "How many more names do you still have on your "hit list"?" Aliyah said, "The difficult ones are still left. But, you all cooperate with me and finish your training in time, I can erase them too."

Elena asked, "What about the torture and disgrace we two went through? That monster Krymon raped us and chopped off Trisha's hand." Aliyah said grimly, "That's a serious problem. But, I have a solution for that too." She took out a large box and opened it. She pulled out an arm out of the box and said, "When all were busy fighting, I retrieved your hand and with Vexana's help transformed your hand into a magical hand." She went towards Trisha and joined the hand with her remaining limb and the hand magically joined. Trisha felt a little ticklish as if something inside her was just born. Trisha asked, "What feels so ticklish?" A voice came from the air, "I'm your hand, Trisha. My name is also Trisha too since I'm your hand only." Trisha said angrily, "I don't want this irritating hand. It's better to be one handed rather than carrying a voice around with me forever." Aliyah said annoyed, "I cried for such a companion all my life and you are disgracing such a wonderful gift like this. This is not some ordinary hand. It possesses magical power and will act as your bodyguard in tough times. This hand will fulfill your wishes like a genie."

Trisha looked at her hand and said, "Okay. Let's give it a try." She pointed her hand at an orange and the orange got pulled towards her hand. She again pointed at a glass and imitated a shooting gesture and the glass exploded into tiny pieces. Aliyah said, "I don't think you should do such destructive acts for fun. If not controlled, this can prove to be harmful for your loved ones." Alice said, "I saw Elgin going to the hospital today. What's the matter? Is everything okay?" Aliyah smiled, "Nothing. Sophia has gave birth to two beautiful babies today and as a brother to her, Elgin went to pay her a visit." Alice asked, "Shouldn't we go too?" Aliyah said, "I don't personally recommend it. She would be quite messy right now. Both physically and mentally. So, I think we should leave her to her state. She is a wise woman and will gradually adapt to her new reality." Alice asked, "Won't Tammy try to pay her a visit? We can nab him there." Aliyah said, "No, he won't. He is a servant of Krymon and I don't think that sly Krymon will let Tammy come to get nabbed." Elena asked, "So, when are we going home?"

Aliyah said, "Today evening. I have made all the arrangements and Elgin will create the time gap sphere and we will return to the time we left the mortal world." Alice asked, "How much time gap is there between my world and yours?" Aliyah said, "Approximately 12 years. But it can be more too. A year here is equal to 11 years and 10 monthsin the mortal world." Elena said suprised, "12 years. That's quite a long time." Aliyah smiled, "I wait for almost 500 years. Now, think how much time I spent trapped inside the spear, burning in the fire of vengeance and melancholy of losing my loved ones." Alice said, "Here comes Elgin." Elgin enters the room and saw that all of them were looking at him. Elgin said, "Sophia is good and her kids are in good health too. Fortunately, the babies are more elf than orc. They will merge with the locals quite easily." Alice asked, "Merge with thr locals? Aren't they princes?" Elgin laughed, "What princes and what royalty? Their father is a fugitive and traitor. It will be only best for them to stay low and live a life of commoners. Sophia will have some problems here and there in adjusting, but soon she will learn to adapt to her new life." Alice said, "But, she can marry the new king and become his queen."

Aliyah said, "That's won't be possible now. We are turning this kingdom into a republic. I have decided to make Vexana as the new head of the kingdom and she will choose a person to act as the president of the kingdom under her. It will still be a monarchy but the power will reside in the hands of the common people who will elect their representatives and there will be an election in every two years for the presidential candidate. I'm taking away the royal treasure with me as I cannot let my people get too infected with the riches and get corrupted like Tammy. Sophia will get a house from me as she has two babies to feed. She can remarry, get accustomed with her maternal side of family or even commit suicide like her mother. I frankly don't care. Every royal family will be stripped of all privileges and rights. Their treasure and ancestral property will be declared public and will have to pay taxes to the kingdom at an annual basis. I will appoint security personnel and an execution system for the criminals and rebels. Soon, the people will start to adapt with the improvisation of the kingdom. It's high time that they learn that too much greed always leads to disaster."

Alice asked, "What about the Shinigano and Shuken people?" Aliyah said grimly, "They won't follow these rules and regulations, so there's no point in harassing them. They are free to rule their parts as their wish. But, any trade or financial communications will fall under the trade laws and they will have to pay 18 percent of their profit to the kingdom. They would be free to buy lands and properties in the kingdom, but they would be liable to allow the elves to buy theirs too." Elena said, "Its a good idea but a little crooked at the middle. Too much weight on one side of the laws will lead to infringement and give rise to rebels. You would be no different from Tammy and Jammy."

Aliyah smiled, "You don't know politics and power as I do. You are just seeing the surface but I'm looking at the depth of the plan. I have implemented some special laws that will cease any unlawful advances from a particular tribe or portion of the population. But, you don't have to sweat your head on these matters. We would be returning to the mortal world by evening and then you can get back to your normal lives." Alice said, "Elgin. I want to discuss something with you." Elgin said, "Okay." They separated from them and Elgin asked, "What do you want to say?" Alice said, "After careful observation, I have concluded that Aliyah has gone nuts. She isn't thinking properly and will drown the kingdom deeper than Tammy did. She is a fool to brag about these absurd way of democracy she wants to implement. Vexana is a witch and I'm pretty sure that she can't do anything that an able administrator can do. She will always look upon Aliyah's advice to act upon even the smallest of decisions of the kingdom. Sophia is still a queen even if Tammy is not here.

I'm pretty sure that Tammy and Krymon will come to avenge their humiliation and also Jammy is still in the Orc Valley with thousands of orcs ready to plot against us. I don't think such a stupid and crazy person like Aliyah should be making decisions. I think you should become the new king and keep things in control here." Elgin said grimly, "That's impossible, dear. I have responsibilities in the mortal world and also don't forget that I have to teach you magic and make you ready for the war against Xao Chang. Tammy and Krymon cannot come again because they are dead. You killed them in the war. But, don't ask how. Because I will explain it to you after we return to your home." Alice said grimly, "Do anything, but don't let Aliyah's stupid ideas worsen the situation." Elgin said, "Have faith in her. She has seen more world than you and knows why some people should die and why should some live? If she thinks that Sophia is better as a poor person than she must have thought about something." Alice said, "I don't know what to say. Everyone here is thinking about the present rather than the future."

Elgin smiled, "The present decides the future. But don't worry about that. I promise that I will never let you feel ashamed or guilty for any of Aliyah's decisions." Alice said, "I still one little request. Can I go and see Sophia's babies one time? Please." Elgin said, "Okay. Before leaving, I will take you to meet them." Alice hugged him and went away. Aliyah appeared and asked, "She is becoming sensitive day by day. Isn't she?" Elgin smiled, "She is young and immature. She has a lot to learn yet. She has yet to know that you can hear whatever she is thinking or speaking because you are connected to her body and mind." Aliyah smiled, "It's not the first time I got insulted by my loved ones. You have also insulted me many a times." Elgin smiled, "What can I do? You do things that enrage people often." Aliyah rolled her eyes and smiled, "Of course. I'm the bad girl always. A poor woman who tries to save her loved ones from danger and gets insulted instead of getting gratitude. Yep, that's me."

Elgin smiled and hugged her and said, "What would have I done without you? You are the funny essence of our lives." Aliyah smiled, "Don't butter me. If Alice wants me to be a little more lenient, then I will give Sophia an easy death." Elgin said irritated, "Let that poor woman live. She has two babies now." Aliyah sighed, "Alice accuses me of thinking about the present and not about the future. But, only I think about the future. Anyway, Sophia can live and raise her sons. I will give her her husband's share of land and money to keep her honor and family safe." Elgin smiled, "Thank you very much." Aliyah asked, "Why are you thanking me?" Elgin smiled, "You won't understand."

All entered inside the sphere and took their positions. Aliyah looked at Vexana and said, "Don't hesitate to use hard action if things get out of control." Vexana smiled and hugged her. Alice, Elena and Trisha looked at the elves, Shiniganos and Shukens and waved at them. They waved back and smiled. Aliyah chanted a mantra and the door closed and the sphere started to glow red and soon elevated in the air and disappeared. Aliyah looked at Elgin and asked, "Why are you looking so worried?" Elgin replied, "Nothing. Just thinking about Jammy's son. I left him at the hands of that green guy, but for some reasons I don't feel him very trustworthy." Aliyah said, "Let them be. Jammy's son is not our priority right now. These girls have surely made some improvements from this episode in their lives. But, they still need to accelerate their training if they want to have a chance before Xao Chang and his demons. I surely don't want to lose this time too." Elgin said calmly, "Have faith in them. I know that they will surely make Xao Chang this time. That oldie has many debts to pay." Aliyah said angrily, "Yes. He does."....
