Kayuba and Bayu burned almost three-fifth of Ganzi City and still there was no sight of Licha, Leo, Halidesus or Elena. Kayuba looked at Bayu and said, "Killing innocent elves has never been so painful as it is today." Bayu smiled, "These are not innocent people. They are our enemies. They attacked us when we arrived." Kayuba said grimly, "Whatever. But, still there is no sight of Licha, Leo and Elena. We are just wasting our time here." Bayu looked at Kayuba and then saw some small kids running towards them. They had arrows in their hands but when they approached them, they put the arrows on the ground and begged for mercy. One of the kids said crying, "Our queen left us three days ago. She left with all of her people and now we are here fighting for an absent queen. Please, let us go. We don't want to die here." Kayuba looked at him and said, "Your queen left you three days ago. So, why the hell are you fighting?" One of the kids said, "Because, our elders decided that it is better to die fighting than live as a slave." Kayuba kicked the kid and said angrily, "Then. Die!" Kayuba took out a dagger and stabbed him in the neck. Kayuba said angrily, "In war, there is no change of plans. If you want to surrender, then surrender without fighting. Once, you have decided to fight, there is no option for surrender." Kayuba and Bayu killed all the kids and then disappeared.
Bayu looked at Kayuba and said grimly, "You shouldn't have killed those innocent children." Kayuba said grimly, "They were young and haven't seen the harshness of the world, so they don't understand the consequences of surrendering. It is better to die on the battlefield than live a life full of pain and suffering. Their deaths will be a lesson for the other children." Bayu said grimly, "But, still. It was evil." Kayuba said grimly, "The world is filled with evil. No one can escape from it." Bayu sighed. Soon, they reached the Elf Kingdom, where Nakamura, Kenchi and Assayah were standing. Kayuba and Bayu looked at them and stopped near them. Nakamura smirked, "Have you decided to attack today? Or are you going to delay your imminent defeat for another day?" Kayuba smiled, "Defeat? You are the one who will be defeated. Good always prevails on evil." Nakamura laughed, "Good? Which side is good? And from when did you start considering yourself on the "good" side? You are a demon made from sin and immorality. You will never be good." Kayuba smiled, "Yes. Maybe, you are right, Nakamura. I can never be good. In fact, just a couple of minutes ago I slaughtered thirteen innocent children mercilessly. Yes, I am a demon and you know what, I am proud of being one. But, you. You are filth. Born out of pain and suffering from innocent lives. You will never be equal to me." Nakamura smirked, "Equal? Who said we are equals? I am much higher than you rascals. I am the precious arrow of Xao Chang's arsenal who he values more than thousands of pebbles like you." Assayah looked at Bayu and asked, "Are you finally in peace, Bayu?" Bayu looked at him and said grimly, "My peace disappeared the day Elizabeth was killed. No power in the seven worlds can give peace to me now." Assayah said grimly, "Yes. You are right. Losing someone whom you loved the most in the world certainly disrupts all the peace and happiness in life and pushes you into an endless void of misery and guilt. I didn't understand it earlier but when Samantha died, I could easily sense the sorrow and regret in your heart, my son." Bayu said grimly, "It's too late for that, Master. Nothing will change ever now. Bloodshed and violence is the only future we have now and it will be better if we realize it sooner." Assayah sighed and walked away towards his tent. Kenchi looked at Kayuba and said, "Xao Chang considered you his best soldier and yet you betrayed him and all of us. Why?" Kayuba said grimly, "You know the answer perfectly." Kenchi said grimly, "The answer is half. I want to listen to your half." Kayuba smiled grimly, "My half is filled with blood and misery. It's better to not hear it." Kenchi said grimly, "You won't win, Kayuba. No one will. No one. Aliyah, Elgin and Alice all are going to die in the war. Remember that, brother. The prophecy has been made." Kenchi sighed and walked towards the tent. Nakamura smirked, "Considering your current chances of winning, it will be much better if you just cut off your head and throw it in my feet." Kayuba smiled, "Why don't you cut it yourself? Are you afraid?" Nakamura smiled, "Afraid, my foot! I will cut your head and before that I will show you the face of defeat." Nakamura smirked and walked away. Kayuba and Bayu looked at each other and walked inside the palace.
Safi and Phantom were sitting at a table, sipping coffee when they saw Kayuba and Bayu walking towards them. Bayu smiled, "Enjoying coffee. I see." Phantom said grimly, "The enemy is not attacking, so we decided to at least keep ourselves caffeinated." Kayuba smiled, "Good decision." Kayuba sat near Phantom and kept his right hand on his shoulder, "So, how are my, son?" Phantom looked at Kayuba and smiled weakly, "The same as you left me after brutally killing my dreams of a happy family." Kayuba said grimly, "It was unanimous decision and it was the best for everyone." Phantom said grimly, "It was a unanimous decision to be heartless too yet you decided to separate from them. That time, this revolution could have saved my love life." Kayuba said grimly, "You never had a love life. It was all a hoax. An illusion. Rachel would have never loved you the same after knowing about your real identity." Phantom asked, "Who knows what she would have done? Maybe, she would have accepted my love and also my difference. But, you never let any of that happen." Kayuba rose up and said, "The past cannot be changed, Phantom. It will be better for everyone to forgive each other and start from a new end." Phantom said grimly, "The one who suffered doesn't forget so easily. When it happens to you, you will understand." Kayuba sighed, "You don't even have an iota of knowledge of the things I did for your happiness. If you have known, you would have never said such hurtful things." Phantom remained silent and finished his coffee and disappeared. Safi looked at both Kayuba and Bayu and said, "I don't know what the tension is between you guys and quite frankly, I don't even want to know. But, please don't let your emotions come in between the delicate matters of war. It will not be good for any of us." Kayuba and Bayu looked at him and smiled.
The massacre that Aliyah, Elgin and Vexana did in Leo's room reached Licha and Vera's ears. Licha said grimly, "I told you to keep them in separate cells. But, you kept them in the same cell." Vera said grimly, "I kept them together so they can spend their last moments together in pain and suffering. Who knew they would escape?" Licha slapped Vera and said, "Are you an idiot? Aliyah is the woman who fought with Xao Chang without proper strategy, training, experience or even without enough weapons and you thought she would break down like a weakling and spend her "last" moments in pain and suffering. You are totally a destructive force for everyone. Mother was right to kick you out." Vera said grimly, "Aliyah is out there thirsty for our blood and we are wasting our time arguing between us. Let's go and find her." Licha said grimly, "And do what? Kill her? Going after her is utter madness and I am not a mad woman like you." Vera said angrily, "I am not going down in history as a person who ran away in the face of danger and that too, a ghost." Licha said, "Do whatever you want, but consider me out." Vera smiled, "Fine. Then, run back to Ganzi City. I hope you will find comfort amongst the dead and burning bodies." Licha looked at Halidesus who said, "I think Vera is right. There is no point running any longer. We have to face Aliyah sooner or later, so why not face now. At least we have immunity now." Licha asked, "What immunity?" Halidesus said grimly, "If we win against her, we will be called warriors and even if we don't win against her and die, we will be called matyrs rather than cowards." Licha smiled grimly, "Fighting in a war without any winning chances is not brevity. People will remember us as idiots." Vera said grimly, "It's better to be called an idiot than a coward." Vera took her sword and walked towards the room. Licha also took her sword and walked behind her. Halidesus looked at Raya and said, "We have to use stealth against them if we want to win." Raya finished his porridge and said, "Stealth is not going to work against Aliyah. But, wise decisions are still a better bet." Halidesus said, "Elgin and Vexana are going to stay together with Aliyah unless we could create a diversion." Raya gulped down his wine and asked, "What diversion?" Halidesus smiled, "A diversion made up of flesh and bone." Halidesus disappeared. Raya rose and tightened his belt and said, "I got to stop eating so much. My weight is seriously high." He belched and walked outside holding a double sided axe.
Aliyah and Elgin were walking slowly towards the room of Licha, when a heavy sword slashed in front of them. Two guards ran towards them but they easily chopped off their heads and walked forward. Elgin whispered, "Vexana shouldn't be inside the gas pipe. It is too dangerous for her." Aliyah said, "It doesn't matter. She is a warrior and she shouldn't think of dangers." Elgin sighed and they walked towards the room of Licha, slaughtering any guard that came in front of them. They reached the room and broke it. They walked inside and saw that no one was there. Aliyah said grimly, "They ran away. Bloody fugitives!" Elgin looked at the blood coming from the sides of the door. He turned around and a dagger pierced his left elbow. Aliyah turned quickly and saw Licha and Vera running towards her with swords. Aliyah rolled and slashed Licha's left arm and threw a dagger in Vera's right thigh. Vera plucked the dagger out of her thigh and smiled, "These petty tricks won't hurt me, woman." Vera swung her sword against Aliyah, but Licha stopped it with her sword. Elgin stood up and said, "We could have lived in harmony, sisters. Yet, you two decided to betray me and the whole of Namaria." Licha said angrily, "We didn't betray anyone. We did what was necessary. Small cities require good rulers, but mega empires like Namaria need rulers like us, who have the courage to take drastic steps for the welfare of Namaria." Aliyah said angrily, "Lie. A big fat lie. You are greedy, manipulating nonsense criminals who have no interest in the welfare of Namaria. You just want to fill in your pockets." Vera smirked, "Say whatever you want. Once you are dead, our words will be the only truth." She threw a dagger on her, but she dodged it. She swung her sword at her and soon a clash of swords started between Licha, Vera and Aliyah. Aliyah rolled and slashed Licha's left ear and in another slash cut Vera's small finger. Elgin couldn't do anything as he cannot attack his siblings as Namarian tradition prohibits siblings from killing each other. He stood there as Aliyah attacked Vera and Licha. Vera took her small dagger and thrust it inside Aliyah's groin and Licha took the opportunity to cut Aliyah's left cheek. Licha smiled and was about to chop off her head when Vexana lit the gas pipe and a huge blast occurred inside the room. All of them were thrown away by the blast. Elgin's left arm was split into half and Aliyah lost her left ear and half of her shoulder flesh. Vexana was badly burned but still was breathing. Licha and Vera were also very badly hurt. Vera's left leg was cut badly and two of her teeth broke. Licha was more affected due to her being close to the gas pipe. Her both hands were burnt badly and her whole stomach was missing. Vera looked at Licha's dead body. Aliyah looked at Vera, who was crawling slowly towards her with a small piece of glass. Aliyah gathered all her strength and took out the gun. She pointed it at Vera. Vera smiled at her imminent death and said, "Ves Me Tai Moi Luei." Aliyah smiled and shot her in the head. Elgin, Vexana, and Aliyah lay on the floor unconscious as all of the Namaria were on high alert. Raya and Halidesus ran away as soon as they saw Licha and Vera lying dead on the floor. They had no time to check whether Aliyah, Vexana, and Elgin were dead or just unconscious. They ran away as the civilians of Namaria entered the palace and saw the dead bodies.....
