The Blood Ritual: Part Two

Aliyah was standing near the door, smoking a cigarette when Elgin walked inside and looked at her. He waved his hand and said, "Standing here and smoking won't solve the problems, Aliyah. Do something quickly. We have to perform the Blood ritual before Xao Chang's arrival." Aliyah threw the cigarette away and said grimly, "You heard what Mayakin said. How can I perform the marriage between Rachel and Phantom? Rachel is with Xao Chang and even if she weren't, she would not have agreed to marry a demon like Phantom. Alice is unconscious and I cannot make such an important decision without her approval." Aliyah was standing near the door, smoking a cigarette when Elgin walked inside and looked at her. Aliyah threw the cigarette away and said grimly, "You heard what Mayakin said. How can I perform the marriage between Rachel and Phantom? Rachel is with Xao Chang and even if she weren't, she would not have agreed to marry a demon like Phantom. Alice is unconscious and I cannot make such an important decision without her approval." Elgin said grimly, "Her health depends on this decision. If she doesn't recover soon, there will be nothing that we can do for her. In fact, we will not be able to do anything for anyone in her absence." Aliyah sighed, "Even if that problem gets solved, the biggest problem is how will we release Rachel? She is Xao Chang's captive and we cannot do anything for it. Alice is the only one who can fight him and make an even opponent against him. How will we defeat Xao Chang without her?" Elgin said grimly, "Xao Chang is not in the Monastery right now and if that is true indeed then we can easily attack the Monastery and release Rachel." Aliyah said grimly, "The Monastery is not a park, where we will enter and take Rachel and run away like nothing ever happened." Elgin said grimly, "That is our best bet right now. Kayuba and Bayu perfectly know the Monastery and therefore can help us find the place where Rachel is kept captive." Aliyah sighed, "If that is the "best bet", then we will try it." Aliyah and Elgin walked towards the hall and looked at guys sitting there. Kayuba looked at them and asked, "So, what decision have you two made?" Aliyah said grimly, "There will be an attack on the Monastery and we will make it subtly." Kayuba smiled, "Attack on Monastery is not a child's play, Aliyah. The Monastery is filled with thousands and spells and is guarded by the powerful giants of Hell. Again, Xao Chang will be there. Even if everyone claims that Xao Chang is here, I won't believe it. He will not come here unless he gets verified information from his subordinates that the Blood ritual is going on. He will not waste his time fighting here in such petty battles." Elgin said grimly, "We have to take that risk. There is no other option. You and Bayu perfectly know the ways of the Monastery and will show us where Rachel is kept captive." Bayu said, "It is a very dangerous endeavour and will need much more than just bravery and madness. I need two days to prepare. I, once almost broke the walls of the Monastery and was about to destroy the Royal seat, but Assayah and Kenchi intervened and I was unsuccessful in that attack." Kayuba said grimly, "The walls of the Monastery aren't impregnable, but only the most powerful ones can break it. Bayu needed three days to break the walls, but you guys would need even more. Maybe, more than a week or in the worst case, more than a month." Vexana said, "Bayu can break the walls for us. It won't be hard for him to do it again." Kayuba and Bayu laughed. Kayuba smiled, "He is not some ram that can just run and break the wall in half. That time, intense hate and anger combined with his power made that possible. This time, he is just calm like an ocean." Aliyah smiled, "Then, stir up a storm and wash away it at the Monastery." Bayu said, "Okay. But, there is still some problem in that too. The problem is that there is a place in the Monastery called the Royal seat, where the head of the Monastery sits. The power within the seat blocks the attackers and protects the Monastery from any harm." Aliyah said grimly, "We will do whatever we have to do. But, there is no point in sitting idle here." Aliyah rose and walked away. Elgin looked at Kayuba and Bayu and said, "Tell me something about the Monastery." Kayuba and Bayu looked at each other and sighed.

Kayuba looked at Elgin and said grimly, "The Monastery is divided into four parts. One part belongs to the ones who manage the Monastery like Bacca, Xao Chang and recently Kenchi. The second part belongs to the ones who are elite like me, Assayah and Kenchi. The third part belongs to the ones who serve the first part, that means the guards and the brutal monotonous army of the Hell. The fourth part is the most tricky one. No one knows where it is and what is there. I never dared to go there and I don't think anyone ever did. The place might be the place where Rachel is. So, entering there is practically impossible and only two people know what is there. Xao Chang and Nakamura." Elgin asked, "Why Nakamura?" Kayuba said grimly, "Because of his sycophant nature. He somehow got to enter and exit the fourth part of the Monastery. But, I don't think he is an accurate person to talk about the fourth part." Elgin asked, "So, what should we do?" Bayu said, "The fourth part is a part of the Monastery and therefore there is nothing we can do without destroying the first three. The first and second parts are empty and only the third part is crowded. So, why not attack the third part and claim victory?" Elgin said grimly, "If they are guards of Hell, we have to be more careful?" Kayuba curled his lips and said, "It's the only way that seems possible." Elgin said, "Then, we will attack tonight." Kayuba and everyone looked at him and nodded their heads in approval.

Elgin, Kayuba, Bayu and Aliyah were standing in front of the Monastery. Aliyah said grimly, "Whenever Vexana is needed the most, she is absent. I am fed up with this lady." Elgin said, "She is needed more in the Elf Kingdom than here. Anyway, this is a surprise attack. The less people will make it more subtle." Elgin and Kayuba slowly walked towards the Monastery and produced a big net of magic energy. Bayu pulled all his power and hate for the Monastery in himself and then produced a strong wave of red energy and threw it on the wall of the Monastery. The walls trembled and small fissures appeared on the walls, but the Monastery remained silent. After, seven tries, the wall finally fell down and thousands of skeleton guards ran towards them with swords and axes. Aliyah and Elgin provided the front shield and Kayuba and Bayu pushed the back and attacked the incoming guards. Elgin and Aliyah entered the Monastery and saw Gayumb standing there. Kayuba and Bayu looked at him and clenched their teeth. A demon from Hell being the ruler of the Monastery is beyond repair. Xao Chang must have gone mad to anoint Gayumb as the ruler of the Monastery in his absence." Gayumb looked at them and smiled, "So, I have heard. Some small pests are trying to infect the Monastery in the absence of the great Xao Chang." Aliyah smiled, "Move away, fatso or else we will infect you too like your soldiers." Gayumb took his long claw sword and ran towards them. Aliyah tried to resist but the weight of the sword pushed him away and threw him at a distance. After some time, Elgin and Kayuba also joined but nothing good happened. Gayumb was the king of Hell after all. Aliyah gathered all her power and transferred it into a big sphere and threw it away at Gayumb. Gayumb was trapped in the sphere but Aliyah collapsed. Kayuba tried to pick up Aliyah, but Elgin said, "She is keeping Gayumb trapped with her soul power. Let her be like this. A dead person cannot die again." Kayuba, Elgin and Bayu ran towards the second room and finally the third room.

The third room was filled with blood and bones lying here and there. Kayuba said lightly, "There is something strange here. Be careful." Just as they were about to turn, three thousand bodies jumped on them. Elgin and Bayu managed to run, but Kayuba got surrounded by those merciless creatures. Kayuba screamed, "Run away. I will handle them." Elgin and Bayu looked at each other and ran towards Kayuba. They formed a shield and managed to kill some creatures. The creatures kept running towards them and they managed to kill them. Elgin and Bayu lost too much blood and were about to die when a red sphere entered the room and started burning all the creatures. The creatures screamed in pain and agony and Kayuba, Bayu and Elgin looked at the spear. A red sphere emerged from the window and took the form of a lady. Elgin bowed before her. Kayuba and Bayu kneeled down and lowered their heads. The lady was Mother Manaca. Many years ago, when Xao Chang formed the Monastery the blood that he used was Mother Manaca's. He stole a good amount of blood from the Manaca temple and put it inside the Monastery. Mother Manaca lost her power when the creatures from Hell captured her, but when Elgin, Kayuba and Bayu killed a good amount of the creatures, Mother Manaca became active. She appeared and burned all the creatures down. The lady walked towards the fourth part and her body provided a light for Elgin, Kayuba and Bayu to the place where Rachel was kept. Mother Manaca entered into Rachel's body and the chains melted. Rachel looked at them and said, "The Blood ritual has to be done as soon as possible. Xao Chang is near and he is much more powerful than ever." Rachel walked outside and saw Gayumb was stomping Aliyah's body. Rachel took the spear and impaled Gayumb. Gayumb fell on the ground and turned into ashes. Rachel blew air on Aliyah's head and she woke up. Aliyah looked at Rachel and said, "You have finally returned. Mother Manaca." She touched her feet and tears of joy fell from her eyes. Aliyah rose up and hugged her. Rachel stomped on the ground and the whole Monastery started to tremble. The walls started to fall and the Monastery slowly turned into just a pile of debris. Aliyah, Elgin, Bayu and Kayuba finally reached the Elf Kingdom. Rachel looked around and said, "The place is now filled with gore and the smell of sin and violence." Aliyah said grimly, "The greed and obscurity of a proper leader has made the place a place of sin." Rachel smiled, "Okay. I will see. Your leadership is definitely not as effective as you see." Aliyah pouted and walked away. Rachel and Elgin entered inside the room where Alice is sleeping. Alice's body started to heal and her face started getting younger. Rachel sat near her and said, "Her body is evolving. She is getting stronger." Jovelinus smiled, "Yes. I am glad you came." Rachel smiled, "I had to. Xao Chang is going to wake Xao Lin and therefore my arrival was eminent." Rachel rose and walked towards her room, saying, "The marriage is going to happen tomorrow. Be ready." She walked away as everyone looked at them and smiled...
