Synopsis:

In a fantasy world ruled by kings and queens possessing great magical power, Kant Icurus Maybale is the only prince on the Aceaton Continent who does not possess magic. However, what he does possess, that nobody else does, is his past memories of the time when he was a Mechanical Engineer on Earth. With nothing but knowledge, brains, and wisdom, he dares to bring this medieval-esque fantasy world into the industrial era, and gain unimaginable wealth and power. Along the way, powerful forces that feel threatened by his rise in dominance will do whatever it takes to bring him down! Will he be able to conquer the continent, and potentially the world, to usher in a new age, or will he get crushed by the existing world order?

The Mechanical Era

While Mrs. Myers was in Middletown, doing her housewife work, Carlo was at the center of downtown, wearing his cotton cloak, walking over the paved roads of the Downtown area of Hoverdam.

He had been told to look around the city, to get to familiarize himself with his new home. He, and the other members of his organization. He had traveled to all corners of the city, with the Downtown being his last stop before he meets up with his buddies in a designated location.

During his tour of the wealthy city, he noticed a few things. First, the quality of air decreased as he travel further inland into the city, with the area with the smoggiest and dirtiest air of them all being the 'Industrial District 1'.

The second was the rise of this new architectural and fashion style of 'Arteco'. The third and final difference was the increasing appearance of convenience items in the markets, at a cheap price.
