CHAPTER 3:SWEET AND BITTER DEN

Raven stand up while the principal go to her desk, they both shake hands before sitting "once again, good morning Mr. Renastere, as you know I'm Ms. Rebecca Ramirez the School principal. I know your wondering why did I call you here all of the sudden" a scripted lines start by the principal "yes ma'am! I was here to hear you out. Did i do something that needs the principal's attention?" this conversation is already over for Raven, he already knows how this meeting flow and the true intention of the urgent call "but please ma'am make it quick the class is already started" Raven arrived 5 minutes before the class start, while the principal arrived 10 minutes after the class "you don't have to worry about that, i already have called your subject teacher about it" Raven keep he's guard on high alert, he knows that the purpose of the conversation is to make his reputation go frangible "wow ma'am! I'm surprised your single when you know how to date a man forcefully!" the principal giggle by his humorous line "anyway, enough of the joke, I'm here to personally tell you about your request of room transfer" the principal's seriousness gives pressure through the room. "for the last time, your request was declined and you wont be given an another chance to file a complaint request, so you better just accept it. Either way, where ever room you will be destined, the school will still provide you the education you need, we promise you, we won't let your talent and skills not reach its peak." a scripted lines only came out throughout her mouth, her lines was so generic but she's giving a professional approach, which makes her sounds like genuine person. "ahhmmm.... Ma'am Principal I'm perfectly sure I wrote the reasons from my complaint letter why I didn't want to, i was hoping you're not ignoring my mental health here!" Raven innocently speak his battle without trying to win the situation. "Mr. Renaste we assure you that we're not doing anything that would make your health ill, we're only doing this cause we saw the potential inside of you that we want to polish." while she's saying that, Raven sensed something wrong, he thought that he might missing or forgetting something which is not part of he's current analysis towards his present situation.

(I'm being watch am i") Raven finally understand everything, as they talk, he can sense someone watching them from somewhere, he can't sense their exact location for a closed space, which means their being watched over a hidden camera, ("now come to think of it, I can see three lenses hiding and blending all over the place, I see so this is how it is!")

"To tell you the truth Mr. Renaste, I was happy that your the student that the table choose, because if it was a different student, I might use(abuse) all my power to expell that student!" A sudden and informal words came out from her which purpose is to manipulate him by the sudden elevation of his feeling that for Raven only broaden her plan "As you know Mr. Renaste my niece is your classmate! And her parents asked me to look over her. So when they open the program which your under, I was so nervous that something might happen to her because she will be with a man that was completely stranger to all of us." she talk so genuine like she mean it, but if only she's not talking to Raven she wouldn't be find out. Raven know she was lying, it's unscripted yet so dry. He bet they don't even talk to each other, he's not so sure about that "look over her" part but for him it's not so important part of the matter, because whither he's right or wrong he's pretty sure it won't change the fact that they're after him.

"But you don't have to worry about it Mr. Renaste, I trust you intirely! Just don't make me regret it, ok" ("here she is again") Raven keep he's posture in cause he know he's still being watch from a distance "So! How's your class? Atleast your happy because your sorrouded by beautiful classmates." A smiling expression and happy tune of words mountain over her sentences, she's keeping her plan to elevate over and over Raven's feelings "Ahhmmm.... Ma'am my answer is no! With all of your respect even I'm with this situation you consider lucky I guess, I will mostly will be pleased if you consider me to transfer a room. If, you, won't, mind..." Raven answered like a scared child.

"Well, actually Mr. Renaste I called you here for this very reason" The Return Of the principal's formality indicates a danger for Raven, he already knew this is something he should avoid no matter what "this school collect donations from many random person and that donations are being used for scholar's daily necessities and many more like the rooms the buildings and supplies for your study and research" Raven knew it was just a lie, he knows many dark secret about the school, like the donors; no random donors are allowed to donate the school, all the donors should be from a large companies and they should donate regularly. "And congratulations Mr. Renaste their is some people who are interested to help you with your scholarship directly." this kind of thing should only start after the first exam, but as it seems like, their are people that are already eager to chain him up "Fortunately for you! There are twenty-one RANDOM person who wants to help you, and here's one thing, I'm not giving you their contact to choose which of them in fact as your Principal, I personally talked to them yesterday to make them all agree to become your sponsors" The Principal is so good at convincing people that it's easy to overhear her lies like the "talk to them part" Raven observed the intire campus yesterday and the Principal only did is managing her paperwork and the fact that she's already done today only explains that she has just only one job that she did yesterday. The Principal hand over the contact number and he read them one by one, and not to his surprise, that man in black suit is one of them and they are all not random but Raven is sure the mastermind is not one of them "Thank you very much ma'am, I really appreciate your effort, but I have to think about this over and over and also, I have to know them first before I decide" Innocent child like responds from Raven "Ohh OK! What a waste! But I'm telling you, before you decide, first! You have to inform me about it that contact number I gave you will be in use only after you accept them as your sponsors!" The Principal didn't try to force Raven to accept the invitation, she knows it would be hard to regect the offer if Raven will knows the luxury of accepting the offer.

They both end the meeting as the Principal is already done with her purpose, so Raven stand up walking lowly while acting like confused and troubled. And as he's about to open the door "By the way Mr. Renaste! If you accept the offer, you would be given an allowance worth of morethan three million dollars a month! I think your minimum allowance would be three million seven hundred thousand dollars monthly! So you better think wisely." Her words of irresistible provocation finally came out " but if I were you I would accept it. Because if you do your allowance would be much bigger than my paycheck! Just saying." Raven react like he's so troubled as he open the door to leave.

Right after he close the door the Principal immediately contact someone over her phone "Sir! I call to inform you that I'm already done it giving him, now the next is up to him if he accept the offer.... Yes Sir I did my best to convince him... No Sir I don't think it would be a problem... OK Sir... Thank you Sir." Little did she know Raven heard them clearly, now Raven starting to arrange everything as he think how to make a way to avoid trouble. Raven recognized those people who want to be his sponsor, it's true they're from different kind of companies and some of them are not the leader from their respective businesses but all of them are connected secretly. They are all linked to a certain person and that person is also the Principal called right after he left.

Raven return to his room afterward, their conversation almost reach an hour but his first subject last for two hours so he's still manage to catch up "Ohh. Welcome back Mr. Renaste, how's the meeting from Ms. Ramirez" the teacher ask him that also want to know by his classmates. "Well, ma'am, not good! So you know her niece is one of my classmate so if I ask her out, I'm going to be tortured by her personally" everyone laughed at his humorous respond.

Raven flash back to the time where he auditioned, he remembers all the presense of everyone who's been around by that moment, all of the people gathered at that moment are mostly sponsors, scholar wanna be like him and the school's faculty staff members. Even though the audition program only didn't held in one day all the sponsor that are around that day is mostly the biggest sponsors of the school. Raven realize how much he underestimated his own presentation at that moment, it was a big mistake that he didn't mind too much about it and now that the trouble tailing him there's nothing he can do about it now.

Lunch time comes and Raven immediately run to the rooftop, now that troubles all around are after him, he can't let anything or anyone overstep him, he thought that he must be one step ahead before those troubles. He's observing from the rooftop above the academic building, now that things came to this moment, he had to now use his A game to play with them. He can't let himself to be in slave by their game but also he can't let the opportunity went by. Raven knows what they are after

As his senses roam all over the place, he now find many more people avoidable, some like teachers, office staff, faculty members and many students around the campus. And as he recall his classmate, most of them is worth to get around specially the class president. Who's hitting on him for not good purposes.
