24: It Was A Trap

Before this whole situation happened.

Maya confidently strolled thru the living quarters of the coliseum as if she never left.

he was so exited to see all her brothers and sisters in arms that she did non notice the absence of the guards. And the fact that all the gate and door were left unlocked should have been a dead giveaway to what they have set up for her.

As all her formal family decided to backstab Maya. She had realized something extremely sad.

"I trusted them, but they are slaves in the hearts and minds." A mantal shrek escaped from within her very soul.

"We don't know how long they will be knocked out for so let's go somewhere else to find your mom." Maya's tone was shaken as a single tear licked her cheeks.

"I came here to save you all and free you from slavery, but you have all surrendered yourselves to them and given up on life of freedom.... " She whispered to herself as she picked up Joy Boy and placed him on her shoulders as he was struggling to move between the fallen bodies.

Maya moved faster to the exit as she tried to step on the ground missing hands, feet, heads, and any places that may have lead to bodily injuries Even though Maya was betrayed by these people she didn't have any anger towards them. In fact she was sad.

Maya understood that they were so scared of the Celestial Dragons that ever when all the doors and chains were unlocked they didn't even try to escape. No instead the fear drove them to backstab the only person who was trying to help. This fact made her soul cry in despair and sadness.

Suddenly a solid figure of a giant been to slowly rise right in front of the main entrance.

His huge frame began to darken the hallway as he begins to block the sun.

Maya increased her escape attempts as she just realized that her devil fruit power only had 10 minutes of usage left. And she pushed harder to save the last of her power in case of a life and death situation.

The big men slowly moved his huge hands to his face as he tried to regain any sense of what happened.

With a long jump Maya landed right under the huge elbow and as quietly as possible wiggled her way past the huge frame of the giant.

{I can't believe that they even had someone like this hidden in the coliseum. I have never heard or seen anything about him in all my long years of life inside this place.} Her mind was going blank as fear of all the strength and power that was literally just a step away from her.

{ Just what will it take to win in a fight with that monster?} Her body shook in fear as she struggled to get past the huge obstacle.

"Wait,... little girl,... Please,... take me,... out of this place..." He huffed as his eyes glared with tears.

"I will pay with my life to see the land of my father's." His tone was desperate.

"Come and be free." To the big men's surprise the one that answered his desperate desire was not the warrior woman but a boy that she carried on her shoulders like some sort of a king.

"Come! " a tiny vice echoes far and wide filling out the entire hallway.

"My names Joy Boy, and I will be the man who will. .... " The beaming smile on the boys face held so much power in it that the big men just missed the rest of the sense and like a happy zombie he followed by crawling back out the main gate as his body was too big to stand inside.

The news of the fact that the crazy slave has finally made a mistake and fell into a trap inside the coliseum has reached the CP group that were desperately searching for the slave.

"We have to get to her before the slaves kill her." The tiny creature squeaks as he raises faster than lightning towards the coliseum.

"Yes sir" energetically respond the rest of the CP agents are desperately trying to keep up with the tiny general of CP.

"Hurry the slave pens of the coliseum will not hold out for long." As he increased the speed even more and literally disappeared as a cloud of dust grow behind him like a storm.

An unstable tornado begins to form.

The wind picked up as the tornado touchdown and the CP agents are forced to slow down to stop the deadly weather phenomenon.

As the trio of escapees enter the huge arena the big men finally had enough space to stand.

His body just blocked the entrance entirely.

"Guaha gha gha gha!" His funny laughter is so loud that it echoes across the entire kingdom and scares many to stare in fear in his detection.

Now that he was out in full light the two huge horns on his head finally reveal the truth of the fact that he is no ordinary giant.

No he is a mountain sized org.

"Thank for letting me see the stars boy!" He roared.

And reached out to his back to grab a enormous stick.

the earth shook as he slammed it into the ground.

"Pesky bug." He laughed as a huge cloud of dust and a tornado behind that approached at great speed towards him.
