"A hundred silver?" Li Hehua was skeptical. "Wang Sufen, where did you hear that? My father went to town to sell the blind bear, but it couldn't possibly have sold for that much money."
"Silly child, I heard it with my own ears! I even saw your father hand over the blind bear to the restaurant. It was a hundred silver." Wang Sufen said, licking her lips, "Your family is so rich now, Hehua, you must take care of Wang Sufen's family more in the future."
Li Hehua wasn't the decision maker in her family, being just a daughter-in-law; her in-laws were the ones in charge.
Li Hehua just gave a wry smile and stayed silent.
After waiting a while and seeing Li Hehua only smiling and not speaking, Wang Sufen's old face immediately fell, her nose not a nose, her eyes not eyes. "Can't even fart after all this time! No wonder you haven't been able to lay even an egg all these years!"
That remark was deeply hurtful.
And it had always been a sore spot for Li Hehua.
