CHAPTER 4:TROUBLE

On her way mia decided to call hannah as she reached out for her phone but before she could call her she bumped into someone and because the packed food was in her other hand when she dailed hannah 's number it spilled on Ryan and little spilled on her due to the impact some of it also spilled on the floor "oh God" she said when she realised what she has done "I'm so sorry " she apologised while picking up her phone that fell from her hand she looked up and was at loss for words "wow" was the only word that could pop in her head the man before was good looking "nah good looking is not enough to describe him ,she thought snapping out of her thoughts she apologised again realising that his outfit could be expensive "I'll clean it "she took out her handkerchief and tried to wipe the stain away .

"Could thus day get any better? "Ryan thought, he stared at her seeing as she tried to wipe the stain away which was obviously still there he caught her wrist then he said "you should watch where you are going next time " this was enough to make mia look up at him as she apologised again "I'm sorry I didn't...but before she could finish her sentence Ryan cut her short "apologising would not do anything he said sounding displeased .Mia stared at him s as she as never met anyone like him before now she knew she have to be careful with him as he emit a aura that mia knew she should be careful of. She then responded " I wasn't watching where I was going I accept that. but you were watching if not then that means you were also not watching where you are going so we are both at fault and that also means you apologising won't solve my stained dress "she stopped when she realised she just talked back to a stranger who she presume to be very powerful, she sighed i"it was my food that spilled on you so I can at least help you wash it off if you would let me.

Ryan took a step forward as he smirked amused by the way mia talked back to him on their first meeting which no one has ever done before "and hoe do you plan on doing that?"he asked, mia felt her heart skip a beat with the way he asked that question I. ..she stared "there is laundry room in this restaurant ,I can help you wash it there ,seeing that he has no option he followed with mia leading the way and released a sigh of relief as she expected she would be in trouble while Ryan on the other hand was intrigue by mia in which he thinks was unexpected he wondered what his Brother must be doing right at that moment . When they went in mia wondered if she should ask Ryan to take his shirt off but she felt it would be weird to say "please take your shirt off" as if sensing what she was thinking he too off his shirt since he is also wearing a turtle neck top and it was only his shirt that got stained .He handed it over to mia and took it for washing .

when the cloth was washed and dried she gave it to Ryan when she suddenly remembered that hannah was waiting for her outside, she immediately took out her phone seeing hannah text she hurriedly rushed outside leaving Ryan frozen on the spot .mia rushed outside to meet hannah who was fuming as she paced around while waiting for mia .She noticed the latter who was running towards her as soon as mia reached her she said "I'm so sorry hannah I had something to deal with "

"was that something so important that you didn't text me ,you literally kept me waiting ?"noticing something she asked "what happened to our food ?" "it spilled and also I had to deal with something else,sorry she said while shrugging

"I thought you were going to ditch me "hannah said taking the food from her hand before continuing "it really spilled ,you could have at least texted me "hannah said back to being angry "I'm sorry "mia apologised again while giving hannah a hug and hannah hugged her back showing she has already forgiven mia "let's go I have something else to but "hannah said as they both walk together "me too"

At the other side Ryan walked towards his brother who was waiting outside the car Jason was about to call Ryan when he notice him approaching "there you are what took you so long "he asked as they both got into the car "I got caught up with something, did he call?" Ryan responded as he checked some files in his phone "yes he want you to come visit him "Jason replied affirmatively silence filled the car afterwards as Ryan looked out the window, his eyes distant as he was thinking of something "tell him I'm busy "he finally said "sure "Jason replied he then asked "what wereyou caught with?" referring to why Ryan did not come outside on time .He wanted to ignore his brother question but knowingthat he will keep pestering him he answered "I came across something interesting " leaving Jan confused "what was?....." "I've answered your question what else do you want? "this had Jason to keep whatever questions he has in his head to himself

Mia and hannah stood in front of hannah ' s house as mia handed the bags mia wanted to go home when hannah said "please spend the night here " she pleaded not wanting to spend the night after a lot of pleading from hannah mai agreed to spend the night at her house and hannah ' s eyes brightened hannah felt lucky to have friend like mia she has no one to turn to except for mia after she lost her parents and their family members only care about the properties at that time she knew she has to be independent and the only one who has been there for her is mia who helped her get the documents her parents had left for her as if they knew their families won't give her right even though the properties rightly belongs to her

They both went in and mia headed straight towards the kitchen to prepare some snacks she prepared apple smoothie for both of them while hannah excitedly gulp it they both slept in the the same room each playing games or watching movies on their phones minutes passed and they both soon fell asleep .
