CHAPTER 13 : TAKE A STROLL

"I know that" Lucy replied and Jason smiled in response which Lucy find it to be creepy "well big brother promised to take me shopping later and that means I'm not going to spend the rest of the day with you"she licked her ice cream before looking ahead ,she then saw the roller coaster and wanted to ride it

.

Jason on the other hand wondered what she was looking at when he caught sight of the haunted house ,a thought then came to his mind and his smile widened . Lucy was about to tell Jason 5hat she wants a roller coaster ride but Jason spoke first"how about you go to the haunted house"he said and lucy looked at the haunted house as she shook her head "no"she replied

"why?are you scared?"Jason asked "no am not" she retorted "I just don't want to" . Lucy didn't like the haunted house one bit ,she has never tried to enter before but she knew she didn't want to and now Jason is telling her to enter"but you once told me that you like horrors and you've watched a lot of scary movies and you were never scared" Jason said

"I never said i wasn't scared of all of it"she said and Jason just nodded "then try the haunted house then"he said Asif giving her a suggestion "unless you want to prove me right ,that you are scared even though things that happens inside are not real"

"well I am not scared"Lucy said denying it "looks like you are" Jason replied " I said I'm not" she walked and Jason followed behind while laughing . Jason loved what he did and he was enjoying it. Jason wouldn't have followed her if not for the fact that she is his cousin.

And also he wouldn't know what his brother would do to him if anything were to happen to her and the park is very large,it would have very easy for him to loose her and he didn't want that.

He saw her sitting on the bench and he sat down beside her she was looking at the ground ,she knew he was the one who sat down beside her.

She looked at him"does big brother have a girlfriend?"she asked Jason and the question took him by Surprise. But instead of answering her question he asked"why do you ask?" she knew Jason was not going to answer"I know he doesn't have a girlfriend but is he that stone hearted to not have a single interest on a single girl?" she said.

"I don't know"Jason replied . Deciding not to think about it " okay, I want to ride the roller coaster"she said "okay".

Jason felt like he was Lucy's body guard when he 8s following her around and it is all because of his brother but he couldn't do anything but follow her to avoid trouble for him self.

Hannah and Alexa came down from the roller coaster and one could tell that they enjoyed it through their expression "that was the best ride of my life"Alexa said and Hannah couldn't agree more "I really wish big sis was here" she said as they walked together"I'm sure she his having fun on her own"Hannah said

She also felt that way as she wondered what Mia must be doing now,"how about we bring something for her ?" Alexa suggested "no problem"Hannah replied as she took out her phone to call Alex when Alexa snatched it from her "don't call him let's stay for a while" she begged with a pleading eyes..

"okay but a few more minutes and we are going hmm?" she confirmed and Alexa nodded. They spent the rest of the minutes playing games and buying treats for themselves, Alexa then concluded that it is time to leave after they bought Ice cream, while Hannah called Alex to come pick them up. While Hannah was calling Alex ,Alexa noticed someone familiar , she then looked carefully to be sure before she hurriedly dragged Hannah away from the park .

Outside the park , Hannah wasn't expecting to be dragged like that by Alexa "why did you drag me like that?"she ask and Alexa looked at her looking for the right answer when she said " I just felt like you would need space to call my brother and we are already leaving "she said hoping she had managed to convince Hannah with her answer

Hannah didn't think much of it and called Alex whilst making Alexa heave a sigh of relief. She knew if Hannah were to be suspicious she would have to tell her why she dragged her

But the reason wasn't a big deal ,she just didn't want that person to see ,soon Alex came to pick them up "how did you enjoy your day?"he asked "it was awesome" Hannah replied as they got into the car while it drove off.

Jason and Lucy had just arrived home with Lucy running ahead "big brother!!"she shouted .

"stop shouting dimwit"Jason said as he walked past her to sit down "it isn't your mouth so you shouldn't have a problem with it " Lucy talked back and Jason stood up he walked closer to her and Lucy knew he was about to do something he reached out his hand and pulled her ear " stop stop stop , it hurts ahhh big brother, help"

Jason then left her ear which has already turned red he watch as she rubbed her ear with a smile on his face. He then noticed his brother who was glaring at him and he tried to control his smile as he didn't want his brother to be upset.

Lucy ran to hug Ryan and he rubbed her ear at the same time giving his brother a glare "how did you enjoy your time at the park?"he asked "it was good but 8 still wished you were the one who took me there"she said

"come on let's go" he said and Lucy smiled as she stuck out her tongue to Jason who narrowed his eyes at her childish behavior as he sat down . looks like he is going to be the the only one at home.

Ryan and Lucy then walked out of the house and to the car where his secretary was waiting for him and they . They entered the car before it started to accelerate ,it then stop at the shopping mall and they got down including the secretary who followed . When they went in they were welcomed by stares of 6he people inside followed by the wispers.

it was rare to see Ryan in public places and everyone noticed that he came with his cousin ,some people who didn't know how he looked were filled in. The manager quickly rushed to their direction and greeted them with Ryan who gave him the signal that it his cousin that has come to shop ,the manager understood this and lead the way with Lucy following behind

She saw the looks those ladies gave her cousin and she knew some of them would try to get on her good side but she wasn't giving it . Although she wants a sister-in-law she doesn't want those who wants him for his money and fame, but knew if Ryan were to choose he would choose the right girl.

She then proceeded to take whatever she wanted while noticing some of the girls coming to befriend her but she ignored them and continue with her shopping

Ryan decided to wait outside along with his assistant ,few minutes passed and Ryan could tell that his cousin was taking her time and he patiently waited for her. He noticed a particular figure by the road as she looked around and didn't watch where she was going ,she had her head phones on and didn't notice when she was going to the middle of the road , a car had almost hit her when Ryan pulled her back.

After spending some time alone at the house Mia decided to take a stroll ,she knew that they won't come any time soon and decided to leave the house with her phone and head phone ,she spend the day going to places and observing them. At one point she connected her head phone then listening to music as she walked

She went to places and bought snacks for herself,for some reason mia didn't feel tired and she continued to Wal by the side of the road .
