CHAPTER 24: FUTURE IN-LAWS

The car stopped at the front of Mia's house as she whispered a thank you" my family wants me to get married to someone I don't know,they would want to meet you once they find out I have a girlfriend" Ryan said "okay" Mia replied. she knew where this was going ,she was going to live with Ryan and probably with his family,she couldn't describe what she felt . Mia didn't know whether she was nervous or it was something else.

Being Ryan's girlfriend felt strange "I'll be going" she said and got out of the car before Ryan drove off. She stared at the car before going into her house,the room was dark as the light was not switched on but mia ignored it and went up to her room with the light from the moon touching the walls of the house.

She looked around the room as to her it felt like a long time since she's been in her room. She had a long day and she wondered what date had in store for her. Mia felt like talking to someone after putting on her robe,she opened her phone to notice a lot of missed calls from Hannah. She decided to call her back and after three rings Hannah picked up her phone"hello"she said but before could reply"I called you so many times but you didn't pick up" she said again"I'm sorry, I got occupied"mia replied and she wondered if she should talk Hannah about what happened "how's auntie ?" Hannah asked snapping mia out of her thoughts.

She sounded worried which mia took note of"she is better" mia sat on the bed as she still wanted to tell Hannah what happened"okay,I'll come visit you tomorrow" Hannah assured"okay" mia replied before hanging up.

Mia then laid on the bed before closing her eyes to sleep.

The next day came and it was a fresh morning, Hannah walked up to Mia's doorstep to ring the bell,she rang a few times to receive no reply and remembering mia had given her a spare key in case , Hannah took it out to open the door. She went in before closing the door behind her,her eyes looked around the room searching for mia but she figured she's in her room.

Hannah confirmed for mia to be in the room without disturbing her. She slept longer than usual which had Hannah question if she had been sleeping well.

Mia later woke up with a groan ,she felt something wet on her that had her to open her eyes clearly to notice Hannah in front of her"you are here already" mia said . She had completely forgotten about Hannah coming. "I noticed you were slightly sick" Hannah commented " I don't the last time I felt sick like this was when I was a little girl but anyways thank you" mia smiled and Hannah smiled back.

"will you go see her today?" Hannah asked to mia and received a nod in response"okay , then I'll come with you" Hannah smiled. Mia felt her mood being lighter unlike the past two days and and she wanted to do something that would get her mind off things. Now that she thought of it,mia realised she had not visited Alexa since she had started school.

"can you confirm for me where Alexa is?"mia politely requested "sure"Hannah replied.

Alexa told Hannah that she was home and Mia decided to get ready to visit Alexa before going to her mum. The duo soon arrived at the place before ringing the doorbell and Alexa who was at her brother's house opened the door. The latter was happy to see them as she excitedly welcomed them . She missed mia alot as it had been a while since they saw each other.

Alex wasn't home which mia and Hannah took note of and Mia could guess that Hannah had told Alex about what happened since he had called her a day before. With a smile mia pinched her cheeks as Alexa was cute in her eyes.

They spent a few hours there with Alexa telling them how she loved her school"I wish you could see it"Alexa cutely said"it's not like we can't come anytime"mia replied "does that mean you can come sometime?" Alexa asked to both her big sisters "hmm"Hannah said. Then mia decided to leave"come on,stay a little longer" Alexa begged but the other two assured they would visit her some other time.

Sasha went into the mansion and slumped on the couch as she was tired ,she let out heavy breaths while touching her throat. She then call one of the maids in the mansion before ordering her to bring a glass of juice. As she drank the juice ,she was told that her mum was in the room and Sasha decided to see her once she's done with her juice.

Sge later went up to her mum's room before she went in . As she sat on the bed ,the door to the bathroom opened and her mum came out with a robe "when did you get back?" she asked not expecting to see her daughter in her room "not long" Sasha replied crossing her legs "your dad went on a business trip" her mum said knowing Sasha was going to ask.

The latter nodded as she thought of what to say. "when would we meet them?" Sasha asked. The thought had been on her mind for a while as she felt impatient although she wasn't going to just rush into things. Sasha was curious about what her parents had planned for her as she the right to know" maybe tommorow or the day after" she heard her mum say "that's was a bit Soo er than I expected"Sasha thought as she smiled,her happiness evident in her eyes.

"won't dad come along"? Sasha asked "he has a lot to do ,so he might not make it" Mrs ivy replied to her daughter . Her daughter couldn't hide how excited she was as she would soon be married to a Garcia and her mum knew that well. Then something flashed in Sasha's mind as she looked her mum "what about Mia's mum?" Sasha questioned "she's not our problem,we don't associate ourselves with people like that" replied her mum and Sasha decided not to ask any further.

She had already plan to start preparing to meet "her future In-laws" that got her excited. Sasha went straight to her room to order the best the clothes for herself. She also got some information about the Garcia's that made her plan on how to impress them which she feels would be easy for her to do.

It was already morning, Sasha excitedly woke up to confirm if she was going to meet the Garcia's today or the next. She quickly rushed to her mum who was downstairs as she got closer she immediately ask " are we going today ?" for a second her mum didn't understand what she was saying but later realized what her daughter was talking about " I think so but we won't be able to go until evening" her mum smiled "it's okay ,it would give me enough time to get ready" Sasha quickly said.

Her was messy and she ran her hand through it to arrange it properly "now go and freshen up" her mum said to her and Sasha nodded"it's only a matter of a few hours" Sasha thought to herself with a smile.

Sasha spent the rest of her time planning on how to impress the Garcia's meanwhile her mum had made arrangements for the dinner as she left her daughter alone to prepare her self.

It didn't take long for Hannah to choose a dress for herself as it was already evening. She had been counting the amount of time that has passed since the day started. Sasha carefully dress up as she stared at the mirror. She applied make up in her face. Soon ,both the mother and daughter were I. the car as the driver drove them to their destination.

The entire journey Sasha mind kept imagining her future with the Garcia as she couldn't get her mind off it
