CHAPTER 28: ANONYMOUS

"I cannot believe this"she whispered angrily to herself. She tried searching about someone but to avail. At the moment she wanted to break anything she could get her hands on but controlled herself. She stood up then went to the bathroom before turning on the tap and splashing water in her face.

She went back to lay on her bed,she wished to know who is girlfriend is but she couldn't get any information.

She then heard a knock and that increased her anger as she planned on not being disturbed "your father ask for you to come downstairs" seeing that Sasha didn't reply the maid left. Now she was starting to wish she had slept otherwise her father wouldn't have wanted to see her.

She got to where her parents were. Her dad had already been filled in about what happened . He quietly stared at his daughter" I thought you said he wasn't interested in any girl" Sasha angrily said. She didn't tell but her anger could be detected from the tone of her voice.

"I didn't call you here to talk about that as it is we still have a chance as he is not married" he retorted "your brother is coming in a few days" he broke the news to them and Mrs ivy almost choked on her saliva "is he going to come here?" Sasha asked to receive a nod "why?"

"do you have problem with that?" he questioned to receive silence from the other two . Sasha wanted to speak but was signalled by her mum to be quiet.A lot has happened and the woman didn't want to stress out her daughter"when he comes I want you to treat him properly, especially you" he said referring to Mrs ivy. As he left Sasha glared at his back before turning to look at her mum .

"she already has a problem to deal with as it is and now another has come in". She decided to escort her mum to her room as they wished each other good night. Sasha thought if how long it has been since she last saw her brother and now she was going to see him again.

She knew that her dad was disappointed that the didn't alliance didn't go well but right now he is anticipating his son's return .Now that she is now thinking of her brother ,she wondered he had been doing.

She checked her tablet before putting aside.

"are you seriously inviting him here?"Mrs ivy questioned to her husband" I don't see why it is a problem"he replied not caring about his wife's opinion " he is the heir to this family's fortune , it's not like your daughter can handle the business" His wife remained quiet for a while" he doesn't deserve it" she said angrily

"would you rather have your daughter take over the business, maybe you should show me that she has some experience"with that he left the room .

Sasha shook her head as she remembered her parents conversation."that's not a very fair thing to do"she whispered.

Sasha woke up to the loud beep on her phone,it was already morning and she reach out to see that an anonymous person had sent her text. At first Sasha wanted to ignore it thinking that it could be a scam. But when another text came in saying that it's about her getting married to Ryan she wondered who this person is and at the same time another text came in saying they should meet at a particular place with a specific time.

When the text was finally over ,she slumped her head back on the pillow. She thought of meeting this person that would supposingly help her.

Later that morning after breakfast , Sasha left the house after telling the driver that there's no need to driver to where is going. She drove the car to the location that was sent to her on phone and the location seemed the deserted as no cars was passing, abandoned buildings were located there.

She wondered what kind of place it is as she took out her phone to confirm the address.

She walked a little further before stopping at an abandoned building, again kept wondering the kind of person that would want to meet in this kind of place. She opened the gate that was rusted before going inside the builder. When she entered she noticed the room was slightly dark and only light from outside made it easier to see. She noticed a shadow sitting down and she got closer to see the person she came to meet.

As she walked down the stairs mia saw how the mansion looked during the day, she also assumed that Ryan must have carried her to the room as she didn't remember walking there herself, but something else caught her attention. She perceived a sweet aroma that made her mouth water ,she slowly followed the smell that led her straight to the kitchen. As she got closer the smell got stronger.

She saw something being cooked and she got closer to turn the stove off . It was then that she noticed Ryan at the other side and she wondered if it was the latter that cooked . She greeted him and Ryan greeted back "did you cook all this ?"she asked and Ryan nodded as he brought his attention back on his phone.

Now mia wondered how the food would taste. She wanted to have it and Ryan could clearly see through her expression that she wanted some"can I have a taste?"she asked to hear Ryan's light chuckle that got her confused"no one said you can't have it" he replied

She took the spoon and scooped some on the plate she wanted to ask Ryan if he was ready to eat when the latter took the spoon from her taking her by surprise as she didn't expect him to move from where he was. The two began to eat and Mia aww how delicious the food was when she remembered something"where is grandpa?" she asked as she hadn't seen the old man anywhere"he had something to do"Ryan replied.

"do you have classes today?" he asked and Mia nodded "I'll drop you off " he said "don't refuse" he said again when he saw she was going to say something. Mia didn't say anything as she focused her attention on the food that was extremely delicious. When she was done she washed the dishes before to her room . When she entered she walked towards the wardrobe and as she opened one part of the wardrobe she saw Ryan's clothes"did I enter the wrong room?"she asked herself as this was the room she slept in.

It was then Ryan came and he said"he wanted us to sleep in the same room"he walked in before opening the other side of the wardrobe revealing her own clothes. It was the clothes Ryan had bought for her and she the remaining ones are back at. the mansion. "okay"she took her clothes before heading to the bathroom while closing the door behind her.

Soon,the duo were both ready to leave. The drive was smooth and fast and in no time they got to their destination. Mia had Ryan stop a few distance from her school as she didn't want any attention. She wished Ryan goodbye before getting out of the car.

Ryan's phone rang after she left and it turned out to be Jason calling as he answered the call"oh great , sorry for disturbing but I just found out that uncle is in the country but now he is going back"Jason said "did you know what he came here for?"Ryan asked "no I couldn't get enough details"Jason scratched the back of his neck "usually he would at least come see grandpa"Jason said before he heard his brother hmm"by the way how is....?"Jason didn't get to complete his sentence when Ryan hang up the phone.

Ryan then turned his car around,he planned in spending one more day at the family mansion as he directly went there.
