CHAPTER 33: FIRST TIME LOSING

She didn't even know where to start,she was so excited to even know what t

o do . Taking a deep breath,her work started and she remained focused even forgetting that Ryan was there. Her bone cracked since she had clenched her fist. From Ryan's side,he saw her stretched while she yawned it's been an hour since she had been there and she was almost done.

Ryan didn't want to disturb her as he wanted her to know what to do on her own,he could tell she was almost but he wanted to keep her busy and make her Improve.

Mia checked the time and noticed they hadn't have any meal she walked towards Ryan

"uhm are you hungry?"she asked Ryan deciding to bring it for him along with hers'hmm" he replied

"I'll be back"she exited the room towards the elevator and went straight to the first floor , feeling the stares of the staffs she ignored them before going out of the building

There was a restaurant across the street that was not to far from where she was. Entering the restaurant she took her order before asking them to pack it in a takeaway. She handed a black card that Ryan had given to her to pay for the food

"thanks"she turned to leave when savannah entered the restaurant,both eyes met and Mia greeted her while savannah hmm.

"are you really his girlfriend?"she asked to mia "yes"

"I don't know if you are telling the truth but I know Ryan has never taken interest in anyone and if you are his girlfriend you wouldn't last with him"she then turned and went in, while mia left the restaurant.

She wondered why savannah behaved like that not that she cared about what she said after all Mia was just Ryan's contract girlfriend. Probably a fan of Ryan and Mia didn't think Ryan would have someone from his highschool.

The elevator door opened and went straight to the top floor before she arrived at Ryan's office.

She found it empty before putting the packaged food on his desk. There was a part of the room she hadn't gone to yet and wondered if Ryan could be there ,the place felt like his mansion as she saw large couches and a mini dining room where she saw him sitting.

Ryan didn't notice her as she was a large distance away taking a turn ,she went back to take the food before going back to Ryan. He could hear her footsteps before he saw her setting the table. The forks and knife were already there which made it easier as she felt she couldn't just asked Ryan where to get them.

They both started eating,and after a while mia noticed how fast she was eating compared to Ryan who took his time,she didn't want to be the first to finish trying to avoid letting Ryan know how much her appetite could be.

The food was half to be finished and with a sigh she took another bite and soon finish the food before Ryan , deciding not to think much of it and excused herself to finish her game.

A few more minutes and it would be done,it would work perfectly and Ryan will definitely show her,her mistakes. She stretched her body and her bones crack.

"I'm done"she said to Ryan who nodded with a hmm "I'll check it later"he said

"is there anything else I can do?"she asked despite knowing that there isn't anything much to be done since Ryan had done everything. She saw how efficient and fast he was at what he does.

"come"he said and Mia didn't hesitate to follow him,he led her to the other part of the vast room where there was a door that looked more like an elevator. Ryan opened the door using a password and Mia looked at the inside with awe. She walked in with Ryan and couldn't hide the expression on her face.

It looked like a game room only that there was a bed there . The room was glowing as if it had just been prepared. It was quiet large and she took a tour of the room leaving Ryan there,she noticed a kitchen there but still went to explore the room.

Going back to the living room she saw Ryan setting something so she went to sit at the couch that was facing the television . Admiring the big TV ,she heard Ryan voice " catch " before even thinking she stretched forth her hand and caught what he threw. Realizing it was a game pad " you can play right" Ryan asked "yes" mia replied . Before even realizing what was going on Ryan sat beside her they were so close to each other and Mia didn't know what to feel.

The game got switched on ,mia felt excited. it was going to be the second time she played against Ryan.

Both felt relax and Ryan kept beating her in every level.

After a while of losing so many times against him "okay I'm done"she said and could see that Ryan was smiling with satisfaction

"why?"he asked "I'm not use to losing,can't you at least be soft"she whined seeming like a child in Ryan's eyes.

"you can't always win ,I can tell that you are not used to losing so many times in a video game"

"yeah,it's just something I do for fun"she replied

"do you often do this when you're free?" there was curiosity in her voice when she asked

"you can say that" Ryan said

"that's one thing I know that you like"mia said in a whisper.

All of a sudden she felt Ryan got closer to her,her heart skipped at the action,his hand moved to her side only to take the jar of water
