CHAPTER 42: shocking

Ryan saw her looking at a particular direction and he saw it to be his grandfather who had just arrived and as expected he met people along the way.

Mia was starting to get use to this kind of life,it was a new experience for her.

"big sister you look great"Lucy said as stood beside her "thanks"Mia replied

"I'll be back"Ryan said to Mia excusing himself as he went down to where his grandfather was. Mia nodded as her eyes followed him.

"are you enjoying the party?" Lucy asked getting her attention

"yes are you?"she asked back to Lucy who nodded

Mia looked back down to see Ryan already with Grandpa.

"Lucy do you know where the bathroom is?"Mia asked to see the former nod her head"just go straight down and take a left"she replied

Mia then left for the bathroom going in the direction Lucy had told her. Mia ignored the people staring at her as she walked passed them. Taking a left turn,Mia walked a little further and soon found the bathroom.

Opening the door,Mia saw a lady standing in front 9f the mirror,she wasn't expecting anyone to be there but on a closer look,she realised who it was.

A car came to an halt with Sasha and her mum being the one to come out as they walked in. Sasha's eyes searched for the person who could possibly be a Garcia and at the same time the host if this party they were in. Although she hasn't seen the eldest son or any of the sons, she was confident that one if the guests will full her in. Afterall she planned on making a good impression.

"oh you made it I'm so glad" a lady came rushing towards them,Sasha recognized her to be one of the business partners to her father

"yes thank you for the invite"Mrs Smith spoke as the lady led them upstairs. Many if the guests were getting to know each other.

As her mum and the lady chatted away, Sasha looked around at the probably trying to look for anyone that could be a Garcia. What her mum was saying with that woman didn't interest her at all as her attention was far away from what they were saying.

She saw mr caddel and his wife , being occupied already but then something caught her attention.

Although she wasn't interested in what her mum and the lady were saying,Sasha could clearly hear them

"really he is here"Mrs ivy said , excitement evident in her voice. She saw this as an opportunity for her daughter.

"where is he?"she asked again with

"I won't say you should get excited yet"the lady replied and this was enough to make Mrs ivy confused

"I know you planning to make your daughter get close to him already you know it's not easier and it just got a whole lot harder"the lady added

"what do you mean?" Mrs ivy asked still confused

"well earlier today...." the lady started lowering her voice"he came in with a girl ,they were so close and I even heard that he called her his girlfriend,you know the rumors,they say he has never been interested in any girl but now he has a girlfriend and it's not going to be easy"she explained to Mrs Ivy.

Sasha who heard this squeezed her palm not believing what she heard. She couldn't believe she had missed this opportunity.

"mum I have to go to the bathroom to check my makeup"she said to her mum who nodded

Sasha,with the help of someone got the location of the bathroom and went towards it as she couldn't stop thinking of what she had heard . Opening the door she stood in front of the mirror before calming herself. As she was about to leave, the door opened and it took a second to recognize who it was. She could see Mia through the mirror and the latter looked great which had Sasha to wonder what's going on.

"I didn't know you come to these parties"she said with a mischievous smile. Het eyes sized miss dress with narrowed eyes

"you always have nonsense to say "mia replied

"you got yourself a sugar daddy after that incident, didn't you seeing that your wearing expensive things" Sasha said

"I'm not petty"Mia smiled and Sasha hated it

"well it's obvious you are relying on your sugar daddy since you have nothing if your own"Saha taunted and Mia get well knew what she meant and she clenched her fists

"not like you have all these from your hard work,I will advise you to mind your own business otherwise"mia warned before leaving the bathroom.

Mia decided to get some fresh air and she proceeded to go outside when a waiter passed by with a wine bottle and without thinking she took the bottle from the waiter before going outside where not many people were. She needed a time alone after all the long time she had spent at the party.

There was a table in the place she went and on it was a glass. She looked around to see not many people there and was glad. pouring herself a glass she took a a gulp of the wine drink

"she could be drunk"she thought to herself before shrugging it off. Mia began to feel dizzy after three glass.and she decided to go to the party.

Ryan on the other hand noticed Mia was no where to be found and he asked Lucy since Mia was last with her but the latter doesn't know where she is either.

From a distance Ryan caught sight of her and he was glad she was okay.

Mia walked towards him as she fell in his arms

"are you okay?" he asked only to see her nod

"don't tell me you are drunk"he added

"not really"Mia replied and Ryan noticed her eyes dilating

"did someone say something to you"he continued to hold her closely and tightly so she won't fall

"you told me you'll get me what's mine if I act like your girlfriend right"Mia whispered just enough for him to here

All of a sudden she closed the distance between their faces and kissed Ryan.

The latter was stunned for a while and his grip on her loosened making her almost fall only for him to pull her closer.

It gave Mia the opportunity to push her tongue in his mouth and Ryan felt like he couldn't control her. He let her kiss him as he closed his eyes,he could taste the alcohol in her mouth and soon Mia pulled away .

Without wasting time Ryan scooped her up in his arms before carrying her out of the mansion. He left the the people present there stunned to their core. what happened just now was a shock to everyone.

The most shocked was Sasha who saw the whole thing. She heard from people that's the CEO and Mia was his girlfriend. Sasha couldn't believe her eyes,she wondered how Mia got involved with him.
