CHAPTER 81: SOMETHING ABOUT HER?

Of all places in the world,the mall was the last place mia had expected to see Ryan.She had not seen him today and had only talked to him on phone. The expression on her face was quick to change to that of delight as mia observed him, noticing the concentration on his face almost the same as the one he held when he works.

His hair neatly combed with some coming to fall on the side of his face. Somehow mia stayed rooted on her spot , watching and admiring him from afar who was yet to notice her . Was this how she would be admiring him from a distance if he hadn't returned her feelings? mia thought to herself,a smile stretched wide across her face looking at his handsome face.

At that moment mia spotted someone who appeared from the other side and it was none other than Sasha who didn't fail to notice the former. Mia noticed Sasha staring at the man who was not bothered about the things or people around him. Although mia saw Sasha moving towards Ryan ,she didn't move from where she was standing but instead stood there to watch.The same time Ryan turned in her direction and smiled at mia who returned it to him.

She took one step towards him and he was about to do the same when Sasha grabbed his hand and as if in contact with a hot coal,ryan was quick to pull his hand away where he turned to glare at the person before moving to maintain his distance "did I hurt you?" Sasha asked innocently, something mia knew isn't a part of the former and gone was the cunning and arrogant look she wore before as Ryan had pulled his hand away like he had touched something toxic .

Mia was about to speak when a voice interrupted her by saying"what do you even see in her?,she is just like any other woman "Sasha did want to give up easily,she didn't want to stand by and watch this happen,it wasn't happening. "not exactly" earlier when Ryan had threatened Sasha,there was a change in his demeanor that mia didn't fail to notice,it was like double his usual cold self she was use to.Though she had heard it from Jason,mia hadn't exactly seen it and she questioned where he got his sweetness from.

"i didn't know you shop at the mall" mia stated because from what she knew ,ryan didn't go to places like this but he was used to attending business meetings and going out for business trips. Whenever he needed to buy clothes,either Jason or his assistant was there to do it for him,it was something he didn't bother himself with.

"I wanted to buy something "Ryan replied with a smile and he heard mia questioned "you couldn't ask your brother or mark to get them for you,I know you don't come here"unless you were dragged by Lucy or Jason,mia added Internally

"I needed to get it personally, neither of them would get what I want right" from the side of his eye he saw mia reached for something as she halted in her steps before noticing a dark blue coat,she said "since you are here I might as well buy something for you ,this will suit you"Ryan didn't complain and he noticed the gown she held before saying "you don't have to"

"but I want to,you are the one always buying things for me...hmm thinking of it as me doing my part "mia smiled at the end then she remembered something.

"I have to go I came here with Hannah promising to help with a few items "she had been so distracted and had momentarily forgotten about Hannah. She must have been looking for her all over the place and must be upset with...

"I'm sure she doesn't mind you being with me but you should go help her there are still a few things that I need to take care of"he said before leaning in and kissing her on the lips the pulled away,mia replied with "will you be busy for the rest of the day" it was because she had only seen for barely an hour in all the hours of the clock.

Mia walked as fast as her legs to take her , refraining from running to avoid hurting her self or colliding with someone.

On the other hand , Hannah was walking around with a bunch of things in her hand ,mia had taken longer than she thought and she decided to look for her without letting the things she carried fall,her arms were occupied. This was a huge mall and mia could be anywhere,where the hell did she go what if she decided to leave without telling but her friend wouldn't do that

In that moment she saw mia walking towards her and Hannah sighed in relief as she asked "where were you ?"Hannah asked taking notes of the clothes in her hand.
