CHAPTER 83: DISTANCE

The next day was quick to arrive,mia walked out of her room in changed clothes. Her room was still the same as it was the last time she was in . The clothes Ryan had bought for her in the past was still there in wardrobe untouched with some that mia hadn't worn. When she had left this mansion in the past,she barely took anything along with her but Ryan on the other hand didn't feel the need to get rid of her stuffs.

As she began to walk,her eyes fell on the room that was not to far from hers with the door closed but she didn't step inside but Instead went downstairs and saw Lucy at the foot of the stairs . Leaning against the railing as she tapped away on her phone,she looked like she was waiting for someone and on sighting mia, she stood straight.

"good morning sister in law"Lucy greeted with bright smile,her mood lighter than the previous day "you seem bright"mia pointed out.

"I was wondering if you could accompany me to Hannah's place ,I didn't tell anyone but I have taken an interest in fashion,she has been helping me and also it would be a good time to spend time "Lucy responded

"alright but I won't stay long because I have work later "mia replied and she saw Lucy's eyes lit up "thank you..."

Mia didn't know if Ryan was awake as she hadn't gone to his room to check with the intention of not wanting to disturb him.They heard footsteps and in time mia turned it see it was Ryan who had out on casual clothes.He maintained eye contact with her as he slowly descended his stair "were you leaving?" he questioned and by this time Lucy had left to give them space.

Mia bit her lower lip then. replied "yes...I'm going out with Lucy "

"were you planning on leaving without informing me?" and as he asked this his hand snaked around her waist pulling her close where he tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear Caressing her cheek,he stared at her.When he had come out if his room,his feet had led him to Mia's and he noticed she wasn't there.

"I didn't disturb you, thought you were sleeping since you worked late"she explained but her heart skip she she felt him brush his nose against her temple,there were practically standing in the middle of the room with other people in the house

Releasing her from his hold he said "take care of yourself it you need anything or feel something is wrong call me"in other words he wasn't going to switch of his phone because of her, leaning in a kissed the side of her lips, lingering there for a moment before pulling away.

Mia smiled at him and replied"I will"

When mia left Ryan stood there for a while , staring at the direction she went before going back to his room before closing the door behind him. Walking towards the drawer that stood not to car from his bed ,he opened it to reveal a bunch of files,with his fingers flipping through them as if searching for something

Not finding was he was looking for ,he walked towards his wardrobe where there was a small drawer he brought the files scanning through them before found what he wanted

Away from the Garcia's mansion ,when Hannah opened the door to her house and entered,she was about to close it when. someone stopped it using their foot and it made her question who was it. When she opened the door wider she noticed Jason standing at the other side and she sighed,,"you scared me, what were you doing?"

"I was waiting for you,I didn't expect you not be around after all it's barely late In the morning "Jason stated as he walked in "and what if I came later?"he heard Hannah asked as she approached him

"I've been waiting for a long time ,I just know that you will come and besides I can always call to ask your whereabouts"Jason paused then continued "I'm done with the task I have , brother is probably busy with sister-in-law and I have you"

Hannah stared with a blank expression "I also have work so you came at the wrong time "

"I'm alright with sitting down and watch you,I am certain you don't mind and it wouldn't take you anything if you need help just ask"he pulled her by her hand.Hannah on the other hand felt her heart race, never had she have this kind of feeling before but she embraced it ,it left a warm feeling in her , opening her mouth the woman ask"have you eaten?".

Jason shook his head"no ,I didn't have time to wait to have breakfast "

Hannah nodded about to pull her hand but Jason's grip was firm keeping her hand in place as he held it "I haven't received my morning kiss"he stated and it had Hannah take a long breath as if saying 'is that why you decided not to let me go'

With a smile"I don't think it is necessary,I'll go cool something,now..."she shifted her gaze to her hand indicating for jason to let go of her but the Instead of listening Jason closed the distance between them
