CHAPTER 101:DATE PLANS

The next day,mia got out of her room in changed clothes that wasn't her night dress. On reaching the dining room,Ryan,Jason and Lucy were already in their seats. After having their breakfast,Jason headed out to meet with Hannah and mia could only guess it was because of her new project.

Lucy on the other hand told she would also be accompanying them and that leaves mia and Ryan in the mansion.

"go and get ready,we are going out"Ryan said to her making mia turn to look at him with a confused expression "where?" she questioned but ruba only leaned in to kiss her nose with a wide grin "just get ready" saying this he went back up to his room.

Why does always have to leave her in suspense? she thought to herself. He hadn't exactly given her a clue on where he was

taking her ,just like the last two times. She stared at what she put on right now,a blue jeans with a baggy yellow top,Ryan wouldn't mind if she wore this,mia nodded to herself but regardless she went to her room.

Walking towards the wardrobe,she opened it to take out a box which contained some jewelry,she reached for tiny star shaped earrings before putting it on, fitting it in her ear holes,her hair that was packed up in a loose bun was met down as she combed it while wondering what Ryan had planned, surely be wasn't going to take them swimming.

Once ready she went downstairs to see him waiting there for her. He continued to look more handsome everyday and she just keep falling for him even more "I'm ready"now standing in front of him

"Could you at least tell me where we are going?" Mia asked as the driver opened the back seat door for them to get in "not just one place"Ryan simply said

"Art gallery, we'll spend a few time there then go have picnic together after that,we can go to the arcade"Ryan explained as the car went on the road,he had never considered taking someone out on a date before,the last two times was just what he had considered in the past..

Mia had been exhausted after all the dealing with the past that she witness and him watching over her .

"So we would be spending most of our time outside today"mia stayed with a smile that Ryan didn't fail to notice the happiness dancing in her eyes and it made him smile to knowing she liked what be had smiled. Bothe of them had rarely considered going to an art gallery and it was something they both found fascinating and it was why Ryan had included going there in their plans.

He had his thoughts on his uncle's plan but at the same time he didn't want to neglect his woman and wanted to keep her safe and happy where she wouldn't have to worry while he handles everything that may bring harm to them.

While the couple continued their journey on the road,in one of the luxury buildings, came Lily as she walked out of it heading towards the parking lot that was situated at the back of the building and away from the busy streets. As she neared her car, her eyes caught on to someone familiar and she paused in her steps looking at the person with a unfathomable expression.

He stood there staring right back at her and she clutched on ti the bag she held in her hand before opening the passenger to put it inside she walked to the other side where she prepared to open the door to go the driver's seat when someone said behind her "long time no see although it's quiet rude acting like you don't know me".

She turned around to see Charles offer a smile ,one that she has always been wary of "I don't remember having anything to discuss between us and besides I have somewhere to be" lily replied

"but you are not in a hurry and that leaves more time to be used isn't that right?"said Charles whist looking up before t looking at the woman before him as he tried to read the expression on her face. Lily sighed close her eyes for a fleeting second before opening them again to say "what do you want Charles?"

They were the only ones in the parking area"a lot of things but I see you are getting and feeling better all thanks to your daughter and future son-in-law"he had visited in a during her initial days of getting her treatment and she wondered how he even knew about it,was it just a coincidence?

"but then ,do you realize both of them share a similar childhood tragedy that would have left them traumatized?"

"You still haven't changed "lily pointed out wearing a disappointed look.

He let out a low chuckle then responded"of course what do you expect,back to what I was saying,both lost their parents at a very young age,but mia wouldn't have suffered the same loss if not for you "

"What are you implying?"

"that if you had chosen me then,I wouldn't have died and left you to take care of a child alone "

"We've gotten over the loss,and I want you to stay out of my life, don't get involved I suppose you should figure out why you weren't a better choice "saying this ,lily hopped into her vehicle and drove out of there, even though she had gone to the same college as him and his brother,she had tried to avoid him knowing how dangerous it would be and she prayed in her mind for Mia's safety
