"I mean, on both of our missions, we had transformed, and they attacked animals." James explained. his face was screwed up. Remus saw how he was trying to hold up.

"It makes sense!"

"It is very unlikely that they would attack animals, when they have work given by their Lord." Sirius said.

The wounds were decreasing,

"But who?"

"No one knows but us." Remus stated.

"I think, I think..."Peter took part in the conversation the first time, "Lily might know something!"

"What!" James and Remus shouted together.

"I think Wormy is right," Sirius gathered all his energy, and sat up straight. "But she wouldn't go to the Death Eaters."

They all looked at each other for a moment.

"Snape!" They all shouted together.

"We can ask her in the morning!" James said casually.

"How?" Remus asked him, "You don't even know where she might be, I heard her parents and she went away, because of a threat attack or something!"

"As a matter of fact, Her parents are at the Ministry," James examined his wound as he relaxed his muscular arm. "And as per, Evans, she is at my house, Godric's Hollow."

"How did that happen?" Sirius was shocked the most.

"I was assigned to get the Evans," James explained, "They were Voldemort's next target."

Peter flinched at the name. Sirius eyed him impatiently.

"Well, long story short, She needed a place to stay," James continued, "And I offered, then I came here."

The wounds were sealing.

It was the next morning, James was standing in his kitchen, his hands working furiously on the counter. He turned on the stove and poured the batter in the pan. He turned around. Lily was standing in front of him.

"Good Morning!" He said pleasantly. "How are you?"

"Al right!"

"Breakfast?"

He took a plate from the cabinet, and placed it in front of her.

"So you cook?" She asked, pouring syrup on her pancakes.

"When you live alone, you kinda have to!" He pointed around. "But Sirius cooks, if you kick him hard enough."

He smiled. He put the fork in his mouth.

"Can I ask you something, Evans?"

She looked surprised, Still Evans.

"Sure,"

"You know about me?"

"What?" Lily still didn't understand, "What about you?"

He was now putting the plate in the sink.

"About this!" He transformed, and back, "You knew about this, when you made that potion two years ago."

"Well, did you?' James standing by the counter, in front of her, almost towering over over. She was almost frightened of his towering, and broad figure.

"Okayy, okay!" She shrank back, "I knew!"

"So did you tell...anyone?" He eyed her curiously.

"Uhhh..."

"Did you?" He almost shouted.

"No,"

She moved a little more back. Then she bumped into someone. It was Sirius.

"Sirius?!" She smiled at him,

"Listen to me!" James turned her towards him, "Did you, or did you not mention this little secret to your Snevelious?"

"No, I haven't talked to him in a long time!" She was perplexed.

"Are you sure?" Sirius stood right next to James.

"Yes, I didn't tell anyone," Lily was a little tense but she held her ground. "I promise."

Sirius turned to James,

"Then I don't know what is happening."

"I know, but someone knows, somehow they know!"

They were talking to each other, as Lily wasn't in the room anymore. She stood there trying to figure out what was happening. But she couldn't. Right that moment, they were interrupted when a beautiful eagle owl soared in. It landed on the kitchen counter.

"It's from Dumbledore," James ruffled his feathers.

"What does it say?" Sirius looked impatient.

"It is to inform Lily that her parents are staying with some muggle, Dursley, for some wedding. and If she wants to come, she can stay there."

"NO!" Lily almost yelled,

The boys turned in her direction.

"What happened?" Sirius eyed her,

"Nothing," Lily said, "I don't want to go there."

"So where are you going then?" Sirius just blurted out.

"I suppose, I have to leave here," She said, "I can't stay here forever,"

"It's okay, you can stay!" James told her.

"But..."

"Stay here, you can't go back to your house, you don't have a job," James reasoned with her, "You don't have muggle money, so stay!"

It had been a few weeks Lily had been staying at the Potter Manor, But she barely saw James and Sirius. They were very busy with their work. All day, and late nights. Sometimes they were summoned in the middle of the night. She was really proud of them making a difference, joining the order, she wanted to do the same. She decided to do it after Tuney's wedding. How much she wanted to avoid it, but she had to go.

"Hey, Evans?" James was standing by the door. It was 7 in the morning,

"Oh, I didn't see you there," She was looking through the windows.

"I know you have to go to this wedding." James went on, "You need anything...from your house or something?"

"Uh, NO, But thanks, James." She said, "My mom has everything with her, I 'll be gone today, and on friday."

"Okay," He smiled and went away. Lily couldn't remember this Potter in school. She remembered she needed a date. She had after all checked plus one, and if she showed up without one, Petunia would kill her.

Lily spent the rest of her day in muggle London.

"Hello!" Someone sat in front of her, as she sipped her coffee.

"Hello!" She replied with uncertainty,

"I couldn't help but notice," The man was so familiar but she couldn't put a finger on it. "Beautiful girl...sitting alone."

"I..."

Lily was frustrated, she knew this person, but she couldn't remember, Something about him was familiar.

"Relax, I am not a muggle." He said.

Lily shrank back, 'NOT A MUGGLE' She didn't think. Someone would say that to her in a cafe.

"Excuse me, do I know you?" Lily asked him,

She had a long day ahead, with trains, and buses. She hadn't passed her apparation test yet.

"I was an exchange student at Hogwarts, for a year," He told her. "I recently came back, looking for you!"

"But you have a great accent." She observed loudly.

"Well, I try," He laughed. "I wanted you all along, But I was shunned backwards, because of that toerag, Potter."
