Chapter 29: Secret Hideaway

Remi’s POV

Gray wraps his fingers around my wrist and guides me to the exit of the green room. My heart is thundering in my chest because I have zero clue where Gray will take me. I’m trying not to overthink or complicate the situation by wondering about his intentions. Instead, I enjoy the feeling of his hot skin against mine, and his subtle cologne consuming my senses.

Besides the stage crew packing away the equipment from the show, there is not a single person from Gray’s team in sight, which eases the tension in my shoulders immensely. The last thing I need is for Lucy to see me leaving the arena with Gray.

“Wait, what about my car?” I think aloud as the thought comes to mind.

Gray pushes open a heavy door that leads to the back of the building, away from the paparazzi and fans waiting outside the venue for a glimpse of Gray Wilder. He peers over his shoulder at me, his emeralds twinkling under the moonlight.
