Chapter 50: Home

Thea’s POV

With the promise of a shared future between us, Hudson wastes no time. The cabin's warmth fades away as he gently lifts me onto his back, ensuring that I'm bundled up against the cold. The softness of his fur envelops me, providing a shield against the biting chill of the snowy night.

"Hold on tight, Thea," he urges, his voice carrying a mixture of excitement and urgency.

I wrap my arms securely around his neck, my heart pounding with a combination of exhilaration and anticipation. Hudson takes a deep breath, his muscles tensing with determination, and then he bursts forward into the dark and snowy forest.

The wind whips against us as we navigate the shadowy landscape, the trees standing tall like silent sentinels. The snow-covered ground blurs beneath us, and the rhythmic thud of Hudson's powerful strides resonates through the night. The thrill of the run courses through my veins, the cold air biting at my cheeks as we cut through the darkness.
