__________

Seth made one last check at his status before he walked to the Village Head Manor. He met six players there and they signed a contract.

The contract was for discretion whatever they Painted they must not disclose it to anyone outside the Manor.

After that, they were guided into the Manor. Those that were dirty were asked to go and clean themselves.

'Getting dirty!?' Seth wondered.

It turned out the Village Head's only daughter was having a birthday and as a happy occasion, a mini-competition was staged.

The one that Painted her most amazingly will be handsomely rewarded.

Seven Azure People including Seth were welcomed with smiles. They were given a board and other Painting materials.

They were at the part of the Manor that has an open sky, the floor was made of hard green marble. The places with no marbles were carpet grass and flowers. Seth took in the scenery with a smile.

He has seen better back on Earth but the fact it felt so real is just fascinating. One thing he made himself believe was that a Game is a place to enjoy and he will do that.

Shortly after, Guests came. Servants provided them with drinks before the Protagonist of the event walked in. She was accompanied by three Servants and her Father.

Seth was surprised to see him, it was the man Players assumed was a mere village Guard. He was also the one that made Madam Mud act gentle to the Azure Hunters.

Looking at his colleagues Seth understood he wasn't the only one surprised.

The Village Chief was a tall man, not too bulky with a handsome face. He wore his Guard Uniform but this time with a cape. The Protagonist wore a Long Gown of White Satin. It was adorned with beautiful Rose Flowers and a Lily.

"Thank you for coming. Today is…" the voice of the Chief was soft and his welcoming speech was addressed to all.

"I, Abuhi Vulcan, have invited Artists to Paint my beloved daughter. I hope they try their best and immortalized this day through the Paint"

Seth took the easy route as he began with pencils and other coloured pencils. A girl, two-person away from him, poured the colour on the board before using a brush to adjust them.

Thirty-minute later, Seth has drawn and coloured an exquisite 15-year-old lady sitting on a white chair.

Like most kids, Seth was good at drawing and due to his condition, he took his time to perfect his art. He also learned the art at school and practised it at home.

Some even commission him to Paint them during weddings, birthdays or other ceremonies. And he believes he will come First. In fact, he heard many good comments about him from the NPCs.

There were some complaints about a girl, two people from him, that was making a mess on her board but the chief said they should leave her.

Seth gazed and admired his art with a smile. And he has an urge to laugh but he was afraid he will be thrown into prison

"Hooray," Seth was happy his Constitution had been raised by one. No skill points though, and that makes raising physical attributes difficult.

A lady came with a pouch and gave it to him. But then he thought, what about him working in the Manor? Looking around he sees an anomaly. All the guests, including the event Protagonist and her father, were staring at a Painting.

Seth peaked at it and he was flabbergasted. The Paint was lifelike. He looked at the Painter, it was the girl that began by pouring colour all over the place.

'She is a genuine genius in terms of Painting, I need to learn a thing or two from her!'

Fighting was not Seth's strong suit, only small things like this can give him easy EXP and coins.

The event did not end there, Seth and the competitors made a copy of some calligraphy and other drawings.

Among the arts, the players were fascinated by one particular picture. It was a drawing of Werelion adorned with Golden Mane and Exotic armour.

"This is the picture of one of the Pride Race that considers themselves equal to Dragons. They train so hard and gather different treasures just to be on far with them. Yet, in the end, they were wiped out by a single Ancient Dragon." Abuhe said to the Players.

First time hearing one of the Lores of the Game, Seth was intrigued. Lions were considered to be the ruler of the jungle. And here in the Game, there were Dragons that according to all Myths and Culture were Apex Predators.

There must be a contest between the two!

Seth wanted to work in the village Chief's house to have access to some information but he did not come first place in the contest!

It was getting late in the Game, the Sun was setting when he saw Madam Mud entering the Manor. And all the servants and workers greeted her.

Seth said. "Grandma Mud! Good afternoon."

The Madam frowned at first before she forced a smile and said, "Seth Azure, How are you? I did not see you today!"

"Yes, I was busy trying to compete in the Painting competition. Come let me show you my amazing art!" He said.

Madam Mud was wary of Seth, he took every concoction she threw at him. And after she found out he has low health compared to other Azures she was afraid of her reputation ruining.

What if her concoction makes him sick, or causes him trouble? People will no longer trust her medicine and Abuhi, the Chief, will have her reputation reduced.

She might not like Azures but that was because they just popped up out of nowhere and they were asked to accept them.

In healer's pride though, she should cure diseases not cause them.

"Wow, amazing art. You must have been the winner. Right?"

"Nope, others are great!" He took a detour with her to see other Paintings. When she gazed at the Paint that scored first she was dazed for a second. Just like everyone else.

"This one is phenomenal," Madam Mud said.

At the end of the day, Seth managed to get what he wanted through Madam Mud. He was given a job in the Manor at the library. His job was simple, copy literary scriptures and that made him a Scribe.

The instructions were to copy a book every day for an hour. After he finished three small books an hour passed. He thought he would have a skill set as a Scribe but he didn't!

Seth came out of the library and found the Prize winner staring at the moon.

"The Game is weird. Upsetting but enjoyable!" Seth said as he stood beside her.

"Is that your 'hit on her' phrase… underwhelming!" She said without looking at him.

Seth ignored her remark and said, "Ahm, please teach me how to Paint. You started your Painting like a herd of boars trampling on a whiteboard and you ended it like an art from the—Empress of Painting The Heavens—!"

Her face softened and she smiled a little before she frowned and whispered, "I was her!"

"Woohoo!" Seth jumped back exhilarated and bowed.

"Please teach me how to Paint!" She was about to refuse when a Quest popped up to her.

Seth looked up and saw her eyes unfocused as if she was reading something.

'Did she get a Quest!'

"Alright, I will do it!" She said with a big grin.

'Isn't this 180-degree change in attitude?' Seth gaped
