New Features

"I can't believe we are doing this. We can't level up those Skills as fast as you. We have to do it over and over before we get EXP." Adamina complained.

The group of eight people were revising what to do next when the update was over and Seth empathized that everyone should have his miscellaneous skills maxed.

"I know, but I still think they are important," Seth said.

"Well, I have no time for that. Currently, we are exploring an abandoned house that has an underground passage. There is a little drop from monsters, but anything they drop is just an old patch of paper or a blueprint of some building." Tim said boringly.

Something clicked in Seth and asked hurriedly, "Do you still have them?"

Seeing Seth interested he said, "I only have one parchment. It wasn't complete. There is a need for three more volumes."

"If we can get it, can we analyze it?" Seth wondered.

"My Bronze Cabin can connect to his and obtain it. As long as he has it on his character!" Anna comment

"How!" They all asked her, surprised.

Anna stared at the pair of seven eyes gazing at her."Because my Bronze Cabin can!" She said, as a matter of fact

The eight people in the discussion were members of one big family.

The rise of Anna made them unite to support each other. Players among them joined the club and the aim was to help Anna in whatever way they could to succeed.

Sadly, they were all in different locations. None of them has the same coloured outfit in-game.

Making them assume they weren't even on the same continent. But that did not stop them from cooperating.

They share ideas and insights so that they can have more understanding of the game.

At the same time, they agreed on keeping some secrets to themselves that are not worth sharing.

Bala Ark stared at the angry gazes. He was tall, 2 meters with black eyes. He wasn't intimidated at all.

"Why are we here?" An old man asked. He was one of the world's elders.

The 21 world elders were in another meeting together with other people. The distress call from Bala made them come in hurry. But most of them were here using hologram technology.

Along the way, they try to find the reason for the call, but to no avail!

"You will all know. Doctor Remy please!" He moved to the side as an old doctor activated a supermassive scream. It features how successful their project was.

Omega has stopped encroaching toward Earth and even moved back to its previous orbit.

That was as a result of more than 3 billion people that logged in to the Asteroids Online game six hours a day.

The Game Cabins used so much energy in just one month that Omega was no longer being pulled. Due to this information a week ago many nations relaxed thinking that disaster was abetted.

The people there knew all this information and even had a celebration a week ago. Why puss over it?

They all thought!

The next motion image shows the whole of Earth's Solar System. Then it zoomed to Earth as it moved, orbiting the Sun.

The trajectory has changed a bit this year. As the Earth is tilting to the right. That was a normal occurrence in the Solar System.

They all thought!

The Earth was like an egg, in its orbit, sometimes it tilted to the right, sometimes to the left. And the orbit is not constant; it changes along the course of years

Though the orbits were constant.

The changes in the orbits were minor and in the grand scheme of things they can't be perceived. It was with advanced tech that humanity found little differences in the orbits over the years.

The screen zoomed on the orbit the earth was on and it was then that they understood the problem.

This year's path was filled with Dust Clouds. But they know it was not Normal Dust but small asteroids of various sizes.

"They are small, and our Energy Cleansing that stops the pull of Omega will not stop them. The moment we approach them, they will be pulled into Earth. They have less Mass and Weight which means they have no gravity to resist the pull. And they will be shooting extremely fast towards Earth." Doctor Remy explains.

The scientists observed Bala Ark's reaction, and he continued after he got confirmation.

"There are other Dust Clouds Zones on the orbits. It has been 2 centuries since Earth was in that orbit, that is where that incident happened. Now we are on its course!"

"Send the new nukes to clear them." A bulky man with a large stomach shouted. Clearly scared shitless.

Dr Remy frowned and said, "The original Asteroid is two-thirds of our Moon. When it hits the moon, it shatters and breaks into three medium Asteroids.

Beta, Omega, and Alpha. But the smaller fragments consist of 1 third of the entire Original Asteroid.

These small Asteroids once kept the Sun hidden from the surface of the Earth.

Thankfully, the more it revolves around the Sun the more it abandoned most of them on its orbits. Now we are meeting one of these deposits."

"Aren't you curious why haven't your satellite captured them?" The doctor let out.

All the 22 elders have their way of getting information with their stations in space and on other planets.

Seeing no one was answering he said, "The reason was they are charged by sunlight and emit the same energy or stronger energy than Beta. Not to mention there are millions or billions of them in one place. No weapon on Earth can approach them without being disabled halfway due to their special electrical magnetic waves."

He took his breath as he could see the big figures angrily glaring at him.

"Yes, we tried. Yesterday, our most Advanced Nuke, which we proclaim can wipe out a Small Planet, turned into a scrap of metal when it was just one Hundred Thousand kilometres close! You have to know, the energy core of the Nuke was formed out of Beta Asteroid Core!"

"What is the solution?"

A mature lady asked, she was among the elders and was trying her best to stop her hand from trembling!

Seth stared at the picture on the Smart Glass in their meeting room. Not just him but everyone was dumbfounded. What they were seeing was a Building Parchment that Tim said they were farming.

In the game, it was all well and dandy, everyone can read it and understand but outside the game, all they see is an alien language.

The normal English that was readable was just a file of symbols now.

"Maybe the data was corrupted when Anna downloaded it!" Tim comments.

"No, from here I can see it perfectly fine," Anna said, still in her Bronze Cabin as she can see them from her virtual office.

Though the game was updating, Anna's Virtual Office was not affected at all.

"There is only one conclusion. In the game, we are using another language. Think about it, we meet with people from different parts of the world and yet we still speak and understand each other." Adamina reasoned.

"I concur!" Seth agreed with her reasoning. His hand was crammed with A5 as he was busy copying the diagram from the parchment. He wanted to test something. That is if an in-game object can be useful in the real world.

It's a wild idea but he was going to see the end of it. Either prove himself wrong, or

right!
