Raaz Quest

Sling!

Eyes were on Seth, even the other players were out to see what was going to happen to their anomaly of a sibling.

"Did you do it?" Raaz asked, expectedly. He stayed in the house for 6 hours but nothing happened.

"Yep, it turns out the next stage was simple!"

After Seth crawled out of the cabin, Raaz wrapped his hand around his neck and they walked to the room's large window, casually chatting. While the rest of the household that was expecting something left the two to talk.

"So… how does this Temporal Warrior work!" Raaz asked casually as he observed the well-organized garden that was behind the window.

"Ahm, the thing was, the village leader in that world stole my Pearl… Well, they forced me to sell it to them!"

Pttt

"Hahaha"

He couldn't hold it in, Raaz burst into laughter, " I heard your theory from Anna...haha...but the truth was!" He calmed down with a bit of seriousness, "Everything can be possible!"

Seth was a little embarrassed but he said that to probe. Raaz was the closest person that knew something about it.

Saying it with confidence should make Raaz react in various ways and that may tell Seth if his conjecture was true or closer to the truth.

The duo just observed beautiful Geese and Swans that were playing in the sparkling pool in the garden for some time.

"You know… you need to thread with care." Raaz said with a sigh, "you are one little troublemaker that is making my life harder by the day!"

His voice was low but his serious disposition made Seth tense and the guy's arm was firm and heavy around Seth's neck. He had never carried something this heavy before and the man is not willing to remove his hands any time soon.

"They might have thought there was no power surge and what they expected would occur didn't happen but… it did happen. The cabin adjusted and stored more energy to avoid any previous adverse situation!" The man explained as he observed Seth's face.

"I'm going to tell you a secret… if the world learns of your talent, our country might be decimated to obtain you. What was happening to you shouldn't have happened at this stage!"

Seth felt his leg weak and his stomach churning.

"And… you are giving me a hard time blocking any possible ways that your secrets can be exposed!" He added before he took a deep breath.

"Well, if you expose yourself, people will come for you. Riches and prestige are all you will have. Perhaps become a world noble. That will happen but the enemy group will try to obtain you and the end result might not be… so glorious!"

"I'm not trying to scare you, but it will be stupid of me to not tell you your situation. Anyway, don't stop what you are doing."

The conversation was long, but mostly it was Raaz ranting. Sometimes he was annoyed at Seth and other times he was amazed by him—and he also felt envy and spoke as if he didn't care what happened to Seth. But the next moment, spoke about trying to protect Seth's secrets.

Seth began to wonder if the guy was in the right mind to show different kinds of emotion in the span of a single talk.

In the end, Seth came to understand that Raaz was conflicted.

He did want to do good to Seth and serve his country better. But at the same time, if others knew what he was doing he might be in trouble.

At the same time, he was fantasizing about the riches he would obtain if he announced Seth's abnormal situation which was the most alluring to him.

"I like your family dynamic. The unity and also the care you had shown to each other. That was the best cause of action for what was to come. But… what I liked the most was the fact that you people agreed to keep certain secrets to yourself in order to avoid unnecessary trouble. Still, I will warn you, there will come a time that you don't know who to trust. Trust no one, not even me!"

The man pulled out a fist size black box and handed it over to Seth, "Find the secrets of this thing in the next 3 months at most. That is my little Quest to you. Failure to do that, you are a lost cause and… I will not entrust you with anything!" He asserted sternly.

Then he walked away but before he went out, he turned and said, "Don't hold yourself, go all out. I still got your back!"

'You still have my back for the next 3 months!' Seth lampooned. He was terrified as well as amazed by what was happening.

These cabins weren't actually cabins but Energy Generators. Seth walked to his Cabin and stood, he could still feel it… Temporal Pearl—but here in the real world, it was Terran Energy.

Today, there was no energy surge but Raaz has seen that Seth has begun to fill Rana's Bronze level TE Chamber. Which has 100 times more capacity.

One of Raaz's worries was how to find another Chamber before the damn monster filled the Chamber.

"With that stamina, you need to put on some muscles to surprise your grandma!" Seth was startled and turned around.

"Wouldn't that be a bit hard?" Seth said to his father.

"Nah, but we will first know what was happening before we throw you into the regime. Come let us have a conversation!"

Another conversation began, this time Seth was free to talk however he wanted but as they passed some cabins, he suddenly stopped.

Without saying a thing he went around all the cabins and touched them before he came back with sweat and shock on his face.

"What is the matter?" Adam, Seth's father asked.

"When there was a lion Roar, the squeals of a rabbit can't be heard!" Seth mumbled.

"Well, it's understandable. Sadly the tallest tree might be toppled by the hurricane leaving the grasses… you need to be careful!"

Both of them understood what they meant.

Just now, Seth felt TE from three cabins and he knew who they belonged to. What that meant was, they are Temporal Warriors!
