33 SUPPORTING HER HANDMAID INSTEAD OF HER HUSBAND

A knock came from the door, which woke prince Gen and his beautiful bride. The knock was too soft on the door, like the person at the door was a baby.

Princess Fen only heard it from her dream, but prince Gen woke up and stretched his body before stepping down from the bed.

Prince Gen motioned to the door as he dragged his feet. On getting to the door, he held the handle. Even when prince Gen approached the door, he was still feeling sleepy and tired of the previous night's work. The night work between him and his mistress.

"Hamm," prince Gen yawned before he lazily opened the door. Immediately after he opened the door, Shu almost screamed and faint. She has seen what she wasn't meant to see in him.

His p*nis was in a standing position.

Shu almost fell, as if someone pushed her. As soon as prince Gen saw her fall, he quickly grabbed her hand, to protect her from falling. Prince Gen gripped her right hand and his left hand was at her back as he protected her from reaching the ground.

He never knew what was going on. Shu gasped and breathed heavily. Now, their eyes were locked together as they remained in that position. Eventually, his p*nis touched her thigh. Shu could feel the hardness of it on her thigh. She could feel it better because she wore a short skirt that exposed her glowing lap. But that wasn't Prince Gen's problem. His focus was to protect her and not the other way around.

Shu felt the urge to touch his p*nis, but she was afraid that he would get angry after that. Instead of touching it, she maintained herself as she stared into his eyes.

It wasn't an issue if Shu was a year older than prince Gen, nor he was a year older than her. Age doesn't matter as much as there would be love between them. Nevertheless, she wasn't his wife.

"What's wrong with this maiden? Why does she keep creating unnecessary scenes." Prince Gen thought to himself as he stared into her eyes.

It was like someone whispered into his ears and told him that his p*nis was crushing her thigh. Once he noticed it, he let go of her. Shu fell flat to the ground without obstruction.

"I should have known that this is what made you be carried away by thinking stupid." Prince Gen yelled at her and pointed a finger at her.

She was still lying on the ground, regretfully. "I shouldn't have been tempted by what I saw," Shu advised herself.

She tried to stand up from the ground, but prince Gen almost slapped her, and she fell back. Shu pleaded for forgiveness.

"For your information, know that you are just a maid in this palace. Avoid me or you will hate me one day. You're not my wife's sister, you're simply a mere maiden…"

"She isn't a mere maiden. She's more than that!"

Before Prince Gen could complete his statement, a voice interrupted.

Prince Gen swiftly turned around and as soon as he sighted the person, he went cold. It was Princess Fen, his bride. Both prince Gen and Shu were shocked as they wondered if Princess Fen saw them when he was holding Shu.

"M-My Lady, you have no idea of what she did." Prince Gen stammered, and princess Fen was glad that he had a bit of fear of her.

"I don't need to know before I tell you that she isn't a mere maiden. She's like a sister to me. In fact, she's like my mother who takes good care of me."

Princess Fen smirked.

Shu, on the other hand, was shaking like a dry leaf. She wasn't sure if the princess was actually speaking the truth, rather pretending to be okay when she was hurt inside.

Her gazes were fixed on the floor as she avoided eye contact with any of the two souls standing before her. Shu wasn't in her right mind. She was older than Princess Fen, yes she is, but that doesn't mean that Shu can't be scared of the Princess. She was a maiden, and she was obliged to obey everything princess Fen says or ask her to do.

"Shu, it's okay. Sorry for whatever happened. If only he knows how you have been helping me, he won't say such words to you." Princess Fen said as she dramatically cleans Shu's body. Even at that, Shu wasn't comfortable.

"Now I see." Prince Gen whispered. But it was enough for princess Fen to hear.

Prince Gen was furious, but he decided not to show it up, instead, he stood at the door and glared at them with anger. If only princess Fen had known what happened, she wouldn't have supported Shu. However, since anger has taken the best of her, she decided to ignore him, even if he's the right person here.

The corridor went silent for a while. After what seemed like everlasting silence, princess Fen finally broke the silence.

"You never came back last night, how come you woke up from bed? Aren't you meant to sleep in your mistress' place?" Princess Fen asked out of anger. Deep inside of her, she hated him for going to his mistress's room the previous night and leaving her alone in the room. It wasn't funny for her to be alone in the room the previous night.

Actually, Shu came to know what princess Fen would like to eat for breakfast, but the case ended up being different. Shu was even confused if she should go with the inquiry. Not when she is seen in this condition. She knew that prince Gen was in outrage, and she wants to avoid anything that will implicate her.

"You never…" Prince Gen wanted to reply to his bride, but Shu was still standing there waiting for what he didn't know. So, he couldn't finish the statement and asked Shu to give them some privacy, which she did. Prince Gen and his bride went inside the room to discuss everything between them.

"You never wanted to have sex with me. I was unable to hold myself because I was already in the mood. Listen attentively, for us to live in peace, always give me what I want, and I will always do or give you whatever you want. If not, nothing or nobody can stop me from going to my mistress, and that's final."

Prince Gen spoke with anger. He was out of control to a point that he felt like chasing her out of his room. But he maintained himself for peace to reign.

Princess Fen stood speechless as she stared at him with a pale face.

"These weren't the promises you made to me. Why do you want to change all of a sudden?" Princess Fen asked with teary eyes.

"I know, but you are the reasons behind everything that is happening right now." Prince Gen replied with a bit of calm.

"Marriage is not only about sex. Why can't you think about that." She yelled.

"Oh, marriage is not all about sex, but I believe that sex is part of marriage. And if sex is part of marriage, why not allow me to take my share, huh?"

Princess Fen could only stand and listen to his words that were piercing through her mind like an arrow. Even though his words don't seem like words that can hurt one's feelings, to her, his words were hurting.

Prince Gen left the room and went to the garden to have a quiet time.
