Don't know why, however, for Leon, the lunch that day was superb. It was a simple bread, meat slice, and soup, yet he could remember the taste for many hours to come. It left him with a strong impression, and every time the memory passed his mind, he could not stop smiling. He wondered why it was though, and an idea was considered by him.
[Could it be because…?]
"Milord, it's almost sunset, should I close the window?" Ecuti's question interrupted his thought and brought him back to reality.
He looked toward the window as if it was the one thing that he heard of her before he looked her in the face again.
"Ah, yes. Please close it. But, before that, light those lamps first." Confirmed Leon while pointing to the lamp post that was located on the wall.
Ecuti nodded and she started to put the fire inside the lamps, while Leon watched her. After she closed the window, she approached the front of the desk where Leon was sitting.
