The moment Ahli heard that he was not blown by it. As a matter of fact, he felt it was kinda silly. A king meant someone who rules the others, and because it was not something democratic, so the person would not be elected. There are two kinds of ways in which a king is elected, charisma or power. Charisma meant that a group of people liked a guy, and they appointed him. Power meant a guy made a group of people recognize his strength, and so they choose to follow them. That would be the simple way.

With Card Mage System that is technically for combat, it has to be on the power path. Which also meant that it would be a bloody path, a battle royale among the card mages. It had already started with Ahli not being in the same faction as the other card mages, and with this prophecy being around, it could mean that there would be more extreme battle to be faced.
