Trial of Cards

With their blades broken, there were no more forces that kept them at their place. Ahli and his other self's pushing forward motion was not contained and made them taken by the flow of the force, moving closer to each other, even though eventually Ahli turned his body sideways, avoiding collisions that were supposed to happen.

The maneuver however cost him his balance, and he was unable to stop, tripping himself in the end, falling with his right side hitting the ground first. For a moment he thought the second persona was going to attack him immediately, taking advantage of the momentum. But as the predicted event did not come to pass, Ahli pushed with both hands, raising his body from the ground, leaving the broken sword at the side.
