Trial Toward the End

Knowing another hurdle would appear in front of him, Ahli opened the question toward his other self, as the surprises started to tire him. He knew and he read it in the second persona's expression, so he preferred it being served early. 

"Okay, what do you have that in your hand?"

"Why do you care?" Being asked that, his other self acted defensive and it was something that Ahli understood. If he was being asked like that, he would be defensive as well.

"Because you were not happy nor upset because of it." Ahli saw the realization in his other self's eyes, one that confirmed the guess that Ahli made. Before he made the confirmation with words, Ahli continued with the purpose to ensure the second persona that for this, he had no intention of rivalry. "So, just show it. And I'll give you my opinion on it."

"What? You're joking right?" The second persona was about to laugh when Ahli stared straight at him, with his most serious eyes. "You're not…"
