Ahli never thought his hobby of playing Trading Card Game would be useful for him someday. CARTA, a mysterious entity has befallen its wisdom to him, 3 months after his girlfriend went missing.

It transported him to another world and bestowed him with the CARD MAGE system, a powerful magic system using aspects of card games, that have helped to win the war against the Demon King army.

However, what purpose does his summoning are for?
Does it have any connection with his missing girlfriend?
Or does the world in need of another card mage to fight another rising threat?

As he collects the Knowledge of CARTA, so does his true mission unveiled, one by one, in this brave new world.

I planned this story before as a fanfic, but then as more elements of the story came to mind, I just knew that I had to make it an original story.
For those who like strategy battles in detail, this would be the story for you. Also, as the story progress, it will get more scenes that might be difficult for some people, so be warned.

King of the Card Mage System

Leon was surely upset because things did not go as he planned, but in Ahli's defense, he only missed a few of the fine print that he should have read.

"Base power meant even if you change it, it would be the default for that moment." Ahli started to explain the thing in the simplest way he could. "Poison counters stated that units that are poisoned got their power reduced as many as the counters on them."

"But, base power is just replacement. Which meant, you are not using a ranged attack even though it's a special ability, Cardoken still needs to touch using raw power to hit me. And because it has 5 counters, so it's counted as zero."

"DAMN IT!" Leon kicked the ground in front of him, shoveling a chunk of the soil, and making it thrown to the air. "This multi-system thing is bullshit! This never happens in Pet Fighter!"

Ahli took a deep breath again, and he deliberately let out a big sound as he sighed.
