"Bang"
Just after Jason was sent out of the city, commander Eric broke into the room they were residing with a sword in hand, and seeing that the queen was alone, he began to scan the area in hope of finding Jason but to his surprise, he was nowhere to be found and he had to return his gaze back to the queen.
"Are you looking for something"? Queen Jeanie asked with a smile on her face.
"The prince, where are you hiding him"? Reply commnader Eric with a frown.
"Somewhere you people will never find him" she said before taking a step forward.
"You know how this is going to end so I advise you to surround '' asked commander Eric.
"That's a nice offer commander Eric but I'm sorry I can't take it. My son is waiting for me" reply queen Jeanie as she dashed at him in full force.
"Hmm" seeing the queen coming at him, commander Eric swung his sword to the side before letting out a slash which was followed by an energy.
Moving her body to the side just in time before the attack could touch her, queen Jeanie stroked her palm forward without delay. Commander Eric was a little slow as the palm attack hit him right in the chest and he was sent taking several steps back and at the same time, his attack bypassed the wall like butter as it shot into the sky.
"Boom".
The citizens were shocked when they heard the explosive sound as they had their heads turned to the location where the sound originated from only for them to see that part of the inn had been destroyed with two figures locked in battle.
"It seems like commander Eric has already found her" said one of the guards with his gaze to the inn.
The moment the explosion rang out, the guards all rushed toward the inn as they all stood while watching the fight between the two. While the city protectors who came to take a look at what is causing couldn't help but feel their legs shaking weakly as they watched the duo fighting intensely.
"This is bad, the city is not strong enough to handle something of this caliber" said one of the protectors.
"Should we go and beg them to stop"? Ask another protector.
"Yeah you can do that in our stead but that is if you would be able to get close enough without being blown to death by their attacks" said the leader with a frown as he turn to the protector that made the suggestion.
"So are we just going to stand here and watch them destroy the city" another protector asks.
"They are far stronger than we are so the best thing we can do is just stand and watch until a winner emerges" replied the leader of the protector with a sigh.
The fight went on for a long time and since they are equally matched in strength, it become difficult for them which led to commander Eric summoning the guards to give him a hand and it was only then that they were able to suppress the queen but they didn't go unshattered as a guard lost a hand while some with minor injuries except for commander Eric who had a deep wound by his rib cage with blood stain by the edge of his lip.
Laying on the ground almost out of breath was queen Jeanie whose robe is covered in blood with her hair being disheveled hair.
"Sorry, Jason but I won't be there for you" mutter lowly before going unconscious.
"Who would have thought that getting the queen to submit would be this difficult. Good thing commander eric was here else I don't think we would have made it back alive if we were the ones fighting her alone" said one of the guards who seem to be out of breath as he sat on the ground.
"There is no time to waste here, we are going back to the higher heaven this instance" ordered commander Eric as he picked the queen from the ground.
"But commander, don't you think we should rest for a while before leaving? I mean we are all worn out during the fight with the queen so why don't we rest a little to regain some energy and tend to our wound before leaving" asked one of the guards with a pale face.
Commander eric turn to the guard who made the statement with bloodshot eyes before speaking coldly.
"You can wait here to recover but know this, if I get to the higher heaven and none of you are there when I arrive, then consider yourself banished from coming".
After the warning has been given out, those that were sitting on the ground quickly rush to their feet before following behind commander Eric as they flew out of the building that has already been destroyed, and with the look of things, the inn was not the only victim of the fight as other places could be seen in a sorry state with those residing inside the city all standing outside since it is no longer safe to be inside.
"I'm sorry to the damage we have caused to this place, don't you worry for someone would be sent to fix and compensate you all for your lost" commander Eric said to the crowd from above before flying away into the distance with the guards behind him.
"I knew they are not from this realm, for them to come and do as they please like is none of their business" said one of the citizens with a frown on his face as he watched them fly away.
"They are stronger than we are so keeping your mouth shut won't hurt you since they promise to fix things. It would be wise not to get on their bad side" said the leader of the protectors who overheard the word among the crowd and spoke up since he is not seeking death.
