All the Good Girls Go to Hell

I'm painfully aware of the awkward tension in the room as we all sit around the table in Kaden's dine-in kitchen. He has a more formal dining room as well, but I'm glad they opted to use this space instead. I can only imagine how awkward it would be if we were sitting in his formal dining room like some ill-fated dinner party.

The one saving grace of all of this is that his dad's Spaghetti Bolognese really could be famous. It's amazing. His dad certainly isn't shy about it either. He's pretentious as fuck and I can understand immediately why Kaden finds him so offputting.

"So, Vale," Max drawls, "I understand that you're also in the music program at Brentwood. Is that your major?"
