Chapter 9 Meeting Sofia

Mia was on top of Andrew, as he hold her tightly in his arms. When Mia realised what position they were in, she hurriedly got up. Andrew saw Mia was shaking in fear, "Who was that girl" Andrew asked getting up from the ground looking at her worriedly,

"I don't know, she came from nowhere and started saying weird things" Mia said glancing at the way the girl ran off.

Andrew sighed as he was glad that he came on time before anything bad happened. "Let's go" Andrew said walking towards his apartment, "I'm not coming" Mia stated angrily, , even if he saved her life she still was angry on him for his behaviour. Andrew knew she was angry on him.

"I'm sorry" Andrew suddenly said making Mia stunned, "I should not have said that, I was just a bit angry, thinking that you were taking this situation very lightly" Andrew admitted his thoughts, he was feeling really sorry for whatever he said to her.

Mia nodded her head, she was still angry on him but right now, her life was more important then her anger, so she went with him, when they reached his home she met the worried eyes of Akira and Aiden, she really felt bad to make them worried for her.

Andrew told Akira everything, how that girl tried to kill Mia and the things she said. Akira was really confused, he had no idea about someone who knew about the curse. "let's not waste any time now, I'll go and bring Sofia and you guys stay here till I come back" Akira said making the other three nod their heads.

After Akira left Aiden and Mia were chatting and Andrew was making something for them to eat, "So Mia, does anyone from your family knows about this curse" Aiden asked Mia taking a sip from his coffee.

"Nobody knows and I don't even want to tell anyone about this" Mia told him with a sad smile, as they continued to talk.

"Can't you just come with me now" Akira was irritated by her, why can't she understand the situation,

"ugh.. Akira I have a lot of things to do, that girl is not the only one I have to save" she answered as she continued to mix a red and yellow liquid in a round glass blow.

"Someone tried to kill her" Akira told her making her stop her actions, "Sofia why can't you understand that she is an innocent soul, getting trapped by a wicked witch, please help her" Akira pleaded.

"so doesn't it make sense that whoever gave her the bracelet or the witch who passed her curse will try to stop her from saving her life" Sofia said making Akira nod his head agreeing to her theory. "So don't you think if Briana was here she would have definitely helped her" Akira knew after hearing her best friends name, Sofia won't deny to help.

Sofia sighed knowing very well what Akira was trying to do." Okay, I will meet her but if I feel she doesn't have a strong will to fight, then don't expect me to help" Sofia stated firmly making smile and howl in excitement.

Suddenly in Andrew's home they started feeling cold as the temperature started to drop, Mia and Aiden started shivering but Andrew was sitting comfortably on the chair as if he didn't feel anything " aren't you cold" Mia asked rubbing both her palms together.

"don't you know I'm a wizard" Andrew asked her feeling surprised that she didn't knew that, " I knew that, but I didn't knew you can't feel cold" Mia looked at him in surprise.

"I guess Akira hasn't told you a lot of things" Mia heard a sweet voice as she saw a beautiful lady standing in front of her, Mia didn't even knew where she came from, she had beautiful green eyes as she smiled at Mia lovingly, her straight golden hair were looking like threads of silk making her wish she could touch them, she was wearing a purple colour dress that had golden rose petal design on them as they were shimmering beautifully, the sleeves of her dress were flowing in air.

"Mia, Andrew meet Sofia the one I was talking about" Akira had a smile on his face as he introduced them.

Mia snapped out of her thoughts and greeted her with a smile while Andrew just nodded his head coldly looking all serious, Mia really didn't like his nature but she can't do anything about it.

"How have been Andrew" Sofia asked Andrew hoping to get a reply from him but the only thing he said was "you're here to help her, so do your job and leave" Akira shook his head in disappointment as Sofia had a sad smile on her face. " Sofia I must say you still look really young, you look like Mia's younger sister" Aiden complimented her as he tried to lighten the situation.

Sofia laughed a bit " Of course Aiden my boy, I'm a witch, as you know we don't age after a certain time". Aiden nodded his head, he was very well informed about everything.

"now let's talk about what are we going to do about Mia's curse" Akira said making Sofia go all serious as she nodded her head.

"Let me see what I can do, come here my child" Sofia said as she called Mia towards her, Mia walked towards Sofia, she could feel her heart beating faster as she walked towards her. " don't worry Mia, I'll try my best to help you, just try to relax" Sofia said in a soft voice hoping Mia could relax.

" Now hold my hands so I could see how much the curse has taken over your body" Sofia forwarded her hands towards her, Mia was a bit hesitant but when she saw Andrew nodding his head trying to encourage her, Mia took a deep breath and held Sofia's hand.

Sofia smiled and closed her eyes, Sofia started murmuring something which Mia couldn't hear properly, suddenly a black thread came out of the bracelet making Mia gasp in shock, everyone was watching as the black thread went towards her right leg and disappear in a flash.

Sofia opened her eyes and said " you're lucky it hasn't taken over your body completely, but it is slowly making it's way" Mia gasped at the information. " So how will you break the curse" Mia questioned her,

" I can't break it" Sofia said as a matter of fact " I'm not that strong to break such a powerful curse".

Mia was a bit disappointed she didn't wanted to know how much the curse has reached her body or how it works she wanted to know how someone can break it. Sofia saw Mia's sad face and said "I'll help Andrew, so he can be able to use his powers properly as he is already very strong.

"I know someone is trying to kill you and even the curse can kill you any time so I'll give you something for the time being" Sofia said as she started making a circle with her hands, her lips moving as she whispered a spell, that no one could hear.

A small green ball started to appear between her hands making Mia gasp, the small green ball started getting bigger and bigger, as it finally bust and a white flash light blinded everyone.
