Chapter 11 Journey

"Where are you leaving suddenly" Mia sighed, as she heard Sira asking her this question for the third time, she didn't have any answers to Sira's question, the only thing she could answer her was,

" I told you Sira I'm going on a trip" Mia saw Sira standing in front of her with a suspicious look on her face as if she didn't believe her.

Mia kept some warm clothes in her blue suitcase as she didn't had any idea how that place would be. "Should I come with you" Sira asked Mia as she sat on the bed, Mia was thinking hard for some kind of excuse,

"I understand if you want to go alone" Sira said with a sad face making Mia feel guilty.

"Sira I'm sorry, but I just want to be alone for some time, I hope you understand" Mia pleaded feeling bad, she had never lied to Sira.

"I understand" Sira smiled brightly" but you have to get me something from there" Mia nodded her head as she felt happy seeing her friend smile.

Mia saw a red car, she knew it was really expensive, which made her curious of how Andrew owns such a car, by the time she reached the car, she saw Andrew was waiting for her while Jane was sleeping peacefully.

"What took you so long" Andrew asked gazing at her, Mia felt his eyes checking her out.

"What are you looking at" She raised her brow at him in a questioning way. " why are always so dressed up" he asked,

" You don't have to know everything" Mia said as she sat In the passenger seat, she saw Andrew roll his eye at her and sat in the drivers seat.

"Ready" Mia heard Andrew as he turned around to look at her, Mia nodded her head.

They were driving for a good three hours ,Mia's legs and back were aching now from seating in the same position for hours.

"When will we reach" Mia asked for the fifth time, "thirty minute to be exact" Andrew answered grumpily, Mia knew he was tired, and felt sorry for him.

"So why do you want to help me" Mia asked hoping to start a conversation, when she didn't got a reply she again added " is there something you want from me in return"

"yes there is actually something I want in return" Mia's eyes widened as his words" I want you to shut up" he stated.

Mia pouted angrily as she whispered "how rude".

"Are we there" Jane said as she stretched her body, Mia smiled at her even if she was a hundred or thousands year old witch, she looked really cute in this kid's body.

" yes we did just a minute ago but how could you know, you were sleeping for the whole journey" Andrew said in a sarcastic tone making Jane roll her eyes.

"what a lazy witch you are, I don't think you'll be of any help" Andrew saw Jane eyes turning black which indicated she was angry.

"Please both of you stop, we are here to find something important, so stop acting childish" Mia said glaring at both of them making them nod their head in understanding.

Three of them got out of the car, Mia shivered a bit as she felt the cold breeze. This place was really terrifying in the first look.

Mia didn't imagine this place to be like this, the clouds were grey as It may rain any second and there were small houses most of them were in grey only some of them were black in colour, they were surrounded by big, large trees there was a kind of peace they had here maybe a terrifying one.

There was a big black gate, on top of it was written in bolt letters SLANTHAR WOODS, we had to cross it to enter in their territory, but four guards were standing there, they had big horns on their heads, big ears and they were wearing dark grey suits and had long swords in their hands.

Mia thought the people who live here really loved grey as everything was grey here. "yes they do love grey colour" Jane answered "no way, you can also" Mia couldn't finish her sentence as Jane interrupted her "Yes I can hear you thoughts" Mia thought of course she can hear her thoughts she is a witch, Mia was a bit curious thinking about can Andrew also hear other people's thought.

"How will we enter" Mia asked looking at Jane, Andrew also had the same question. As both of them saw Jane smirk, making them aware that she had a weird plan, they just hoped it doesn't land them in any trouble.

They saw as Jane made her way towards one of the guard, Mia felt a knot forming in her stomach from nervousness, she was a bit scared,

"Don't worry Jane won't do anything that creates trouble" Mia heard Andrew trying to comfort her but she could feel a bit of doubt in his voice.

They kept on staring as Jane reached the guard and the first thing she did was, she started crying loudly looking at the guard making everyone's attention turn to her.

Mia's mouth was wide open while Andrew facepalmed himself mentally at the Witch's stupidity.
