Chapter 20 Who is she?

"How can he get kidnapped" Aiden groaned in frustration, as he kept walking, it has been fifteen minutes, and he still couldn't find the place Akira mentioned.

The forest was deep, and there was not a single sign of an abandoned place, Aiden sighed feeling tired, he once again closed his eyes and tried to communicate with Akira but he still couldn't reach him.

"How the hell, I'll find you" Aiden shouted in frustration, he kept walking, trying to find the place Akira mentioned, suddenly he heard a rustling sound, making him stop dead in his track.

Maybe it was a lion, no.. Hmm…. Maybe a wolf or a leopard, what if it's a hyena, Aiden kept thinking all the possible ways, he could get hurt trying to save, the old fox.

Aiden walked towards the direction of sound, trying to see what it was, there stood a girl, holding a gun in her hands making Aiden widened his eyes, why would a girl be in this forest that too, with a gun.

Aiden decided to follow her, he had a feeling, she knew where Akira was, he kept walking behind her quitely making sure she could not hear him.

"How did she knew this place" Aiden whispered, he was hiding behind a tree watching her enter the abandoned place, it looked like an old house, who the hell want to stay here, in the middle of the forest, Aiden thought.

"Are you going to stand behind the tree, till I don't leave?" Aiden was dumbfounded by her question, did she knew that he was following her.

"H-Hello" Aiden stuttered as he went towards her, "I was just, trying to find a place to rest" Aiden continued when he saw, she was looking at him with a glare, " then I saw you so I thou-"

"So you thought I will help you?" She said with a smirk on her face, Aiden nodded, hoping she thinks like that. "You should not lie Aiden, that's not good" She said making Aiden, widen his eyes in shock, "you know me?" Aiden questioned, She looked at him and without giving him an answer, she went inside the house.

Aiden followed her inside, the place was very old and it was even smelling a lot, "Did you find Akira?" She questioned, "H-How did you know I'm trying to find him?" Aiden asked, he was sure now, that she was the one who knew where Akira was.

"By the way, my name is Kate" She said making her way towards a room, Aiden furrowed his eyebrow in confusion and followed her, when he entered the room, his eyes widen in shock.

Akira was on the floor, breathing heavily, Aiden ran towards him, he shook him but got no response.

"What did you do to him?" Aiden yelled at Kate, she rolled her eyes at him "I did nothing, and don't worry he won't die for now" Aiden noticed how she emphasized now.

"Aiden" Akira said in a small voice, making Aiden sigh in relief, he went out and came back with a bowl of water, he went towards Akira and made him drink the water.

Aiden noticed how she didn't stop him from giving Akira water, "Are you done?" Kate questioned, making Aiden look at her with a glare, "why did you, kidnap him?" Aiden asked making her chuckle, "I have my reasons" She stated.

"I don't care, I'm taking him with me, so move aside" Aiden said in a warning tone, "why don't you try" Kate challenged, soon from nowhere three men in a black attire surrounded them, their faces were cover by a black hood.

"Aiden, run they will kill you" Akira shouted, standing in front of him, trying to protect Aiden, "Wow! Do you think you will be able to save him?" She said glaring at Akira, with a hint of anger in her voice, Aiden was confused, what was even happening, why was she trying to hurt them.

"let's see how this goes" she said smirking, as the men took out their swords, making Aiden roll his eyes at them, "what makes you think I will fight them?" Aiden asked her with a smirk.

Suddenly a red circle formed around him and Akira, making Kate widen her eyes in shock, and within a second they were in Andrew's apartment.

Aiden sighed, he glanced at Akira who was looking weak, "Are you okay" Aiden asked making Akira nod his head, "who was s-?" before Aiden could finish his sentence, he heard a voice that made him widened his eyes in fear.
