Chapter 22 Do I like him?

"I think, something is wrong with Akira" Mia whispered to Andrew who was eating a sandwich, sitting on the couch, glancing towards Akira, who was sleeping peacefully on the floor.

"Hmm… you are right, he does look like someone who got scammed" Andrew said making Mia punch him lightly on his shoulder.

"Ouch.. Why would you do that" Andrew asked with a scowl on his face, "Because you are taking this as a joke" Mia said.

"Both of you stop being loud" Jane whispered to them, Mia nodded her head as she turned towards Jane, who was sitting beside Andrew, "When will Sofia come?" Mia asked.

"How will I know, I'm waiting more eagerly than you" Jane said making Mia confused, why was Jane waiting so eagerly for Sofia, maybe she wanted to go back, Mia felt sad, thinking about Jane wanted to leave.

"you want to go back?" Mia asked sadly, Jane gave Mia, are you serious look, "I don't plan to go back till we break your curse" Jane said making Mia jump in excitement, "Will you girls let me eat in peace" Andrew said, as he got up and went in the kitchen.

Mia chuckled at him, "So I wanted to ask you" Jane said hesitantly "What?" Mia asked, "I wanted to ask, do you like Andrew?" Mia was stunned at her question, why would Jane think that, "No.. I don't like him".

"Are you sure?" Jane gave her a suspicious look, Jane kept looking at her with a intense look.

Mia sighed, she didn't know what to say, when she saw Andrew for the first time, her heart did skip a beat, but that does not mean she likes him.

Do I like him? Mia sighed at her thoughts.

When Mia turned towards at Jane, she was giving her a weird smile, Mia was a bit confused, but then she realized, Jane could read her thoughts.

Mia groaned feeling embarrassed, Jane laughed loudly at her, "Why are you laughing so loudly?" Andrew asked, when he was done eating, he was coming towards them.

"Please don't tell anyone about this" Mia whispered, making sure Andrew could not hear them, Jane nodded, making Mia sigh.

"Nothing… I-I was just asking her about Akira which made her laugh" Mia stuttered a bit, Jane was smiling at her, "What were you asking her?" Andrew asked.

"Nothing, She was asking me, how did Akira survived all this years" Jane interrupted, Andrew busted in laughter at Jane's words, making Mia look at them in confusion, "If I tell you how he lived all this years, he will kill me" Andrew said chuckling a bit.

"you should ask him yourself" Jane said, as Andrew hummed agreeing with her, "You people are so loud" Akira said stretching his body, "I was trying to ignore your voices, but you made it so difficult" Akira glanced at them with an irritated look.

"So you did hear, Mia asking us about you? Andrew asked, "I did but, don't ask me anything right now, I will tell you about that, some other time" Akira said as he made his way towards the door.

"Where are you going" Mia asked, "I have something to do, but I will be back with Sofia" saying that Akira went out, "Why is he not using his powers?" Mia asked Andrew, "I think he is a bit weak, because of the kidnapping" Andrew glanced at Mia.

"You are right, he does look weak" Jane said, "We should do something about that" Mia suggested, "We can't do anything, Akira does not like when anyone interfere in his business" Andrew said,

Mia sighed and glanced at Andrew, he was staring at her, "What?" Mia asked him, Andrew smiled a bit and said, "you are a good person" Mia blushed a bit at his sudden compliment, she looked at him and smiled.

Jane fake coughed, making them look away from each other, "So what do you think, will Sofia help you?" Jane asked making them all serious.

"She has to help us" Andrew said in a stern voice. "I hope she does" Mia said. "I wanted to tell you guys about something" Jane said, getting their attention.

"I-I wanted to tell you about why I agreed to help you" Jane glanced at Mia with an anxious look.

"What is it?" Mia asked, "Well, Sofia pro-" Jane stopped, what she was saying as they heard a loud scream from Andrew's bedroom.

"It's Aiden's voice" Andrew said as he hurried towards his room, Mia and Jane followed him.

"What the hell is this?" Mia shouted.
