Chapter 27 A trip?

"Mom please, help me!" Mia shouted, but her mom was busy banging on her bedroom door, that was locked from inside.

Mia was running away from her grandma who was running behind her with a stick in her hands, while Andrew ran inside her room and locked it.

"Grandma, please at least listen to me" Mia said as she was standing across her grandma who was trying to catch her breath, "How can you make an old lady run behind you like this!" Grace, Mia's grandma shouted, taking a seat on the couch.

"How can you go to a trip without informing us, we were so worried about you" Mia's mom said, coming towards her, Mia could see, she was still very angry at her.

Mia looked down, not being able to answer her question, "It's okay aunt Hannah, please don't get angry" Sira said, giving Mia's mom a glass of water, Mia glared at her.

Sira was trying her best not to laugh at her best friend, Mia mentally took a note to kill her after this. "Mom I was a bit upset about everything that happened, I just wanted a break", Mia exclaimed, sitting beside her grandma.

"But… you could have at least told us" Grace said softly, she knew Mia was upset about things that happened.

"Can I come out?", Andrew asked, slowly opening Mia's bedroom door, for the first time in his life, he was scared of someone, he was sure, he never wants to get on the bad side of Mia's family.

"Yeah boy come out, we are waiting for you". Hannah shouted, she had a glare on her face, making Andrew gulp in fear, if Aiden saw him like this, he will surely make fun of him till his last breath.

"H-Hello, m-mam I'm Andrew, Mia's friend" Andrew stuttered, because of all the stares he was getting from this people, 'Where are you my friend' Andrew thought, whishing Aiden could be here to lighten the mood.

'Aiden was damn capable of changing the mood in the room within seconds' Andrew thought, he was standing awkwardly in front of Mia's mom, while her grandma was smiling weirdly at him, and Mia's friend's face was emotionless.

"Don't do this to him, he is my friend" Mia said, all of them were now staring at her, "OOOOOHH" Sira and Mia's grandma said together smiling cheekily at them, Andrew was getting red in embarrassment, while Mia looked at them as if they have lost their mind.

When Mia heard a knock on the door, she sighed, thanking whoever was there, saving her from this embarrassment.

"Hi" Aiden said, entering Mia's home, Jane followed behind him, "Mom, meet my friend's Aiden and Jane" Mia said introducing them, "Hello, Mia's mom" Jane said politely waving her hand.

"Please call me Hannah" Jane nodded her head, the atmosphere was so awkward, Andrew just wanted to run away from there. Andrew glanced at Aiden and pleaded him with his eyes, 'please do something'.

Aiden nodded his head, "We know that you are angry at her but, I hope you will try to understand her situation" Aiden said hoping they get the point.

"I'm also sorry for not taking care of this matter, I should have been the one to inform you about her" Andrew said, he know he should have been the one to inform her mom about her, he was also a bit mistaken in this situation.

Grace could see that they were being honest she sighed "It's okay, so how was your trip".

Mia was a bit taken back, she was looking at her grandma, 'did she really forgive me' Mia thought.

"It was great, we did not expect to get the orange rose so easily" Jane said making Andrew groaned, Aiden sighed while Mia was shocked, when Jane realised what she said, she widen her eyes in shock.

"What orange rose?" Sira asked glancing at Mia, "I-I'm really hungry Mia, can I get something to eat?", Aiden said trying to divert their attention, "Oh, I'm sorry, I did not even offer you something", Hannah said going to the kitchen, she came back with juices for them.

"I think you should tell her about that" Jane whispered to Mia who was sipping her orange juice, she was a bit confused at first , but then she remembered what Jane was trying to say.

"Mom" Mia said, trying to get the attention of her mom, "Hmm" Hannah answered, looking at her, "W-Well we all are…"

"Andrew" Grace suddenly cut off Mia, Andrew looked at her, "Yes.." Andrew was confused why was she looking at him with a smirk on her face, "What do you think about Mia?" Grace asked.

Andrew was surprised by her question, he knew what she meant, but he acted like he does not understand her meaning, "Uh, I think she is very smart, beautiful and she is v-".

"Okay, that's enough" Grace cut him off, Andrew smiled a bit, looking at Mia "So, can I speak?" Mia asked, her cheeks a bit red.

They all nodded.

"We are again, going on a trip" Mia exclaimed feeling nervous.

"WHAT" Hannah shouted.
