A good thing I activated Battle Mode earlier before climbing to the second sanctuary. Now, underneath the rainstorm, I fought against the hatted man.
One quick swing. My short sword aimed for his right arm. The man blinked. He leapt backwards, avoiding the arching slash from my blade. He was incredibly fast. As he landed, his gun pointed at me. The imaginary red line appeared from the muzzle of his revolver, showing where the bullet would travel. He aimed for my chest. I quickly tilted my body from its firing path.
BANG!
The shot missed, hitting the sanctuary wall behind me. After that shot, I let no second pass by and struck him with a sword technique. Relentlessly, I swung my sword. Diagonal, vertical, horizontal, even a move resembling a twister. The rain splashed, vapored as it entered the area of my attacks. Within the window of two seconds, thirty slashes unleashed. The man in front of me was inhumanly fast. He meticulously dodged every swing.
