Preparations to Reconstruct Asfi

I sat still on the wooden stool just beside Asfi's body. My eyes blinked slowly. Sigh. It came as no surprise to me that the automaton's reactor—Alpharion I—was irreparable. I saw how terrible Asfi's condition back at the dungeon. Her reactor was leaking fluids, plentiful of cracks, dismantled cables, and ruptures here and there. Such appearance was obvious to my mind that her reactor couldn't possibly be saved.

"I half-expected this," I said. "I already predicted that this problem may resurface. But I believe you have an alternative, Ryza?"

"For the moment, not quite. I just tapped into the core part of her power supply not so long ago. Seeing the damages inside made me want to hurl."

"Can't blame you, heh."

"Nyeh. Not to mention that Asfi has one of the most complex-built automaton reactors. As a mere technician, there's nothing I can do to fix it."

My fingers caressed the tip of my chin. I know who can.
